is it recommended to watch the kr one then started this one? or i can just jump straight into this?

this drama is a breath of fresh air. it’s so funny and entertaining. i still have the downloaded first episode just in case to rewatch. the humour in the first ep is top tier and with more episodes, more laughter you can expect (in case you’re a new watcher). like im obsessed with this couple, nan heng & song yimeng. so adorable, their fights just like cat & dog, i can watch them bicker all day and knowing they will still stuck with each other 😂

That idiot Nan Rui always going here and there with his servant Jinxiang. The fact that he’s the fav son of the emperor, and no one dares to lift finger on him, so he ended up roaming everywhere with only one servant contrary to Nang Heng and CGH. And Jinxiang is just so done with his master. Always talking big, always gets rejected, arrogant, weak and a bastard.

in ep12, when Nan Heng desperately asked SY what’s all that means by protagonist, script and everything.. and he told her, what she believed and said wasn’t true, the way he desperately said he never killed innocent persons, and all he did was just trying to survive when everyone against him. arghh my heart broke for Nan Heng. the desperation to prove that all the accusations were just lies. even everyone believed he did, he at least needed one person to believe him and that person is Song Yimeng.

another lesson to learn: that we shouldn’t just believe 💯 in the story, in the appearance, in the telltale, in the rumour.. someone somewhere fight hard to live despite the accusations we create/tell. it’s just a fiction, yet it hurts. poor guy Nan Heng, you deserved hugs!

when we going to see our miss chen du ling on screen again? we need her new drama right now.

arghh, i love them both hence it’s hard to decide. but i need to pick my battle (drama) wisely bcs there’s so many dramas to watch. and for me, storyline matters than the actors/actress. so perhaps, im gonna give it a chance and see it myself before deciding to let go or continue.

hello ep1 was so damn entertaining. i cant stop laughing, my eyes got teary. never know Li Yitong can be this funny (I didn’t watched many of her drama), will surely checkout more of her after this. love the fact that not only bgm makes every scenes in the first ep funny, the actress herself did wonderful job portraying it. am so excited to watch the next one.

purely my opinion after watching quite numbers of crime documentaries. but even it is not, i would say the show did some exaggeration in those betrayals part. it seems quite exaggerating in my pov.

yeah, i noticed that. the same river and it seems perhaps the same group of ppl cast in diff projects.

no, not reincarnated. yes, she’s almost being SA by his foster father. and after that, yes she went to search for her family barefooted.

oh to be able to watch this again like the first time— missing our zhuang hanyan and her ‘im the fire’ vibes.
