Well they're not a couple yet so is it really rushed? and tbh they cleared the arc with his ex since episode 4 when he said it was in the past. it's only the ex coming onto him.
this progression actually feels just right, he realized his gratitude since episode 4 when Sena cleared his ex from investigation. then romantic feelings for raik started growing since episode 5. episode 9 is the right time to confess especially after their deep conversations, raik realizing sena is the only person he feels truly himself. and all he ever wanted was someone to see him for himself. from ep 5 to 9 was taking it slow, if he had confessed in episode 6 and then found out about Sena's identity, that would have been rushed.
Currently on ep. 6. Who is the killer?? This is dragging on way too long.
curious, isn't it a given with murder mystery whodunit plotlines, they don't reveal who the killer is until the last few episodes? is there a 1 murder mystery story that still is engaging even with the culprit revealed halfway?

rewatching episode 1 and man i miss sena's fangirling days! now that she's let go of fangirling she's become so subdued. before she defended criminals but even with all the stress, still had time to be happy. with raik she has to hold back a lot so i hope she finds a new hobby 😭maybe start liking a girl group or watch anime. idk even if your future boyfriend might be your idol, should still have a hobby to make you happy!

I ship them so much but I also have valid concerns like yours. If I was Sena, I would reject him. I would not be sure if he likes me for me, or because what I've done for him. Also, I don't think they should properly get together until the case is settled.
