This Shumo was too ambitious and he never learned from his mistakes. How come, even if he knew he was dying from the crown prince's helper hand (Yin Zhang) . On his death bed, Shumo has the nerves to advice SML to collaborate with the Crown Prince?! Obviously his death was not good lesson enough.
If SML gets entangled with the Crown Prince , he will soon die by his hand.

I also liked the cinematography and the costumes. But I appreciated this story with no unresolved plot points. Even if I was pissed by the second couple of murderers.

If I am not mistaken, Yan's officials are supposed to marry the "100 beauties" and the emperor asked the CP to be the first to choose among them. So, CP was about to pick her to marry him as his concubine but ML stopped him.
