One of S Korea’s best actors - really, really talented. While I’ve not necessarily loved every show he’s been in he has always delivered, and instantly elevates whatever he’s in. As a supporting character in Cheese In The Trap he was a scene stealer, and he did a brilliant job playing two characters in Are You Human Too.

Were there some cheesy implausible moments? Yes. Where there evil characters that stayed around way to long? Yes, of course, it’s a drama. Were there lots of absolutely beautiful, lovable characters and endless plot twist? Yes and yes - Ning Yuxuan, Ji Man, Gui Bai, Shui Niangzi, Yuan Lang, and more. I’m not one for long series, but I loved every episode! My first drama with Ding Xu Xi and I definitely look forward to more. It’s a 10 for me.

Loved this show and our leads nailed it. In the early episodes Ji Yuan Su completely embodied self-absorbed pretension all the way down to his graceful hand gestures and the way he drank his tea - it was hilarious. And Hua Lou Li was his only equal in intellect, physical prowess and clever sarcasm. And ever to lighten the mood was Pei Ji Huai, the cute, fierce and always reliable comic sidekick who played a support role like a lead. But damn, I have to say, that Yun Han was one captivating, sultry, sexy beast!

The writers delivered some very clever twists that kept our mains from being completely predictable, and infused them with such delightful and endearing personality! Well done! All the feels in 8 x 15.

The creative execution (scripting, cinematography, editing, and acting) was really well done! There was a consistently engaging tension regarding their uncertain future, while at the same time provoking a deep desire for a romantically charged climax. Thank you to the whole production team - you should be proud of your work!

If I recall correctly, we are required to enter something to open an account. i presume to verify that we’re not a child? So i’m sure many are made up dates.

I wish one of the analytics folks at MDL would explain the data on the stats page so I could make sense of what’s provided. For example, the age group with the lowest (avg?) rating is much higher than the overall rating.

I agree! Part of the reason Park seems natural in his role is that the actor is also the screenwriter. I was surprised to see he also wrote Ai Long Nhai because it is so different.

My only challenge with this series is that I have no idea how most characters are related. 😂 I’d love a character relationship chart.

Yes! You get your quick fix and then you’re strung out for a week. Then when the next episode comes out I have to remember - what was this one about again? 😂

I’m watching 9 currently airing BL series - that must be a record! And there are more that I haven’t started! An embarrassment of riches?

I’m not even sure I know why, but I love every scene Li Qing is in!

I’m thinking more in general terms - over the past year. However, these are some of the series I’m enjoying right now: Thai-BL - A Boss and a Babe, K-BL - Our Dating Sim, and J-BL - Jack O Frost.

This series perfectly illustrates that we BL fans can be - at the same time - the most forgiving and most cruel fans ever. And reactions to the BL genre are the most subjective I’ve seen. 😂

Yeah - i half thought Net was going to start laughing when James started to fake cry. Perhaps he did in an outtake. 😂
