For the courageous ones who have watched the first 6 episodes, is it worth watching it? I love youth dramas, not so much Healing dramas, unless it's mixed well (I loved Flourish in time, which had a physically handicapped ML), is the FL better than in the first episode?

Edited to say: at first, I thought the mother might be sick and was going away to try a new medical treatment. But when she was at the airport, talking to her daughter on the phone, she was under that huge banner which said "LIBRE". Which means "Free", in french. Hmmmm....

So let's say goodbye to traditions like Mardi Gras or costume parties.

I'm french, for those of you who would want to wear a beret and a baguette at a costume party, just know that even though it's cliché, I would find it funny (because I hope I still have a sense of humor) and wouldn't attack people on the net for doing so.

Same if you want to participate in a Napoleon recreation camp. I wouldn't attack you for appropriating my country's history. Just have fun recreating this past. Life is too short to not have fun, especially if we are lucky enough to live in countries which aren't at war.

The character is SUPPOSED to have that bad hair style. He isn't a wealthy boy, he works in a shop as a teen, and doesn't speak like someone from a nice part of town.

He probably loves afro-american culture and tries to copy it as an hommage but he isn't a hair dresser and doesn't have the money to go to one. Hence the bad result, which in the end, he cut because, yeah, it was bad. He was ridiculous. And it was time to go back to school anyway so he had to cut it.

Please, stop this cultural appropration insanity. Soon it will be impossible to dress how we want, or style our hair how we want (even when it's badly done), or it will be the end of Mardi Gras, or costume parties. Are we slowly turning into North Korea?

Where will it end??? Don't wear a french beret, that's cultural appropriation? Don't wear a kimono if you're not japanese, that's cultural appropriation? It's become impossible to show our love of a culture without being called all kind of names under the sun.

I'm not offended if some people try to speak french, even badly, because they want to show their love for my language and my country.

Or if french are depicted as villains in movies or tv shows.

People in the western world are way too sensitive for trivial things. I personally reserve my anger and emotivity for the poor women in Ukraine who are being raped by russian soldiers. Or for the armenians who are being genocided again via starvation and their enemy blocking not only food but also fuel and medication to reach them.

There are worse things in this world to be angry about and to fight than this cultural appropriation non sense.

PS: it's funny how people on this topic or others on MDL critics netizens for how they behave with actors or dramas, aka superficial stuff, when they aren't that great themselves on other unimportant subjects. The irony!

Which country or ethnicity did the character steal from? Dreadlocks were worn by ancient greeks and also by my ancestors, the Gauls (aka France in the past) so I'm wondering if, as a french, I need to yell "cultural appropriation" or not?

But yeah, it didn't look good on the actor.

Apart from that, I just saw the first episode. Bad subtitles, but that was to be expected. But the story is understandable. I found the main actor to be good (I just saw him in WIFTW where he was rather passive and almost dead in the eyes but the character was kind of like that) but here, he shows that he can act.

The main actress... sigh, I'm not feeling her so far. Maybe it will get better but she doesn't seem to be charismatic. It makes me wonder what other "cute but not beautiful actress" (like Weng Peng) would have done with the role.

I'll give her a chance, though, maybe she will get better in the next episodes.

God I hope so, this is my most anticipated drama lately. I'm getting easily bored of Cdramas but this one seems captivating. And the latest one I loved was "when I fly towards you", with the same actor so I have hope it's going to be good.

So yeah, I hope this is the right date.

Oh, no, three more weeks??? I hate how Cdramas can drop out of the blue or be canceled because of actors or airing dates be changed at the last minute!

Oh, no, I was waiting for that one to watch during my holidays! I hope this date is the definitive one. No bad surprise on the 8th of august.

I posted a few weeks ago that everytime I come on this topic to have news, there's a change in cast and bingo, now it's Wang Chu Ran in the league for the FL? Isn't she the one in that drama with Yang Yang? Not too sure about her in that case.

I wonder if whatever happened to everyone in their first lives wasn't supposed to be solved in their 18th lives (well, if they have the same number of lives as the FL).

When you think about it, all the main protagonists were reincarnated around the same time, in the same country, and were supposed know each other and to grow up together. It couldn't have been a coincidence.

But the cosmic plan was derailed by the accident/murder. To correct that, the FL was reincarnated just after her death so that she could still... be around the same age of all the characters she was supposed to evolve with in her 18th life.

What's Do Yoon's role in their first lives? He was there, too, right?

Hmm, why do I have this feeling that amnesia is involved to resolve this mess? Either the FL will be... brainwashed into forgetting her past lives, or the ones she has known in her past lives will forget.

I don't come here every day or week, maybe once a month and everytime, there's a change of cast, that's crazy.

Although SWL sounds like a good casting choice. He seems to match the description of the novel, and he is quite good. And apparently, his drama "Bionic" will air in august, in a different genre than the romantic one so that should show his acting abilities.

Wait and see. But do we know when this drama is supposed to start shooting?

Okay, and who destroyed Europe during WWII ? Germany, so does that mean that it's okay to rape german women? And should japanese rape american women as a revenge for Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

There are so many things to be ranting about in the world, like slavery still happening, child trafficking on the planet and god knows what else and this is what you choose to be angry about, to threaten boycotting about? Also, in Cologne in 2015 or 2016, arabs refugees/illegals drank for the new year and sexually assaulted near 1 000 women in this German city and it happened in other german cities. It was such a scandal because the medias tried to hide the agressions because the arabs are the minority in Europe and therefore high on the victim hierarchy. But hey, so much for arab not drinking and touching women.

Yeah, I wonder the same thing, why does she remember? Are there other people who remember their past lives? Is there a purpose for remembering or is that a curse for... I don't know, a crime committed in the very first life? I mean, remembering how you die, how you lived, remembering all those persons you've loved and lost, that's not easy.

Is there an answer to that question in the webtoon?

It was. Because of the age difference, they had to fight my mother's mother and they went through tough time (they lost a baby, my sister was born mentally handicapped and my mother got sick at 29 from a very rare disease she died from at 37). Despite their age gap, their love was true and strong. My mother passed away 40 years ago. So strange to think how long it's been.

But love can be very strong despite the age gap. I wish people would start thinking about the personalities, who the persons are, how they behave, rather than get stuck on numbers. As I said, as long as the two characters are of legal age and it's a loving and consensual relationship, then I have no problem with these dramas.
