One suspence was not revealed in the end of the last episode, means who's was an other man who used bansri when…
What's a bansri? Edit: googled it, I think you meant bansuri. Interesting. It says it's a bamboo flute from an Indian origin. To be technically correct, the instrument in this drama is called a dizi. I think it was revealed that Jin Guangyao was the one manipulating Wei Wuxian's orders on Chenqing. Wangxian speculated this during the snow scene of Ep 43 and if I remember correctly Jin Guangyao admitted to everything during the last 2 episodes right?
Aha still on ep 28, slooowly getting through this drama. I have to say 27 was my favorite episode so far. I liked the parallel where Ma Zhaixing wants back her Lang Zai, but Lang Zai is already dead and replaced by Prince Bo. In turn, Ji Chong wants back his carefree, happy, naive Zhaixing, but that Zhaixing is already dead and replaced with this "darkened" once. I like these character developments. Zhaixing in a way sacrificed her carefree relationship with Lang Zai to learn how to accept Prince Bo only to have him break her heart, while Ji Chong sacrificed his carefree lifestyle for happy Zhaixing only to have this newly transformed Zhaixing break his heart in the future. And Prince Bo, he is well, just the most pitiful character. But because I personally dislike his character setup, I can only sympathize with him but cannot empathize with him.
Lol does anyone know why Yu Lao (the old guy by the Xi Mo river) has an accent? If you don't understand Chinese you probably can't hear it, but it's very obvious to me and I wonder why. He's the only one with an accent. Just for comedy effects? I didn't read the novel so idk his background info. Btw I don't care what other people are saying but I love the fighting so far! I think the action scenes are done really nicely (i'm only on ep 3 so far tho). I especially loved the scene where Li Jin Rong was teaching Zhou Fei the moves for the Po Xue Dao technique (not sure how it's translated). The choreo was so graceful!
Sorry but I don't understand what the fuss all about, I really tried to like this drama but couldn't . I gave…
"What has drama become , Miss beauty and Mr. handsome drama or has it becoming to be like kpop scenario" Me: ????? Edit: I just cannot wrap my head around how The Untamed can be compared to Kpop...Not liking it is one thing, but comparing it to Kpop is a whole other thing (is it even a thing?) Idk maybe this will help? https://kisskh.at/discussions/the-untamed/57363-the-untamed-faq All the currently watching dramas on your list are rated 1 by you except for Guardians of the Ancient Oath which you rated 10. Not trying to judge you at all, btw, it's just that I cannot gather useful enough information from your list to come to any useful feedback lol
Just came to say that Yao Ji's outfits and makeup look so stunning. I love her character too! I think she may be my favorite "villain" sort of character I've seen thus far.
It's Saturday. Which means a new HoB episode in the morning!
Yes same here! I also just realized that out of everything I've ever watched, The Untamed, HOB animation, and The Wolf all have opening osts that I just am unable to skip LOL
When i try to say my impressions about Untamed they come with 7 stones in the hand just because it's a negative…
"why should i not hate you?" is there any other way I should be understanding this? Edit: no I will not be having a nice day after someone just called me out on "understanding problems" when it clearly is not my problem

Why should you hate this user? Was this user one of those that you encountered that "came at you with 7 stones"? Just because they like The Untamed, you have to hate all of us? Just based on your conversation with a small fraction of The Untamed fans? Before you start hating me too, just sayin I wasn't part of that conversation either. Just wanted to speak up because your comment didn't make much sense to me
I ask all of you to please, don't get upset over ratings. They're just ratings. Just because the ratings are low…
Preach. Also like everyone can we just not pile up the comments section with comments about ratings...? What are new users coming to this page purely to discuss this drama going to think :(
MDL gives the opportunity to check the accounts of the people who recently rated the drama... And here are the…
That one "discussion" with a IOTNBO fan on this page is still etched in my memory And agreed with @moonchild, let's just not take MDL ratings too seriously lol Edit: I think I may have remembered wrong. It was a TKEM fan
Ok so I've just watched the first episode. This is also my first historical chinese drama as well. I really want…
What makes it special: Everything
Jk (but not really). If I were to summarize what I personally think (I emphasize that this is only my opinion and everyone has a different story) makes this drama so special is despite the unrealistic world that it takes place in, literally all of the important characters are so relatable, and you can learn so many valuable life lessons, and ultimately I daresay this drama has made me want to become a better person. How inspiring is that lol. I can't say that for any other drama. You're new to xianxia Cdramas, but not new to dramas in general, so I'd say you have enough experience to have the patience to finish this drama :) It's not important to understand everything right off the bat, that's the point of the first two episodes, they are meant to leave you confused and want to learn the whole story.
"What's the phenomenon of this drama and also other chinese historical dramas" is not a good question because historical/xianxia/wuxia Cdramas cannot all be described by one phenomenon. They are all separate works. I guess if I really were to pick something in common, it would be that they all take place in a setting based off of ancient China...and most of the time people know how to fight... lol not a good answer right.
Similarly I would like to genuinely know (not just from you but if anyone can answer for me): what's the phenomenon of all high rated Kdramas? I don't think there is a definite answer because someone will likely answer me that all Kdramas are unique and should not be compared. Same goes with Cdramas.
Great acting, but complete garbage trope filled writing. I say the 8 rating is pretty accurate.
Lmao "Great acting, but complete garbage trope filled writing" is kinda how I'm feeling too. But I'm only on episode 13 so I'll reserve more judgement for when I finish
