Me too I started it for him but stayed also for the beautiful forest. It is not often seen in mini dramas. I liked it.

I was not annoyed by the tropes because everything was eye candy. But the feeling changed after the first 3 episodes. from spy /action ovie to romance.

I think that viki subbers are the best. Inever paid attention too the quality of Netflix's subtitles. But after this mess, I will prioritize Other platforms over NF.
Too bad all the dramas are not on viki. Their subs are great.

HeeJoo has a fabulous character development. After all these horrible event and almost losing her life. She is now ready to move on with Sa Eon. I liked that, they understood that keeping a distance from those malicious people was the best.

Yes, I liked that Chief Hong was present during the encounter between HeeJoo and Her mother. It makes it formal and the public eye ( chief Hong) protects HeeJoo from her mother's manipulations and emotional blackmail.

You think that her mother starts to understand that she was wrong. I am not sure about that. To me, it is part of her emotional blackmail. because I don't think narcisistic people can never change. This is why I suppose that she is trying to come back to her good side.
Because when I think about it : the mother lost everything at this point.

- She lost her favourite victim and pushover : mute HeeJoo
- She lost the glamorous/ political aura of the Baek's mother in law.
- She lost maybe the trust of Papa Hong, after everybody knew that she forced HeeJoo to play the mute child for almost 20 years.
- She lost her perfect image in the Hong Mansion. The employee might be gossiping about her wrong doings. This is lethal to a narcissist who only cares about her prestige.

So I think that Mama Hong is desperate for restoring her pride and she would do anything to make it happen.

HeeJoo is right to keep a distance. Narcissistic people don't change. They are wired a different way mentally. They only use people as tools.
Luckily Sa Eon is there to protect HeeJoo :)


I heard a story about a Real Life Narcissist. His wife managed to escape his manipulations and divorced him. This man then told her that he had changed ; he actively pursued her during 2 years ; the woman believed him ; he proposed ; and on the wedding day he told the enamoured woman that he got his revenge by making her fall in love with him again and he dumped her on the spot.

So this is why Narcissistic people never change.
This story was told to me by a psychiatrist.

The ending felt like the introduction to season 2 to me. Because the last episode was very different from the rest of the series.
And I liked the romantic feeling of it. Him saving her and even the bed scene. Very cute and romantic.

And the name "Sa Eon Only Love" Awww. So cute. It was the icing on the cake.
Watching HeeJoo and Sa Eon smiling at the dinner table was just a joy.
This bright happy ending makes me want to rewatch it.

I don't know why some people say, it is an open ending. Maybe because Sa Eon is coming back after his mission.

Yes, they blocked the rating. Overwise the haters and the bots would have achieved there purpose. The fact that they are still lurking in the comment section, even after the misunderstanding in korean language has been clarifide shows that they only like to spread hate regardless of the truth. People understanding hangul (korean people) didn't bother joining this nonsensical fuss because they knew at first glance that is was completely false to accuse the writers of the show.

If he has had the help he needed from Mama Baek, Real Sa Eon would have lived differently. Certainly under surveillance for the rest of his life, but at least he wouldn't have become a murderer.
Because I suppose that, once someone crossed a certain line, there is no turning back. Because the memory can trigger action again.
He coud have been saved if he was stopped before ever comitting an crime. I guess.
The baeks had all the money to do it. But they never helped him in a healthy way. I want to watch "flower of evil" to see the mother in this one.

One-dimensional villain : Yes I didn't have the time to dislike Park Do Jae. When I think of it. He hurt HeeJoo and Sa Eon a lot and I am not sure that he is redeemable. I mean, it migh be because of his twin brother revenge plan and the fact that he didn't kill anybody. But He tried, pushing HeeJoo.
You are right I don't have no bad feeeling lingering after seeing their reunion at the very last scene of the show. Amazing.

YYS's OST is great. I didn' know He was singing this song. It gave a very different vibe. Knowing he sings makes it more personal. Like a gift to his fans. That's sweet.

I love OSTs and WTPR's OST was on rotation in my flat for days.
I am glad to know that this controversy did not reach South Korea because they don't need translation, thus they were never misled like the international audience was by the subtitles.

Yes this drama is perfect. The only complaint I could think of, is about the ending in Argan. it needed 1 or 2 episodes to settle the story and the kidnapping well. In my opinion, the show would have been perfect with 2 more episodes. But I still rated it 9.5.
This is how much I loved it.

It starts with the pitiful kata going at lin's after cheating n her. I wonder why they needed to make him cheat on her in ep 20. He did not need that.

In 3 days the rating artificially lost 1 point. But luckily MDL team blocked it. So no matter what haters do. The rating will remain high. This is fair because WTPR is a great drama, the song even made it to the billboard.

But I liked the palaca ploys. And the OST.

Some great kisses in "Your trap" or "the princess" ( but those are forced for the most part)
