Tang Lici thanking Gui Mudan for letting him meet his mother.
Meanwhile Gui Mudan admiring Tang Lici’s body; AHHH what a complete perfect body with all sorts of emotions! This body will be mine now! We will become one!
If Ye Mo were to given the time machine that Tang Lici created in Ep40, he would turn the time to the very beginning and also play the role of Tang Lici’s father, Fang Zhou... and everyone around Tang Lici.
A golden winged bird that feeds on a dragon, it’s a female character played by male actor, I have added more info about him in the discussion above- WOF worldview.
Whispers Of Fate is on another level of complicated. The drama will start off seemingly really simple, looking like just another wuxia xuanhuan drama that you would wonder what’s so great about it— but you'll know soon. Then you would feel like you got hit by a truck.. Complications will pile up and go on for loops on end. Until you simultaneously know and don't know the fuck anymore.
Would like to add some more points here;On December 20, 2022, news broke that Qian Jie Mei was going to be adapted…
The user also stopped watching at Ep21, it seems like the user really loves forming theories based on scenes from here and there, she did that before the airing and she is still doing that after the airing. Also she is clearly salty of Chen Yao/Xifang tao, it was already confirmed through her comments on TTEOTM page and on this page. I heard Zhang Linghe has a new drama (Male-centric) with Lin Yun, so she should really spend her precious time over there. We Lsfs, are still saint compared to what his mainland fanbase actually is~ ah cursing his co-stars at the filming sites... Good luck to Lin Yun!

Teng ping started QJM in 2009, Ergen also started Renegade Immortal in 2009, Ergen is a big fan of 'Record of Mortal’s journey to Immortality' novel and had expressed RI is inspired from RMJI.
The script for SLY was written in 2022, RI donghua is a seven year project (2023-2030). Currently RI has total 117 episodes, it airs a new episode every sunday and was first aired in Sept 2023. Can you imagine just how pointless this argument actually is? See its initial episodes and how horrendous the CGI actually is there, the CGI only got improved around the mortal arc which is 50+ episodes. Also how could one compare a donghua with a drama? Also, I would like to raise a point that TP copied from the SLY screenplay to finish off QJM as soon as possible. The last few chapters of this novel makes no sense at all from the viewpoint of QJM’s world building and characterizations and are lost in an abyss. The sudden turn of events for A Shui, her with Gui Mudan out of blue, Fengfeng not being her child, Gui Mudan confronting Tang Lici and calling him 'Master', A Shui choosing 'mutual destruction' which was chosen by Xifang tao in SLY, Shui Duopo clearly said there is no chance for Tang Lici’s survival but Tang Lici digging Fang Zhou’s heart out, letting him go in order to save others and still survived while everyone else died... All of these came from the SLY screenplay.
I am so sorry that you are going through this because of this weido freak, JKL008/Sdsds/CloudEclipse... are all a same user with their outdated arguments of 'Persian carpet' and 'RI', creating troubles since the April of this year. I call this user as my 'obsessive lover' just the way Liu Yan is obsessed with Tang Lici😂
And this user A_cappucino_gal has been on LYX’s every drama page since 2023 uttering nonsense everywhere. A Shui/Lin Yun fan who was a TTEOTM fan or I say a YunLu shipper back in 2023. It’s not just SLY page, she had made disgraceful remarks on LYX with other shippers on TTEOTM page and has been promoting SLY as romance since then only. It’s a pity we cannot send screenshots on MDL, you would be stunned seeing her shameless replies there. Initially she was happy with SLY having no romance when this page was just created and out of her curiosity she started reading QJM and it all went wrong with her brain cells. Later she got into arguments with Kwanto, Mermaid and other Lsfs, and started shading his fanbase (both global and Mainland), which all blew up in Lsfs community, particularly with Lingyun, to whom she said "Viewers would love to see A Shui punishing Tang Lici with Heavenly Lightning" which became a joke on weibo in Feb of this year🤣. Lingyun also claimed she reported her out of MDL. Honestly, she should build a temple for SLY rather than downgrading it, because it’s SLY why she started QJM and became A Shui/Lin Yun fan, and it’s LYX why she started following SLY in the first place. At the end of the day, Lsfs work hard but LYX’s haters work harder.
Thank you for the review! Great Review! Also I would like recommend "Till the end of the moon" to you if you want to see a full scale large battle scene lasting for an entire episode. Luo Yunxi played four characters there, I loved Ming Ye the most.
I understand there is frustration at how certain female characters were portrayed. There is no romance tag for…
Would like to add some more points here;
On December 20, 2022, news broke that Qian Jie Mei was going to be adapted into a TV series led by Luo Yunxi (the rights were sold in Sept).
Before taking the break in 2019, the author had abandoned the novel for over ten years + the author personally said in an interview that why did she even write these characters (QJM) and gave them nicknames, a clear dislike towards her own creation + Teng Ping allowed her other novel's adaptation, Cheng Yi's Mysterious Lotus Casebook, to directly plagiarize Qian Jie Mei. She didn't speak up about it at all. Lotus Casebook drama has plot and relationships that never existed in its source novel, but existed in QJM.
Starting March 20, 2023, news began circulating widely that a TV series adaptation of "Qian Jie Mei" was going to be filmed. And started filming in December, 2023.
QJM began to fill in the gaps.
Shui Long Yin wrapped filming on April, 2024.
Qian Jie Mei was completed on December 12, 2024, the novel was supposed to have 8Vol but somehow was forced to be finished in 6Vol.
The world building in Renegade Immortal is what I liked the most and it’s nothing like the one in Whispers Of Fate. Having read all the 2k+ chapters, I can say that to those keep comparing Whispers Of Fate to Renegade Immortal are just looking like a laughing stock.
Wang Lin had a harem; he had three wives; Li Muwan, Mu Bingmei, Li Qianmei. And had a child with Liu Mei (One of the nine avatars of Mu Bingmei). Can you say that Tang Lici has three wives? Can you say that those three wives of Tang Lici are Zhong Chunji, Xifang tao and A Shui? Because Xifang tao certainly reminds me of Liu Mei.
Let along that, Wang Lin is ruthless as hell, one of the most anti-hero main protagonist. He made several of his clones and his methods for revenge and killing others were too terrifying. He slaughtered hundreds and thousands for his own level-up in cultivation. He slaughtered an entire bloodline and hanged the heads on a cross that was hanging behind him as he flew around with. Killed millions of people and made a mountain of them. He simply didn’t care as long as he could capture and manipulate others into getting what he wants. Can you compare him to Tang Lici?
There is a post about 'Whispers Of Fate- what is the meaning of life'. Will soon update it with the worldview and other details that were not shown in the drama :)
The ultimate question 'Whispers Of Fate' wants to explore is—what is the meaning of life?
The exchange between Tang Lici and Zhong Chunji in Ep37 is probably one of the most philosophical parts and one of my faves. This part is so brilliantly executed and also the overall look of Tang Lici and Zhong Chunji are in perfectly alignment with their current state of minds.
The audience could no longer understand Zhong Chunji, but Tang Lici understands her.
“I understand that you meant well, though I didn’t need this goodness, but I understand you, I even know that while you seem to have hurt me, you have hurt yourself too.”
Everything is a combination of causes and effects, a single thought triggering an inner demon. The scene also connected to the exchange between Tang Lici and the Abbott in Ep1, [The wind blows the tiles on the roof.] People become obsessed because of the beauty of flowers. Blame the flower? Blame the person? It's meaningless. The past is gone. Right and wrong, it doesn’t matter. They all get buried with the passing of time and leave quietly with no trace.
The beauty of this flower lies in the fact that it refers to both Tang Lici and Zhong Chunji, and also to the idea that all beings are not truly themselves. At first, Tang Lici says the flower is fleeting, but Zhong Chunji says that even a brief bloom is better than no bloom (referring to her becoming a fake princess), thus urging the flower to bloom. When the flower blooms, poisonous insects fly out. Tang Lici says that no matter how beautiful, if the flower’s heart is poisonous (acting based on desire), poisonous insects will also fly out.
Later, he says, "This flower blooms on its own, and some people find it beautiful and like it, which breeds resentment. Is it the flower’s fault? Is it people’s fault?" (Here, the flower refers to himself.) But actually, this seemingly "poisonous" flower is also beautiful, and someone will always appreciate it. Why cling to the past? As long as it blooms beautifully, someone will like it. (Here, the flower again refers to Zhong Chunji).
Meanwhile Gui Mudan admiring Tang Lici’s body; AHHH what a complete perfect body with all sorts of emotions! This body will be mine now! We will become one!

If one is destined to be a sacrifice from birth, if countless struggles, setbacks, destructions, and restarts cannot change one's predetermined fate, then does such a life have any meaning? And what should its meaning be?
