I'm aware of this in C-Ent.. but this feels very negatively directed at someone in particular and specific. implying that they themselves (rather than an agency) have done something awful and are stepping on him specifically. Without any other information.

All I'm saying is, you're asking for these kinds of questions from people by throwing shade at his other FL's. People are going to wonder what you're referring too and who. Though I'm sure they can guess, cos it isn't subtle, at all. 🤣He's only had a handful of FL's. Which, as Micha said, just invites drama.

She did die in the novel. She takes part in a Huntington's Drug trial and unfortunately dies as a result from it and then donates her body to science so they can continue to look for a cure.
I don't remember a love triangle.... but it's been a very long time since I read it.

Whether they have that exact ending in the drama, I don't know.

yeah. Like, I like fluff and a good rom-com as much as the next person if it's done well. But that particular trailer just didn't hit me the way I wanted it to for whatever reason. I also suspected that it wasn't showcasing everything anyway, there was no way the angst wasn't coming....

They never end up working for me 😅 and the one time it did, it didn't have subtitles which renders it kind of pointless if you dont speak the language.

I think they will too. (or at least I hope they will, for those who can't get the app) I know they have with other dramas. Don't see why they wouldn't with this one....

I personally doubt they will find the cure. Perhaps, if they decide against full tragedy, it might end up with them with hope and still searching to find a cure. But I really doubt they will actually cure Huntington's in this. (they didn't in the novel it's based on)

Yeah, for some regions. I recommended to a person that Viki may get it at some point. But I don't think it's available in my region on Viki (thankfully, Youku international app is available where I am so I'll be watching there) but there might be some people who don't have access to Youku and don't have it in their region on Viki either (nor access to CCTV) in which case, i'm not sure it matters at that point. Either they don't watch at all, because they don't have access to it in any way, or they watch it through other means, either way their view is not going to count towards anything.

I agree that people should watch from the official platforms if they have the ability to. I know I do and will because I can. But not everyone has access to them. For example the Youku International app is not available to download at all from the app store in some places. Which really sucks for them if that is the only place that has it....

Youku international app (or Chinese App) Youku may also release episodes for free on their youtube channel but it may be just 1 episode a day for non VIP's

Viki may end up getting it, and websites like Kisskh.co may also end up uploading episodes after their drop.

I definitely see a little bit of that. They're both very pretty.

There are a few big misunderstandings about mid way through. But mainly it's intentional active lying and deception (for various reasons) Which is kind of different than a misunderstanding imo. Which is not everyone's cup of tea. But I loved it.

It does.the ending is sad but very fitting. It's definitely a drama that a happy ending would not have made any sense for. (Though it does have extra special episodes of the characters reincarnated in modern times and they get a HE there. and some take that as canon)

I think lost you forever is definitely a good option to try.

34 episodes apparently. A few episodes have been cut unfortunately.
I guess it's expected considering the nature of the disease. As soon as I read that she had HD when the show started filming, I began preparing myself for the likelihood of how it was going to end. A bittersweet ending that is filled with hope, while still sad, is actually a happier ending than I was ever expecting (if that is how it ends).

That being said, i'm not always opposed to tragic endings if done well.

I don't see how he can, unless they decide to have him cure a real fatal disease. (throwing all realism out the window haha) I'm not sure I can see that happening. If they decide against full tragedy, a bittersweet ending where they know Huntington's will kill her one day but they continue to look for a cure anyway seems more likely.
