She cannot easily delay the consummation of the marriage. She has been dumped by the city lord of Yunpei on episode…
I second that. I know some people don't understand it but some other people fast-forward some parts they think are annoying. So, it is normal if they don't understand plot points afterwards. FL is a genius in Na Zhan's eyes. It would be a bad move to kill her, now that she has countinually pledged allegiance to him. I don't know if NZ has all the volumes of the "desert scroll", however, I am pretty sure, he read all the ones he has, and couldn't piece them together. Indeed, his only choice is to bear with FL's tantrums.

Thank you for those valid points. I remember that, the lords married that day more than 32 concubines out of 130 tribes. So yes. It is hard to keep tab on everyone of them. I suppose that he previously had some concubines.
We don't know yet because it is still airing but I have the impression that they will have a happy ending. ML…
We don't know if he orderred the arrows strick. We only see that : 1 - the eunuch tells him that the ladies from Masui are at the gate of Tanpui. 2 - we see a rain of arrows going down on the ladies of Masui. This is a puzzle. There are missing pieces. So we have to watch thirther to know if, as you supposed : he "he killed her mother". My guess he tried to sva them but was stopped in some way. I will have to confirm that. I this case, he would not be guilty.
She is obivious of his identity at the moment, and I think she will put the blame on him. But the main antagonist is certainly responsible.

I don't think it s about the budget. At her arrival, there was a lot of guards. I think it's the plot. I my opinion, they want to show that Na Zhan is scheming and he handles his secret operations with his henchmen only. Hence the lack of guards : less witnesses.
As for the FLs and MLs, yes I also think that they feel too at ease. They are asking to get caugh.

Yes, the city lord of Yunpei can't kill her or exile her because he needs her to decypher the desert scroll. She has photographic memory. It is a valid reason. The city lord told her " from now on you are no more my concubine, but my partner." I call that dumping her.
The he tricked ML on purpose on episode 10 or 11. He purposefully sent the guard elsewhere and he sent the general to catch the one who would save the old man from the hidden room in the library. He almost caught ML in the library.
This drama is so unserious. The two male leads walk around the palace like they own it. FL can leave whenever…
She cannot easily delay the consummation of the marriage. She has been dumped by the city lord of Yunpei on episode 13 I guess. She is no more a concubine but a partner now.
Yes, they seem to wander casually in Yumpei and in the palace. It might be because the guards were sent to a temple to wait for the bandits to come. So the surveillance in lesser at that point of time. But like you I was surprised to see them so at ease in public and in the mansion.
I’m on the fence myself and I only saw 12. Maybe it’ll get better after the whole her finding out the truth…
No, the 2nd concubine's chamber is closed to the city lord's. If you remember, she wanted to be next to him. FL's chamber is far away in a forbidden zone where everyboby believes there are ghosts. In ep 14 they show RW like he is next door, at the balcony, but it is an ellipsis.

Unbelievable.

Crew and cast did not have a choice.

He almost caught ML in the library.
To me, it is logical
