It's not HE but it's a satisfactory one...

They both have to live up to their elders expectations... and they both have a lot of blood on their hands. They are both very scheme but they would not survive even 5 minutes without mastering that skill in that chaotic world they are living in.
I hope drama will be as interesting as novel is.

Its not what some readers woll call HE but from my point of view it is best possible outcome for FL

both ML are extremely ruthless and only take care about their life goals... FL should run away as far as she can and as soon as she can... unfortunately if drama will stay true to novel she will be trapped in their games of thrones for a long time and bullied by both... I am reading a novel actually and I hope she won't fall in love with either of them...

He is alive and Situ will fall for him as she will became his doctor.
They will get married and Situ will get back what was supposed to be hers from the beginning - so the throne of the small country - yes she is a princess.

I think he has no right to intervene in family matters without emperor's order - also they might not expect Imperial Diviner to really kill Jiang Li - her stepmother plan was to send her away for months of exorcisms into his office... and I am sure she would end up in Princess hands that way...

Their daughter was spoiled one by dad :D and due to Duke's position no one even tried to approached her with marriage proposal.... until her 15th birthday, when dad literally make them to send letters and then he turned all off! and ofc Li was furious! ;)

She end up with Lu Ji, so I guess that's why they decided to kill him during the war, or at least it looks like in the OST video, when we can see Duke holding someone in his arms but we can't see the face

So far there was no news about second season and drama is great in my opinion
