Emperor already seems to be smitten and gets jealous. I think FL seems to still see him as a friend. Sort of. He's still the emperor.
They're not there yet, he needs her to gain control over his ministers, and he needs him as a political backer. So yeh a bit of a slow burn.

She is careful in only challenging him in private. The emperor seems to allows it with people he feels close to. Besides, they still need each other.
And though she is smart, she has always been a bit reckless.
But from how corrupted the officials are, this maybe the best choice for now. At the very least, she got the trust of the public and they're submitting their grievances to their department.

Yeh.. I doubt it.. He seems to be the controlling and i know better than everybody else type of person.
But yeh, he doesn't seem to be the final boss and i feel the main leads would overcome his control soon.
Storywise, he's like the first arc where the main leads would establish themselves in the story.

Hm.. I have no problem with the competition poaching their team mbr,. Its still up to the team mbr to decide whether it's beneficial for him to accept the offer or not. What i didnt agree with is that he submitted his registration with the other team before telling FL.

Im sorry, the scene where one of the arrogant grave robber being publicly flogged, while FL and the corrupt official were busy arguing was sort of funny. 😭😂

It's nice to have a genius FL. She's warm (and cute ><) but socially awkward.
I can totally understand ML's admiration and fascination.

The hardest part in watching this drama is that im crushing so much on txw. 😭I would suddenly catch myself thinking she so pretty. 😭😂

I've read the comments, theyre unhappy with ML, i mean. He just wants to compete with her fairly. He knows there's a gap. He wants to know how wide that gap is and also prove that he can stand on his own. I dont think this will be their dynamic forever.
Maybe FL doesnt completely understand? I dont think she has had real competition or rival before.
Also being separated from ML for a while would be good so FL can build relationships on her own.

Also FL's older brother loves space too. I wonder if that partly inspired FL's fascination with it, or vice versa.
