I was about to write my own review, but then I checked out yours and thought: yeah, there is no need for it.

Perfect review, I agree with everything. I do appreciate that the movie had more serious tone than all the Hollywood takes.

Ye Shi Jie's eyes were so expressive I need the actor as lead like yesterday! GIVE HIM THE GIRL!

Lets talk about the best of the lot -- Wanning there you girl - you shattered my heart into pieces you deserved every bit of torture but it was not for you to die like this and make me love you ! - the best end served ! < she deserves torture, but also a hug 🥲

This drama felt to me like a dramatic theatrical play. < my issue was, that at some point it was not dramatic enough. It had its moment, but there were just a few highlights 🙃

Bad camera face close ups: they were a bit too much and not really flattering. < some of the close ups were the most beautiful scenes of the show, but the ones with the front close ups when the actors were basically looking into the camera were cringe 🤣

The crazy princess became my favorite tbh 🥲

I liked the drama a lot, probably will rewatch it soon, since I'm in the right mood. Even tho it was short, it skillfully showed a lot of depth in the characters.

I LOVED THE PRINCESS. She alone and her story was 10/10 for me 😭

They only present vague ideas of what happened, enough to keep the plot going, not enough to actually make it interesting. The whole point is - the writing lacks detail.

I totally agree how the story was so refreshing. While I didn't like the ending that much, i liked how unconventional it was.

And i totally agree that it was more than romance. All the elements were as interesting as the bromance itself 🔥

Omg yes. The actor who played lin jiushi was able to hide his lack of skill for most of the drama, but the closer to the end we've got and the story become more emotionally heavy, he failed 🥲
