it's not in the novel. isn't the tunnel only useful if the two sides go to war? with the way things are going I don't think there's going to be a war between the two clans but i can see how the optics of digging a tunnel to transport troops is kinda provocative and damaging to trust. it might just be one of those things that won't get brought up again, but who knows.

Lol no. She rallied the people of Panyi telling them that their cities/clans are united by marriage. So the first time he tried to reject the marriage he only did her wrong, but if he declines to marry her the second time he’d be doing the people wrong. The seal was practically useless if he can’t get the citizens to support him like they do her.

I guess I meant like her amusement towards him clouds her judgement. Love probably wasn't the correct word tbh lol.

lol i feel like the FL is smart but it's twice now she's sorta been caught slacking because of love. The first time she willingly gave the seal to him only for him to kick her out and the second time she didn't see the show he was putting on for his uncles until he asked her to take care of the whole concubine situation. she's a bit love brained IMO.

Their families have beef and he plans to kill her entire family. He doesn't care if she was touched or not, he just wants the seal without having to marry her. That was the plan from the beginning which is why he requested the marriage be held in Panyi instead of Xindu. There's a really cute scene towards the beginning of EP 4 if you don't drop by then lol.

He got her to give him that thing without having to marry her that was the whole plan. So yes, he tricked her which is why she said she misjudged him.

TBH she too was staring into his soul the first time they laid eyes on each other, so much so that she had to snap out of it lmfao.
