Actually, to verify your account you link your email address to your phone number. It’s not foolproof, but I assume it will only let you link one email address to your phone.

I just want to share one more rating detail I’ve read. Apparently, ratings from “verified” accounts are given more weight - presumably to reduce the impact of people that create multiple/new accounts just to skew ratings. To verify your account you go to profile settings.

Yes, Diew does seem to suffer from social anxiety. I hope God ( what a name!) helps him build his confidence. Plus, it’s nice to see how Diew appears to have made God more self-aware and loving - specifically towards his band mate.

This show is really sweet! The only aspect that annoys me is that they seem to conflate introversion with shyness. Since they’re doing the whole MBTI thing, they should be clear that they are not the same - though some people may be both. I’m an introvert but I’m not shy at all.

Two episodes in and this is really a fun watch. Love the chill, authentic, slice-of-life vibe. There’s nothing much new as far as the story goes but the student cast is doing a great job. It’s a little bit jarring for me to see Liu Dong Qin as a high school student since I last saw him playing a grown-ass man in Only For Love, but an extra coat of concealer on his beard and voilà – he’s a teenager! And it’s so much fun to see a few familiar faces from shows i’ve liked.

Biggest reason: the influence of western media. When I began watching K-dramas in 2015 I was captivated and often wondered what the secret sauce was - I think it’s many things actually. However, I think they resonated with international audiences that were tired of western programming that (to me) was very superficial, saturated with violence, and loaded with shock value. The storytelling in the west had deteriorated to the point I couldn’t watch it anymore, and many commenters said they loved K-dramas because they were “different”. Then, when Netflix announced their first big investment in K-dramas I knew that spelled the end - that K-dramas were going to lose their charm - their secret sauce. And that’s what’s happening.

In a series that I think misses the mark in so many ways, Mos’s talent still shines through. I think he nails the comedic moments, and is able to express serious moments with his eyes and micro expressions. I think Mos has a bright acting career ahead of him and I can wait for him to branch out.
