There were computers in 1 scene when Kongpob visited Arthit after his lab in his classroom, but yeah I'm very…

Whoever did Jin’s hair and makeup apparently does not believe the eyes are the windows to a person’s soul.

I really liked this series! It’s essentially a compact version of the Thai series so many of us loved - but with the Japanese aesthetic and personality, which I also love. I liked all the main actors even if we didn’t get much time to fully flush out their personalities. At least I knew the story already so i could mentally fill in the gaps. Thanks guys!!! ❤️

I feel like this missed the mark a bit. I enjoyed it, and BossNoeul definitely brought their A game, but it's…
Good point! The two disparate storylines left things a bit muddled.

the lakhorn element?
The over-the-top soap opera storyline with the mom, and the fiancé, and the brother and father coming to the rescue in the exact moment. Typical Thai soap opera stuff. It wasn’t my favorite part.

Loved the fantasy/supernatural element - I think it was creative and well done - even if a bit rushed.

The BL romance element was great - I really enjoy Boss and Noeul as a couple, and the side couple was super cute.

The friends group was great - I loved them all, but I want more background on Jin and his superpower!

The Lakhorn element was a bit much, but a little crazy to spice things up? Well, okay - but it was silly.

Okay, now I want more. Let’s dig in to the other dimensions, the multiple Cirs, and give me more background for everyone but the mom. There’s enough material for a season two, or at least a couple special episodes.

First off, dismissing the entire drama after one episode is just ridiculous. You’re acting like one imperfect…
That.

This is exactly why I love Japanese dramas in general. They often navigate humanity with its flaws and don’t…
Agreed the "grounding in plausible reality" gives it an authenticity that contributes to the impact. Thanks for the recommendation - I'll check it out.

I think this is another great example of how well JBLs skillfully and insightfully explore complicated relationships and the grey edges of human experience (Jack o’ Frost, Our Youth, Perfect Propose, Tokyo in April, My Personal Weatherman, My Beautiful Man, etc.). I think relationships are each uniquely complicated because we have different karma, no one is all good or all bad, attachment is the nature of life, and real love, compassion and understanding requires effort. Everyone in this show is flawed and I think the two leads are weak. However, I think they’ll discover strength, courage and personal responsibility through each other. I also love the way they met - it’s not only a fairly clever plot device, but it shows how randomly relationships are born and it usually involves simple proximity.
