True, Yuan Shuai got off real easy compared to some of his other characters. 😂

The make up was definitely fairly prominent at times in tteotm, but I didn't have a problem with it (most of the time anyway) But then again I quite like men in makeup sometimes 🤭

I had way more of a problem with the filters than the makeup to be honest. Way too strong in some scenes. Drama's need to chill with those filters...😂

I think they must have forgot the scene where he kneels in front of Jiang Jun's mother asking for forgiveness before she makes him drink all that wine. haha 😂

At least there was no snow in that scene. Just a lot of wine. lol

"Or isnt that public?" of course it wouldn't be public and this person would know that because if it was public the man likely wouldn't have a career. (Unfortunately. and I hate that it is like that, it shouldn't be, but there is a reason people in C-ent don't come out) So maybe he is gay, or maybe he isn't. But given the situation I agree, you shouldn't out someone(like ever...) but especially when speculation alone can affect their lives and career so negatively.

Yes. That was the confession lol. She didnt want to kiss him because she was afraid that in kissing him she would accidentally let him into her dreams. It was an analogy for saying she is afraid in kissing him she would let him into her heart and fall in love with him. And he is not "suitable" for a girl to be dreaming about. She already had some feelings there but as she knows its a doomed notion to even daydream about, she'd rather not risk her heart. (Why bring more pain on yourself?) Yang Zi basically said it best... it's not a matter of whether they love each other it's just that they know they cant ever be together.
So it was a confession of feelings though not necessarily love just yet. Which is why he looked happy and emotional for a few seconds. Bittersweet smile before turning cold again because thats how Xiang Liu deals with most things. Lol. Best to be cold to her lest he "accidentally enters her dreams" by being too kind.

The confession to XL on the beach happened in episode 19.

It's a shame that they overshadowed the leads so much, because they don't have nearly enough screen time. I can't wait to see Liu Yuning as the male lead. A Journey to Love and Prisoner of Beauty both look so good.

I have literally heard no rumours about any upcoming dramas for Youku. Except for Love is Panacea and that was for September/October. (seeing as they don't even have a distribution licence yet, who knows if that'll even happen) Other than that. Nothing.

Liu Yuning's character and Zhao Lusi's character. I loved Hao Du and Leyan's relationship much more.

I guess it depends on the translation. I've read one that has "it wasnt me you had in your eyes back there" and one that said "you didnt have me in your eyes back there". But regardless I think the implications are exactly the same. She was thinking about Xiang Liu/FFB then grabs Jing and goes to the bottom of the pool and recreates something that happened with Xiang Liu in a previous scene. That was what I believe it was referring to. Jing could sense that she was thinking of something/someone else in that moment. Otherwise why would the writer add in that she was thinking about Xiang Liu right before it happened.

So yes I believe this is what they must have been referring too when they mentioned a "cut scene". Because they didn't include it in the drama. (As of yet anyway...)

There is a scene in the novel where she is thinking about Xiang Liu and Fang Feng Bei and then she takes Jing down into the water and tries to recreate the "CPR" kiss. He refuses. And when they resurface she angrily asks him why and Jing replies "it wasn't me in your eyes back there" perhaps that's what it's referring to?
