About her exchanging food/supplies for syq, i hope not. Ive been thinking about this since its not in the novel (huhu drama just living rent free in my head) and there was a discussion below. It does seem a stupid plan, and she's hardly stupid. I'm wondering if she was goaded into it? By syq? There was a preview scene in the end of the episode of them talking and syq looking crazy again. And then, the punishment. 30 beatings only? For losing a high value prisoner? I dont think so. So it must not be a simple exchange. Syq most probably is just live bait and they tricked the enemy army so they can get the supplies. That's basically what happened in the novel but w/o syq involvement. The enemy army must've believed that they're desperate enough to lose the syq since that's what xz was showing (he ordered some men to scavenge herbs and stuff) But im still worried, since in the novel, around that time, syq was rescued. Im hoping that they would just change that and keep him prisoner. He's going to be captured again anyway. Anyway i believe drama would not disappoint us. 🤞

I think i saw in a trailer wei yan holding a whip or whipping someone. Im thinking they might change the character who did the whipping in the novel. I think it's an important part of xz that he would still choose fcy, so i would be really disappointed if they would not include that.
I mean he did have trauma and also genetics. So youll never know. 🤣
