I remember a year ago, I was just fangirling along with countless other users. The chemistry was incredible; after every episode, the rating approached 9.0. I never would have expected a drama to plummet so low, both story-wise and morally, in the last two episodes. To this day, I can't really rate this series; the shock, disbelief and disgust are still deeply ingrained.

Well he actually looks like someone who is in his 40s although he is still handsome
Haha yes just like fine wine...
I actually like it that he looks like a real grown up man who stands on his own two feets and knows what he wants in his life. This makes him more attractive than some 16 or 18 baby faced years teenager, so I am glad that he looks like according to his age

What middle finger thing?
Understandable... it is getting out of hand...

Yes I agree, there was no need to keep following the novel... i read recently a bit from the novel and honestly it feels like a completely different story. The ML is so different and the atmosphere is so much more darker (didn't like it tbh)

I think that recently quite a few kdrama endings have been rather weak. This drama is no exception - I really…
I think with the Argan arc they wanted to follow the novel (there were also some references in the first ep when Sa Eon was negotiating with some kidnappers). Maybe there wasn't enough stuff for filling the last ep. But it felt rushed and out of place... they needed therefore at least 14 eps

Hmmm wasn’t the middle finger issue a concern for Koreans? They were the ones that actually had a problem. But…
Well they included it in their drama although it doesn't have anything to do with them. Now it also their problem. It is their business to clarify this scene, especially since it is such a sensitive topic and affects million of people.

You can't touch such a controversial topic and and than stay silent... this is an awful behaviour. Where is the decency, their shame?

Sorry I edited my comment, didn't wanted to attack you personally. No I don't think flooding their pages will change something but at least they will attract attention from the korean media that their insensitive scene even though it might had a good intention hurt the feelings of million people

Lol, MBCs Instagram page and those of the actors are flooded with comments from angry fans. They must live under a rock or have a shitty internet connection to not get that uproar. there are professional PR teams who analyse fans behaviour on social media...

As an avid WTPR fan I am getting more and more disappointed about the silence from the Korean entertainment. People are saying that Korean people hardly care about this minor issue, that it isn't trending on their sites. You remember that ridiculous case about that middle finger thing? MBC and the WTPR production team was so quick to apologise. But now they hardly care after causing such an uproar among international fans who are now fighting about the interpretation of an insensitive and misunderstandable scene. I am sorry but this case doesn't let Koreans and their entertainment media appear in a nice light- in fact it is ignorant and really unemapthic just because it doesn't impact them as an rich, safe stable first world country. We knew that SK is a quite patriotic country but I never expected such an atrocious and ignorant behavior regarding the feeling of other nations. Just like devil may care.

I still love WTPR - the cast was wonderful but it is shocking to know that international fans are apparently for Korean entertainment good for collecting money but they simply sh*t on their feelings, thoughts and opinions.

Hm maybe at this pictures which are highly edited with stark light. In the actual drama you could see all of his pores, wrinkes, eye bags and his gaunt face. No 16 years old looks like that... but yes I agree he looks nevertheless good, his age suits him and makes him more attractive

From which manhwa are you talking about? I thought there is only a novel of WTPR and this doesn't include this disgusting scene?

Well said. ♥️ I don't have any clue why they touched such a sensitive topic, especially since the screenwriter usually writes romance stuff and apparently in the original novel there isn't such a scene. I smell some kind of conspiracy... even if they wanted to support Palestine (some say it is wrongly translated) it feels like a mocking of all those massacred children, woman and men in Gaza. It is an ongoing trauma for Million of people worldwide since a year. Korean citizens would have cried if someone would have made inappropriate comments about their past with japan or the latest jeju crash. I am seriously disgusted.

In my opinion Taiwanese acting is much better than Chinese and seems more natural. I like ml's acting the most…
Yes acting is better and also the selection of the actors. Taiwanese actors often look like normal grown ups while Chinese entertainment usually choose actors who are 20 or something, often way too young and too skinny, their dramas often seem to be childish and without depths. I am no longer a student it is always nice to see actually grown up in their 30s.

No it is not clarified, some kind users translated it but always emphasized that Korean is complicated and easily mistranslated. As long as there is no clarification from the official site people will keep fighting about the interpretation.

Someone mentioned they wore black during the MBC awards for the victims in the jeju crash.... this makes the latest debacle in the last ep of WTPR even more appalling. Knetizens would have cried if someone would have make weird/unclear/inappropriate/misunderstandable reference to the jeju crash but for victims of other nations in an ongoing genocide apparently it is ok. I hope the responsible person who decided to include such an unnecessary scene gets fired.

I am happy for Chae Soo Bin and Yoo Yeon Seok for their recognition but it sickening how superficial and shallow kdramas can be
