In which we find out something important about our female lead

This might be a pivotal episode, as Kang Yun's ex-wife makes an appearance and our female lead, Tang Ying Ying, reveals something important and painful to Kang Yun about her childhood that impacts her adult life, and to her surprise, finds instant acceptance and understanding from KanygYun, who she has been holding at arms length. Kudos to the screenwriters for not descending into the usual, boring, "scheming ex wife" tropes. This is handled with class, which was an unexpected treat. In fact, there are few tropes in any of this drama, and I almost feel like I'm watching a reality show because the characters are people I can identify with.

1st off - even though this is time travel,…

1st off - even though this is time travel, it's back in time to a parallel universe - which i don't get - what's the point... cause like Kram in this universe is already dead & Thai is a different person. so who says Phupha is destined to live the same life here too? i get that it's kinda hinted at, that his new step-mother is the one behind the assassination plot. but why does this universe have to be the same?!? *************************************************************************************************************** a parallel universe IMO is the same people living different lives or making different choices, that leads to different lives... like Thai that chose to leave his family & the family business, is leading a totally different life then he was in Kram's world. *************************************************************************************************************************************************btw Thai's aunt Lu told Kram he had 3 months, before he could go back & then we get a 3 month time skip(?), but Kram decides to take this Phupha to the world where he has been murdered ? like what?!??? ****************************************************why not find a way to save him here & then leave. what is the point of taking him back - i get Kram loves Phupha & their budding relationship got cut short, before they could actually be together. but who says this Phupha will love him like his Phupha did?!??? maybe in this universe Phupha is straight. *************************************************************************so taking him back is such a weird choice. especially when he doesn't have a clue what is going on & will be in danger the sec he wakes up. as he & Kram don't have the power to stop anyone trying to kill him - so i don't get this train of thought. how is this saving Phupha. the sec this Phupha appears in Kram's world the old Phupha doesn't disappear. i don't get the logic behind this ep or Kram's conclusions as to how he should solve his problem. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the fact Thai went along with this crazy plan is more cause it hurts him too much to be around Kram, who isn't the Kram he knew & loved, so he just wants him gone, so Thai can continue healing & let Kram go.

Gatherings and new hires

Lin Wan is working hard on the hellfire level game she is supposed to create. Pei looks like he has a migraine every time she shows up with binder and big smile😂Ma has helped him by hiring all the unhireable newbies. Pei is especially pleased with his unlucky jr being added to staff. At the matchmaking event she is the one that encouraged SiBo. Waiting to see if they are a perfect match. Everything seems to be on course with profit loss excepting Lin Wan’s game. He lowers his standards a bit in vehicle upgrade and finds a congested gym area where one has already closed due to the heavy competition. Here he finds the one that sold him his car and he noted her particularly bad luck in making sales. He considered her perfect for his staff. Is he lined up for bonus number two? Or will he be thwarted by good intentions from staff?

Multi point losing strategy

LiShi made it to the restaurant only to be told he couldn’t order without a reservation. 😂🤣 He could only get coffee not water which he had to buy before he could drink😂🤣 Pei’s assistant arrived with mud splattered shoes and less than happy face, but she did have the news Pei most wanted to hear. He is finally receiving his first bonus since this business venture started. Pei scored with his restaurant and now has a shell of an apartment. He is determined to make money faster by a multi prong attack in every department. He is making progress in every area to gain his much wanted losses. His assistant saw his cheer on the roof and smiled. His workers are less happy now but still have faith in him with the possible exception of Bao. This trip will at least involve gaming abroad so maybe he will be happier with this trip. For the web book section, Pei has ordered them to do everything wrong with the typical tropes and plot armor. None of the authors are understanding this method of writing. He is keeping a whiteboard showing his level of loss projection and is successful in having every area heading towards a loss. He is spewing out all kinds of nonsense and his staff is accepting it. Now waiting to see if he ever gets the apartment or stays camped out in the shell of it.

LiShi conflict and Mingyun Villa

Pei arrives to find LiShi very determined to buyout the Internet cafe. At an impasse, LiShi breaks their rental contract, pays the penalties and triples the rental price so he could kick them out. Pei is almost rid of it when the Lin’s came commenting on how much their daughter appreciated him as a boss and liked the company. They own the property and will let Tengda use it for free. Additionally they paid for all the Internet gamers so Pei is making profit yet again.😂 Their singer is also returning so a full house is pretty assured. Pei has had it with Lin Wan and gets her to research failed games ten years prior to date. She is so efficient that he does this two more times and she just says yes sir and brings back nice detailed binders. Bao has returned and he wants to throttle Pei.🤣😂 He is adjusting to being back indoors after that wonderful tour.🤣 SiBo has decided he wants to make web novels. Pei agrees because he thinks this is an assured loss of profit. When he doesn’t get his way buying corporate lunch, Pei buys Mingyun Villa. It’s actually quite picturesque but it’s literally in the middle of nowhere with a two mile hike required to get to the place. After the hike, his staff has to harvest their own veggies to have their lunch made. The only one loving this task is Lin Wan. She is like supergirl with extraordinary strength and multitasking skills. Pei is doing his best to persuade her to go home, but she is too happy where she is. LiShi is making his way up the path when the episode ends.

Employees rewarded and singer sponsored

Pei is at a loss because even Ma has made profit. 😂 He has sent SiBo off with large cash bonus to realize his dreams and the gamer on an exploration tour, followed up with making coder lead of next project. He thinks he has successfully cleared out the real workers and ready to start losing cash. Everybody is celebrating the new year and sending red envelopes. Lin Wan’s parents want her in family business, but even dad can’t find fault with six figure bonus check. Pei’s parents have bragged some of the fancy apartment their son has promised. Currently there is bickering in their lane because the owners reneged on building elevators for elderly struggling with the stairs. Pei is sponsoring the cafe singer so that sales will slump, but there’s a good chance the singer will win the contest. He has not sent an envelope yet but has made arrangements for apartment contract when he gets back. His parents have no clue he’s the boss and his staff still thinks he’s a wonderful boss with no clue he wants them to fail. I am glad they silenced Ma’s friend from singing. Pei has scrubbed the seafood stall idea and wants the neon lights gone so now to see if cafe will return to a loss rather than gain.

Team saves the game and M&Y Internet cafe launched

Si bo is unhappy with game and the fab 4 meet at Lin Wan’s place to fix game. Together they add mini games to compensate players for bug. This has flipped popularity of game and again Pei wants to strangle Si Bo for fixing it.😂🤣 He heads to Sima wanting out of his contract but changes his mind. He extends Tengda to include an Internet cafe. With this project he puts Ma in charge and things get interesting. His choice of manager is just what Pei ordered.😂 This time, Pei wants no marketing, no discounts and everything is pricey. He is getting attention from higher ups this time because he is starting to invade their turf. If they only knew how much Pei wanted them to trample his company.😂He starts to feel a bit of guilt as he realizes that for him to succeed his people would have to fail. What he did not expect was for them to care about the projects’ successes. Pei assumed they would be so happy with a good salary and perks that they could toss aside disappointment with failed project. He doesn’t deserve their loyalty like they think he does, but he has not considered they would take pride in actual work performance rather than just playing and getting paid for it. The staff for the new cafe are nicely lined up outside to greet the non existent customers when episode ends.

Pei loses it as he watches his company place first in popularity.😂🤣 Sky Fire staffers play and even the CEO is hooked on the game. Lin Wan thinks Tengda is the company of her dreams and gladly resigns. Pei thinks she won’t get along with his group and gladly hires her. She blends right in so Pei is going for same strategy as Sky Fire. Use algorithm of most popular games and build similar style on their platform. He even wants the games to come out at same time as Sky fire’s because he wants to sink the company fast. His team doesn’t get why he is working this way, but they trust his leadership and go with it. Their game is Deserted Island Sharpshooter. Watching Pei and colleague try out game is hilarious. He could only describe it as a fun mediocre game. 😂

Business study tour and game launch

Pei is determined to get them in the red but a trio have formed a team to actually get Divine General Pact launched on time. They take a company tour of businesses to learn more about producing games. The group has had 5 star accommodations and to other businesses look like inexperienced newbies with no business sense. The last place on tour is sky fire that is supposed to be top notch in their field. What is fun is after seeing how life really is for the company workers, Tengda employees are not impressed and see that their equipment is as good or better than this top tier company. Pei and Lin Wan are having fun drawing caricatures of the sleepers in the group.😂 Lecture Part two is supposed to show how well sky fire’s games stack up popularity wise and Divine General Pact starts rapidly moving up the line. Pei is stunned.😂🤣
