They have infused the concept of Fox dragon in the final scene; The Fox dragon comes from Records of the Taiping Era (太平广记:奇事记), a collection of mostly supernatural short stories. The white fox often came down Mt. Li and caused havoc in ordinary people’s lives. One day while washing in the lake, it transformed into a dragon and flew towards Heaven, protecting the world silently.

Regarding the three pills, Tang Lici used the first one when Shui Duopo made them, that’s how his hair turned back to dual colour. He used the second one while fighting with Tuolong in Bodhi valley to protect the ice-coffin. As for the third one, after the Heart Crystal was taken out. A Shui hid the third pill away from Tang Lici (but also didn’t give it to Gui Mudan) Gui Mudan crushed the fake pill and that’s the reason why Tang Lici was imprisoned by Gui Mudan in Piaoling Meiyuan.

Months before the airing of the drama, I said that same, Fang Zhou is Tang Lici’s white moonlight and nobody believed me🤣 now since LYX is saying the same, they all have to believe it.

The antagonist likes the protagonist, and before taking his last breath he thanked and confessed this to Tang Lici. There is not any clip, it was written in the script and if you watch it till the end, you would have an idea that he has a thing for Tang Lici.

I cried the entire time watching their scenes. Also, Tang Lici’s mother loving him unconditionally and is his salvation is a big slap to QJM.

A villain yearning for freedom, I liked how she also got to achieve she yearned for, her final choice of mutual destruction was also a freedom for her.

She got the best closure amongst the female characters.

Only Ye Mo deserves TLC🔥
