Yes. I guess he gave it up for his acting career. I do wish he interacts with Int'l fans more seeing it is easy for him given the language.

it's a bit bad timing it coincides with the national mourning in China. I do hope since FeiYu is fluent in English and can see posst online that he knows him and JingYi also blew up internationally.

Honestly, I say this without bias, LiXun (ML) is not toxic. He's got a bit of attitude problem in the beginning but he's far from toxic.

I wish for that too. But this is adapted from a novel and they already covered the story, so season 2 is a bit unlikely.
I'm still hoping though that we get to see special episodes with them as parents.

I think it's because I liked LuSi's character there, I would have watch it even without the romance part. Her family situation (specially with her Mom) somehow touched me. But I do understand, those who specifically started it for romance might find it boring.
Yeah, LBFAD is also one of my favorites this year.😊
Actually only 4 dramas caught my attention (Reset, LLTG, LBFAD and L&P). I dropped all the others including some of the hyped Kdramas.

- because LiXun basically made a drunk confession, when he said he suffered no loss as long as she's by his side.

"Something can't be done after drinking."
- 'something' = them sleeping together lol

"Are you sober?"
- basically checking if what he said and what happened was just because of alcohol and if he regrets it now that he's sober.

"It's late to ask this."
Because she said it 'can't be' yet they already did it.

Because all this time LiXun is saying he doesn't wanna get back together, ZhuYun is feeling unsure if he means it or everything that happened that night is only because of alcohol. 😊

yeah, this kind of hype helps you explode popularity, however, they become a baggage later on. Immortality was never in my radar, I do like Luo YunXi but I didn't even know FeiYu before L&P.
I don't know what's the issue with the airing, I have no idea. I just from time to time check the MDL comments section for it, it got 76k comments and fans are sometimes arguing over random stuff. What more when it airs?
I'm quite glad L&P came out first and it became 'that drama' for FeiYu. Would be difficult if Immortality aired first and we got some 'Immortality-Feiyu baggage' on L&P.

I agree, I like the 2nd part too and all the angst of the unspoken history between them. I guess it's really a matter of taste

so I know it's been shot and done, but I'm kinda worried for FeiYu regarding Immortality.
You know how crazy fans can get, and just looking at the hype, I hope it doesn't bring him any sort of negativity later on.

I'm happy FuYiZhou finally got acknowledgement as LiXun's brother. Even FZJ, repeatedly referred to him as LiXun's brother.lol

Yeah, imagine your Mom died/dying, you just got expelled, you're soaking wet looking miserable outside the happy home of the dean who expelled you.
Knowing how much pride LX has, and he's not a sappy guy to begin with, ZY offering him an umbrella made him feel more pathetic.
The last thing he'll feel is have a crush on her. It'll be more convincing if 'eat the rich' crossed his mind during that time. lol

Exactly. I think when he said 'it looks like a scene from a fairytale' it not in any sort of romantic way. It just depicts his inner feelings on how he realise how miserable he is and how distant ZhuYun's world was.

Tbh, that scene could have possibly triggered some negative stereotype he initially has with ZhuYun, like being fake and hypocritical when she approached him. It's only when he saw her perseverance that he started looking at her differently.


It's also amazing of the director that they mirrored that bday scene in the last episode. When he was looking at her from across the window (in their new house),how similar the scenes were, but how different LiXun perceive and feels that moment compared to the first. It was truly about his journey.

As others mentioned, it's a slow burn, but unlike others I didn't mind that the main couple didn't have much screentime together on Part 1, Part 1 for me was perfect.
My issue with part 2 is I felt the editing was rushed, it wasn't as polished as the first part. And tbh, as much as I love WuLei and LuSi (and they truly also have chemistry!!), I believe the director/script didn't utilize this chemistry to the full extent.

I 1000000% love LLTG part 1, but part 2 fell short for me..
Unless something great really comes up in the next 4 weeks, L&P is my top drama for 2022.

I second this. I don't believe he fell in love at first sight. LX is not sentimental, he's kinda jaded, he did truly find her hypocritical in the beginning. It is when he left his jacket that he started to really take interest in her, after seeing her perseverance.

it's during the awarding ceremony when she ran but failed to reached LX before he attacked FZJ, she already figured LX is planning something that's why he acted abnormally.

She was hurt and depressed on the prison scene, but I don't think she truly believed what came out of his mouth. That's why when they met again she wasn't really angry with him.
