She stabbed him twice as they were surrounded by the city lord and his Yunpei hidden army. Then she pushed him into the water.
I have got the impression that she saved his life with the stabbs so that she can push him to the water and let him escape.
On the surface, she still works for Na Zhan. But, as she is clever, I think that she might have inklings that Na Zhan is implicated.
We will see in the next episodes.

I did not like the ending. I don't even know how to qualify it. I call that sad ending. But I guess this should be labelled happy ending.

Still not. Na Zhan told FL that ML was responsible for her mother's death as expected. So that FL stays in Yunpei and he can use her.
But no, we still haven't seen the missing scenes of the Tanpui attack.
But my suspicion of Na Zhan grows stronger now. He manipulated what he knew to well to be innocent.

SML doesn't know self-respect, fanckly I don't understand his behaviour after what he saw FL do.

I also hoped she was saving his life because she would be very dumb to just accept everything Na Zhan tells her.

You should give it a try at least the first 4 episodes.

My pleasure. I really enjoyed this drama, it kept me captivated for weeks. So I am happy you enjoyed it as well. I always said that I liked the investigation.

What I liked the most in this drama was to see the dowager laughing.
That was priceless because I laughed with her ha ha .

I don't trust the "reminiscing mirror". Did she really need ML's blood to make it work. It seems like a trick to me. Even if she watches further in it, I think it shows only lies.

What had to come, came. It was about time. Now we can move on with the plot.
I am still sad to see FL so gullible.
