I'm just baffled as to why they didn't just kill them. Anyway, nobody would ever search for them or even know…
it's so over exploited plot device... they could kill them, they could actually provide for this people, give them some gov job and source of living, or hide them someplace else... but not in that abandoned temple :D
a tip for all the future investigators of C-dramaland: if there is any corruption case in the local prefecture, gov guys will hide all the refugees/beggars in the old abandoned temple just outside the city 🤣😂😅
I have not read the whole novel but have started to read the last 2 chapters, Wuxia aka ML died. JC was pregnant…
He is all over her as he really fall for her but with a time in the novel hewill be only overprotective... Also she will became in the mean time an army physician. The very last scene in the novel is between JC and CL - when Cui tells her that he wants to spent all future New Years with her... and awaits for her answer
No, SML uses her but without harming her. In fact he is all lovey-dovey around her which is annoying because his…
well, that's an issue with dramas which are based on the novel... some will stay true to the original story and some will deviate a lot screenwriters decided to change plots so we could have a romance drama I hope for a good second part of it which should focus on Yeo Luo freedom and Huan war plots will be a good one

Yes, I do agree - PY character is much better written in the novel - but we also have different course of events there, so I am keen to see where this drama is actually heading. I only hope they will stop to turn him into some cringe guy...
Absolute nonsense that PeiYan needs a hard hit on the head
In the novel he could simply take her life not just keep her in his mansion :) even his minions tells him that he is too kind for that girl... I am not defending him but he is typical son of prominent family running for court power, also she knows too much about his plans and past actions so for him letting her to go free is a no... At some point he will allow that happen but it will be FL choice to stay... and she will do it as she will realise she has feelings for WZ
this is not a nice romance drama - both ML are complicated and judging them from our point of view definitely not good candidates to fall in love but its a historical drama full of fight for power and political schemes and both ML have to survive in that reality, so they are both martial arts masters who are ruthless and goal oriented guys. FL is just a cute country girl who fall off the tree into their hands ;)
One comment said sml has physically forcesd fl..is it watchable?? bcz I can't watch if it's too much when it's…
thats what happened in the novel but he didn't manage to ra.. her as that moment WZ men attacked his manor and kidnapped FL - however no idea about drama
Its actually worse than that. His father produced a deed of indenture to the He family signed by her father. So…
I bet He dad has still access to the old prefecture seals ;) he didn't raise into power doing good deeds... and well - I think his son tell us what kind of person he really is... I won't have problem with him helping to get a revenge for PY father as long as he wouldn't hurt innocent civilians but he has no regards to human lives at all...
Absolute nonsense that PeiYan needs a hard hit on the head
Same here - as long as changes make sense and plot is well written and not ruining the drama - its interesting to watch and compare :) Yeah, Fighting for Love could be such a great story...
Absolute nonsense that PeiYan needs a hard hit on the head
In the novel he is an overprotective type guy who would gladly lock FL in the golden cage... when he will realise that she has lied to him and allied with WZ he will try to force himself on her... He is not used to women saying a no to him... so yes, he is definitely despicable in that matter... He will be also jealous about JC feelings toward CL and ofc WZ... Few years later he will realise that he sacrificed life time love for his political ambitions.
Absolute nonsense that PeiYan needs a hard hit on the head
definitely that's a hint from screenwriters... also that about CL story as in the novel he will meet a girl, they will fall for each other but at the end they won't be able to be together...
Absolute nonsense that PeiYan needs a hard hit on the head
Comparing both male leads characters to the novel ones - screenwriters decided to exploit their bad sides. Like at the very beginning ML hurting FL and trying to kill her 3 times and in last few they are started to show his another side so FL could build up a bond with him and they both could fall in love. For the contrary PY has been portrayed in first few episodes as more upright and definitely less cruel person and now is turning into immoral guy who will do everything to cover up his family dirty business. Pei family didn't have any dirty business in the novel, PY uncle was an upright person, mother didn't planned a rebellion ;) but drama has been made based on the novel so we can expect a lot of changes in the plots. Neither one of them is a villain in the novel - they are not perfect, they are both cruel and ambitious but they have moral backbones and there are things they will do and they won't. They will always put a greater good over their personal gains. One is fighting for his clan freedom - the other one wants a prosperity for his family and country.

First of all she didn't fall in love with SML... she thought he was a good official and gentleman, so yes she was getting attracted by him, but she could see he was using her and with a time he started to show his true colours all the bonding feelings has vanished into thin air...
wait isn't jiangci master from yueluo then why she was fighting against weizhao while wei zhao was fighting from…
there are a lot of changes made vs novel, so hard to predict how everything will unfold... I have a feeling that Su sisters actually were trying to save prince Qi not killing him Emperor distorted a truth and wants to silence them so searching for both for 20 years...

and they thought that was a perfect solution for Ayan... I think all of that is an eye opening case for our FL
At some point he will allow that happen but it will be FL choice to stay... and she will do it as she will realise she has feelings for WZ
