The actual BTS footage is only released on Weibo or Oasis (the Chinese version of Instagram) and the releasors don't allow sharing of them to any other platforms (although people still do it anyway). Unless you find reposted versions elsewhere, those are the only places you will find them. Although there might possibly be translated text versions but I haven't found any ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So fyi to anyone who is seeing them outside Weibo or Oasis, you are seeing a stolen copy js
What happned to the curse ww transfered to his body from his sisters son body?i havnt seen anything related to…
In Ep 35 Wei Wuxian mentioned that he would clean off the trace by himself so I just assume it's a cultivator thing and didn't question exactly how it was done.
In Ep 34 Wei Wuxian says "In one's lifetime, one must learn to say two phrases: thank you and I'm sorry. You will say them while crying someday". This is one of the most powerful lines in the whole drama and to me it alludes back to that scene when Wen Qing paralyzed Wei Wuxian and those were the last things that she said to him before she turned herself in to the Jin Clan. And if you remember, she was saying them while crying. So in a way, the "climax" you were expecting already happened. So I think in this scene Wei Wuxian was just trying to teach Jin Ling an important life lesson that he was forced to learn and had a big impact on him.
You say you were disappointed when Jiang Cheng didn't invite Wei Wuxian to Lotus Pier but which scene were you referring to?
i watched the first episode 2 months ago, but i didn't understand anything because it was all about names and…
I mean I don't know any other drama that doesn't start off without giving a bunch of names, especially if it's fantasy historical like this one. They gotta give us the names so we know who/what to refer to right? I looked through your BL list and saw that it's all contemporary stuff, so I guess it may be hard to get into something like this. As for the visual effects, yea I understand that, but maybe try to focus on the plot and not surface-level stuff and maaaaaybe you'll get into it more? (I'm not being sarcastic, just genuine suggestions)
I assume since it's The Untamed page that there's only one book that's relevant ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but yea HOB gets mentioned a lot here too. Yes yes good share of laughs :)
"CCTV drama just included The Untamed into their ranking of most beautiful snow scenes“ https://twitter.com/Lunar_Zone/status/1325092560122114048?s=19
I hate to ruin the fun but I just can't stand inaccurate translations. Just fyi so that people don't get misled...the post didn't mention anything about a ranking of any sort, it's just saying something like "hey it's 立冬 (first day of winter on the lunar calendar), let's celebrate by reminiscing on these beautiful snow scenes!" But "that's some awesome recognition" I totally agree with
Oh wow a whole new take on "You are worthy of being called Wei Ying". https://lanwuxianz.tumblr.com/post/633526600081752064/rinielle-happy-birthday-wei-wuxian-lan-zhan
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to rant about this... Y'all don't know how disturbed I was by this translation in that scene because urrrg it just didn't make sense to me??
Wei Wuxian: Lan Zhan, you truly deserve your title, Hanguang Jun Lan Wangji: And you too, Wei Ying
Firstly, I think they should have added " " around "Hanguang Jun". Otherwise, this line was translated fine. But secondly, the line "and you too, Wei Ying" is like whaat? Way too vague in my opinion. To me the translated line conveys the meaning: And you too, Wei Ying While it should have conveyed the meaning: And you too, "Wei Ying" (note the important " " difference) In the first version, it sounds like Lan Wangji is just replying to Wei Wuxian's remark by saying "And you truly deserve your title too, Wei Ying", with the "Wei Ying" at the end just an indication that Lan Wangji is talking to him and just calling his name. BUT what Lan Wangji was really trying to say was: "And you truly deserve to be called 'Wei Ying'" (note the triple quotes) or in other words like this post says, "And you truly deserve your name, 'Wei Ying'". Idk if I'm being nitpicky about this and noone had a problem understanding this lol But the given translation completely shifts the meaning imo so thank you for the link to make this more clear!
