OK mom is a piece of work. Even though ML never wanted to be emperor. She is doing everything to push him onto…
well, she is very cunning and determined, so I am not expecting any good deeds on her account...

Yeah, I mean it's still good but not as good. I'm kind of floating through these episodes waiting for better.
that's my thoughts as well - so hopefully someone will rescue her - and on preview CYQ doesn't look wounded, so how the hell he ended in that prison? Either got there by himself with a plan of snatching her ;)
or had been set up by Chen Qi? I bet screenwriters will give us a surprise...

no idea why, but in the preview CYQ is in the prison and Amai get detained for collaboration with enemy - so it has to be some new plot made by screenwriters ;)

Given the revelation in episode 25, it's highly unlikely that FL will end up with ML, which is fine with me, as…
CP in the novel has been only mentioned in messages sent to Amai about situation in the court and there was no plot with him at all...

then I would suggest you to read the original novel as everything runs around Amai there and court is only mentioned…
it is :) and I am still puzzling myself why oh why screenwriters couldn't simply follow up the novel???

Why do I get the feeling FL's family death was provoked by ML's mother or that she was the mastermind, and the…
there is something fishy about it for sure... in the novel Amai's parents were time travellers... and Mr Xu told her they were different from others and after war her parents went to live in seclusion as her father's reforms ideas has been against current governing system... like public schools.

:) why always the ones who looks the most benevolent are turning out to be most cunning? she was quite manipulative…
in the novel due to her manipulation Yi Zhi stays in the capitol and emperor appointed new general to take over Jiangbei army ... and that guy is not good enough to lead, makes a huge mistake and from 80k army only 20k will survive thanks to Amai decisions... and that's a moment when she becomes a leader of Jiangbei army and keep fighting with Beimo invasion
and the reason why princes Shenghua did that was to keep Yi Zhi safe and show emperor that he is a loyal subject and no threat to the throne and only made an army as country was invaded
She has been pulling strings behind the scene for a long time together with PM

there are some great scenes in the novel which are missing in the drama...
imagine that Amai's bodyguard (Mu Bai) during escape from occupied town literally throw her (she was paralised that moment with poisonous neddle) into the arms of Chang Yu Qing? Saying: cath it! He knew they won't be able to escape as his horse was already tired... as well as he noticed that there is clearly something between Amai and CYQ, so was sure she will be safe! and CYQ seeing the rest of Beimo chasing soldiers close to him simply throw her into the weeds in the forest ;) ofc he came back later to save her...

After watching preview of 30ep I am wondering why CYQ end up in Nanxia's prison... until it is a part of his or Beimo plan - no idea what screenwriters are plotting this time :D

I was happy because there was no court and no princess. And now there is.
then I would suggest you to read the original novel as everything runs around Amai there and court is only mentioned few times

I think IQIYi made an express package for the last 6 episodes. I'm still confused with this emperor, wanting to…
He also asked PM to write two edicts - one which is passing throne to Yi Zhi and the other to his grand son (which is kept hidden by PM) and which might be used in the future where Yu'er will be older. Emperor knows that Prince Kang will kill Yu immediately, so I guess he is using Yi Zhi to sort out court and secure the future for his favourite grandson.
also that Beimo guy is actually working for him as a spy in prince Kang mansion

The Marquis Dingnan, Shang Yizhi’s adopted father, under the order of the emperor.
based on the way how screenwriters made plots I guess there will be a bigger reason behind it...

Yes my exact thoughts! I don't think the drooling stroke stricken emperor (great acting!) is the culprit!
it might be actually opposite - I mean, Han Huaicheng could be emperor's friend actually as we don't know who helped him to kill former CP (Yi Zhi's real father) maybe that guy wasn't good even - it is just a one side story we heard from princess Shenghua

I am thinking why would Princess say that she won't allow Amai to enter her family as she is daughter of Han Huaicheng when PM said that ofc Amai can became Yi Zhi's concubine in the future - there has to be more into Amai's parents death in the drama...
I think she just put a blame on Emperor so Amai could take a revenge on him and probably got killed during assassination attempt, ML mother is very cunning and determined person.

What happened to the crown prince, what a plot twist.
they should let them to part away - Amai to have few more battles with Beimo and ofc to meet CYQ and gain war experience and fame...
and ML to get the throne on his own and develop his character
as for now he is like a puppy...

I’m so confused about the CP and why did he have to kill himself? This series has gone off the rails and I’m…
Well, CP killed himself to ensure that no-one would question Yuer's background as only real father could use his life to protect a son - I would say he had more options and really didn't have to do it to deal with Prince Kang - but that's very convenient way to get a rid of CP so our ML could became an emperor
