Really sweet series - brought to life through Sun Hyun Woo’s compelling performance as Hantae. I was right there with him when he started crying while eating his mother’s stir-fry noodles.
The scene in the boxing gym was a great addition and delivered lots of emotion - and humor.
I loved that they rode the bike from beginning to end - it was a great “vehicle” for some cute scenes.
This reads like a press release from the actors agent - desperately wanting to build up interest in the project. I find most articles on MDL to read the same way. My reaction is usually the same - “how much did they get paid to post this?” 😂
I could say a lot about the script and the acting, but it’s been said. However, after the intensity of Be My Favorite, Stay With Me, and Tokyo in April - this is so relaxing. 😘
I view the assault of Ren by Sanada a little bit differently than some who have commented on it. I think Ren wasn’t overcome by Sanada’s physicality, but rather he was triggered by the assault into another panic attack. Additionally, his reaction was foreshadowed by Ryunosuke’s comment about their attempt to have sex - he said that Ren hyperventilated. So, Ren is laying there unable to respond normally because he’s having a panic attack - yet again.
Now, that being said, I think they could have done a better job showing this. Plus, I agree with others that the character Sanada could have been cast better.
The acting - pretty much across the board - is really great. There’s so much heart and authenticity in their performances. Of course, it starts with a great script and comes to life with great directing. Cheers to everyone!
Wow - this series really makes me think BL dramas are produced and viewed in a bubble. It appears all you need is two - or more - flirty hot guys. I like the overall story so far, but the writing is sloppy, the acting is stilted, the direction is uninspired - and yet I’m here for it - hoping that it delivers some heart and substance by the end.
There was some really cringy acting in the first episode, but boy oh boy those BL casting directors know exactly what they’re doing. I’ll be back for more tyvm.
With every episode I’m enjoying this silly drama more and more. It’s unrealistic (when has a Thai BL ever been realistic?), campy, dramatic, at times cringy, and filled with the tropes we all know and love. It’s a typical Thai BL and this month’s guilty pleasure. 😁❤️

This is another enjoyable Japanese BL with a lot more overt sexuality than the norm. I also like the openness…
I’m still under the impression that their reunion at work was a coincidence - a wild one for sure. Since Ren changed his last name I don’t see how Kazuma would have been able to find him. But, there’s more show to come and i’m sure we’ll learn more.
