I loved her in "Love and the emperor" (funny drama) but I don't know why the chemistry is not fire with Dai Gao Zheng? Other than that, the plot is ok. This tell e that chemistry might take its source from the person not the level of acting.

She is a liar. So yes I don't know if she ever lost her memory. At this point I am beginning to believe that she never lost her memory or she lost it briefly and regained it but never said anything to anyone. Because her dialogues were not convaincing.
I am not sure where they filmed but it wasn't in China (I think).
"DGZ's chemistry with Chen Fang Tong is unmatched." Yes I totally agree. I hope to see their next two project. He is the best with her. I am now watching "she rides the wind" but chemistry is not good and even DGZ is seems awkward with FL. Frankly. CFT is his best partner so far, in my views.
After re-listening to the whole OST, now I can say I love all the songs quite equally. They are so addictive!

( Did she fake her amnesia?) DGZ is great and I liked "maid's revenge" better. He is good at fighting. I liked that they filmed in the forest and in a different country. It was great not to be in the same studios. I liked it. I wondered if the were in Thailand or in Burma. I would pick Thailand because it is cheaper there. This is why all those actors who sing go there to make concert and meet fans.

You know what, I loved the kdrama and I just watched the first episode of this japanese version. But the story telling was different in this drama. I felt it more angsting than the Kdrama. Although I know nothing about the story, FL in this version seems cold whereas nabi in the Kdrama was depressed because of her break-up with her jerk of a boyfriend. But Nabi gave me a feeling of an unconventional girl who appears shy on the surface. However, this japanese character seems cold to me. Please take that judgement with a grain of salt because I know that watching 1 episode isn't watching all the show. This is just that ML and FL felt cold to me as for episode 1. In that case the sexual tension was impacted. Which is the main element of the kdrama. If they missed that, this is not the same story .
