Yea and @Estelll below kind of said what I meant. I tend to believe that the snowfall scene is the defining moment for WWX in terms of understanding his and LWJ's relationship, so he knows that each time he says those phrases he is hurting LWJ, so he doesn't say it loud enough for LWJ to hear it. As to why LWJ raised his head and the bgm I am not sure. Anyway, all just speculation haha

Yea!! When I wrote that I was actually thinking more about the novel and yea I completely agree ^^ I just found it ironic how WWX claims they're the most important phrases yet he doesn't need to say them to his most important person. So beautiful ahhhhhh

No disrespect to your opinion but I still stubbornly believe that WWX was just saying that to himself because I see it like he knows that LWJ doesn't like to hear it but LWJ still heard him because they have telepathy :)

Hmm I always thought soulmate is the right translation for 知己 (zhiji) mainly because in my English dictionary the definition of soulmate it's describing two souls that fit one another perfectly and just *gets* one another. But it was nice to learn about the level of complexity of this phrase.

Yes such a heartbreaking moment for Wen Qing :( come to think of it Wen Qing and Shijie were pretty much the only two female characters that appeared in WWX's life yet both had very big impacts on him.

I'm not sure if LWJ heard him during that scene though. WWX said it very quietly so I thought he was more thinking it but not really saying it loudly idk

Yea I feel like the competition is way too fierce in this show especially since they lowered the number of spots to 7. I agree with you that none of the members seem to be really friends with one another, whereas compared to Youth With You all the members seem to get along really nicely and naturally.

If you're interested in anime you can check out the donghua version of this story then decide if the story is to your liking! But be warned the donghua has 3 seasons but only has 2 seasons out currently. Up to you, just a suggestion.

There is no need to give me the "keep trying" attitude when all I am merely doing is suggesting different perspectives as replies to what you said. I am not trying to "prove" or win this "debate" because to me this was never a meaningful thing to debate on anyway. I was one of the first to say that I am happy you found something you like. If you want to talk about buzz, well, fans of The Untamed recently just celebrated the 1st anniversary of its broadcast so certainly there has been a lot of buzz surrounding The Untamed recently--after a whole damn year too I should say. It's not like every drama holds anniversary celebrations right? That should say something about how well received The Untamed is. I'm not saying you should now hold an anniversary celebration for The King Eternal Monarch, but just trying to say that your point about buzz doesn't really work.

Yea that one. I feel like author's should have the freedom to write whatever they want as long as the content doesn't hurt anyone so I just feel bad for the author and confused at the fan's actions.

I believe we all should be happy that there are so many people who like both dramas :D. And yes we will enjoy our success while it lasts, which I genuinely think will last a lifetime for most people here, just like for the fans over there for The King Eternal Monarch!

Genuinely curious have you read the fan fic you are referring to? Because I have. And I can't understand why people are attacking it so furiously. I feel like I'm the only one defending the author of the fic. Yes there are adult content but that warning was already given by the author. If one does not like it, then just...don't read it...? I'm open to anyone who has read it to discuss it with me :) If you have not read it then I can only say you're blindly jumping aboard a bandwagon.
