The ending is so meaningful, I loved it. Neither it’s tragic nor happy, it’s the best ending for Tang Lici (and Ye Mo), they both were able to free themselves and found peace.

Ye Mo had cosplayed many roles just to be with TLC and he actually protected TLC all around the drama.

"Master, I actually like you very much" this line was cut out of the drama for all the reasons you know🤭

Master! you’re not alone! Master! we’ll be together forever! Ye Mo must have enjoyed being Xiao Shi so much😏

Ye Mo, if you have a choice, would you like to be Yique Yin Yang or Xiao Shi?

Celestial realm suffered from the most cuts, Tangjia’s half backstory was removed, Bai Nanzhu was removed, Garuda as the another avatar of Ye Mo was removed.

Still better than how Rong Qi ended in princess silver.

That’s your perspective, many loved the ending and I too loved it, and I didn’t feel traumatized but a sense of liberation. Understanding Tang Lici and his life, if I were in his shoes, I would have made the same choice, willing to disappear to give my loved ones another chance in life.

Being gone beyond the superficial, having no obsessions. Without a sense of self, without a sense of person; to be detached of all living things and detached of the sense of time💜

It’s mostly the CP fans and the fans of actress with the same repetitive arguments. Well if you care for female characters this much then do yourself a favour and don’t watch male centric dramas.

Yesterday I was too emotional and just realised that they actually cut out Ye Mo’s confession to Tang Lici😭

"Master, I actually like you very much", I knew it would never make it to the final cut but still😭

And they deleted the entire character of Bai Nanzhu huh? What were they afraid of? Showing a son killing his father? Or a father being obsessed with his son’s body? The tension between Ye Mo and Bai Nanzhu over Tangjia was one of my faves but it’s all gone!!😭

This ending is the original ending that was decided when filming of the drama wrapped up. The ending later had been revised for twelve times but in the end, only the original ending made it to the drama.

I appreciate the screenwriter for writing this ending and creators of this drama to choose this ending despite knowing the massive criticism they would receive. Thank you for taking this risk of sticking with the original conclusion, and not just please the audience. Audience can come and go but the drama remains forever. Today the audience hates it but one day there will be audience who truly appreciate it.

Shui Long Yin is Shui Long Yin and will never be the drama you want it to be. Nobody force anyone to watch it, you all came to it by yourself. “The wind blows the tiles on the roof, and a tile falls and hits my head, is it the wind’s fault, tile’s fault or my fault for standing beneath the roof?”

Burning himself to illuminate all living beings, and silently protecting this world as a fox-dragon, it is worth it. Whether others hate or love him, remembers him or not, it doesn’t matter to him. It’s all his choice.

A Shui fans are clamoring that the screenwriter hates women and heterosexual romance. Isn’t that ridiculous? First of all, SLY is a Big ML drama dominated by male characters, with no female lead. It never had any official pairing and romance in the first place. Secondly, which male × male CP got a happy ending in it? Have they never watched anything with time-loop themes? This is the best conclusion the drama could ever come up with.

Ajibaner Tangjia, Tang Lici or A Li, that world may have forgotten you but you will live in our memories forever.

For Tang Lici, the most painful thing was not the day Fang Zhou left this world, but every day after that when Fang Zhou was not in this world.

Four years have passed, and the world has been up and down, but A Li’s world has stopped at that moment only.

1. Fengfeng is an orphan child TLC picked him up to understand what it felt like to raise a child just like how Fang Zhou picked TLC up. TLC later entrusted Fengfeng to the abbot where he bids farewell to the abbot and gives the wooden doll. The scenes has been added in Ep1-2.

2. Rebirth scroll is not evil but it’s considered evil because of its negative vibrations and considered a taboo amongst mortals because of Yique Yin Yang. The one who uses this technique usually ends up getting consumed by greed and start losing their senses and goes on a path of utter madness and destruction. Just like a sword can harm but can also protect. It brings destruction but in the right hands, it flourishes.

3. The reason why Fang Zhou agreed to practice the Rebirth scroll was to prove to Tang Lici that people who possess the Rebirth scroll aren’t all monsters.

4. Because it is considered a taboo, they wouldn’t have allowed Fang Zhou to practice it if they were to know.

Bai Nanzhu is the creator of both TLC and Ye Mo, he is the one who confined TLC and kept gaslighting TLC into sacrificing himself. The one with the white hair in celestial realm played by Jason Wang. The biggest difference between Ye Mo and Bai Nanzhu is that Ye Mo would sacrifice himself for TLC whereas Bai Nanzhu wants TLC to sacrifice himself for him.

Right, Liu Yan would give rebirth scroll back to TLC in that scene only and TLC would be invincible.

"I have lost everything in this life, but A Li, you must win, and win back my share too" very heart breaking scene between them, and that’s what drive TLC to do what he should do. Their deaths in order; Liu Yan, Gui Mudan, Ye Mo, Bai Nanzhu.
