I think that Ye Xiwu fell in love with him when he was king and she wanted to seduce him. She fell into her own trap. I remember that she wondered if she was crazy. And later, the fox Pian Ran noticed it and teased her for being in love with him.

This is also a happy ending. Tantai Jin never became a god of evil of the 4 continents and 3 realms because he never completed the process of surendering himself to evil. He was still Tantai Jin till the very end.

The Only godess in the end is Su Su because she want throught the "heartless way" completely and thus broke throught Nirvana and was reunited with all the deceased gods and godesses who perished durind the last coming of the evil god of 3 realms ans 4 continents.

gods dont reincarnate once dead. But Tantail Jin broke his devine essence before desappearing so he died as a mortal maint to reincarnate.

Su Su now is a godess and she knows everything. This is why at the very end she waits for him to comeback.
