bro, this is terribly written I donāt know whathe writers weāre were on, itās 2025 you have to be able to handle themes like this better if youāre going to cover them get your shit together, like everyone including fricking Mild are under the impression that Knight assaulted Mild but everyoneās super chill and unconcerned about it?? like his friends taking him out to lunch and telling him he wonāt escape Knightās grasp and teasing him about knight after hearing what Mud said at the party and without knowing Knights side of it⦠AND THEN HAVING KNIGHT KISS HIM AFTER B HE EXPLICITLY TOLD HIM NOT TO IS NOT HELPING I WILL SEE THESE WRITERS IN HEL!!

So the episode didnāt start off too badly right? nevertheless itās creepy knight took Mild to secluded spot where he had not contact to the outside world and the fucking reveal at the end of the episode didnāt help?? like I know itās a misunderstanding from what Iāve gathered but man is it gonna be hard to come back from this especially based off of the next episodes rating š also the reveal not only makes night look bad but Mud as well because youre under the impression that this guy assaulted your brother but you really havenāt done anything to protect him besides act like a caveman ????? ridiculous

This was so fun and annoyingly tense. The character Park Jin Cheol is hilarious. Yes the missed connections were frustrating but obviously he's not going to find her that easily otherwise the show wouldn't be 10 eps. I do love that we're building to the ultimate showdown between the two dads. So I'm not too mad at the mistimed meetings and the random thunderstorm keeping Min Ji from hearing her father. The best part of the episode was the proof of life handwritten note in the ice. I cried. Because he so needed to know that she's alive in order for him to keep going.

Didn't expect the emperor to be against WuYi's and JiaYu's divorce, but here we are... "balance out both friends," he said? We'll see how that balancing goes! š And considering that the secret of WuYi being the Crown Prince WenXi has been revealed to someone on the side, I wonder how long it will take for GT Xia and Li Mao to learn about that... I expect all hell to break loose when that happens! š¬š«£The prison scene was wonderful. They couldn't hide from each other, so they talked, and through talking, they even bonded a little. š I love that they are growing closer. Her moving her sleeping mat to the place he was chained under the pretext that he had terrible injuries, and then putting her hand on his... I saw that smile, WuYi... I did! šš«£A great surprise was that Cui Shao'An turned out to be a rebellious son and became an ally to our guys. š However, I didn't expect his sister to die so soonāand what's more, by their own father's sword. That is so twisted! šÆ

I am still thinking what is the message of this episode beyond father losing his child to a hidden enemy. They still think the fox is the culprit of everything, but I believe this is one of those dramas where the enemy looks nice and has some power(can be a emperor,prince,...)

My goodness that whole sequence leading up to and the start of the Mafia Game was hilarious!. And then later Mr. An chanting, "Director Tae!" along with the window cleaning lady!!!!!!! And then when he shows up to pull service rank and get Vincenzo out!! THE HUG!!!!!!!!!!! Then the Welcome Back Corn Salad party!!! I'm dying! One of the funniest episodes so far. The later scene of Jiang Jiang Han Seo and Han Seung Hyouk practicing shooting kept triggering me because they both kept casually pointing the gun barrel towards the other, including when handing it to the other person! Folks. NEVER POINT THE BARREL AT SOMEONE. Always handle it pointed away from people. As for the last scene - gotta agree it's way stupid and out of character for Vincenzo to risk getting that close to his mark. Hopefully that will make more sense next episode.

Funny to see Prince Qi loves Hawthorne cakes as much as WuYi likes peach candies.šHe is trying to gild the cage for his obsession because love seems to have left the building. He has no interest in JiaYuās wishes and she realized she was just as uninterested in his. JiaYuās mom is sounding her out about what her dreams are and how current events impacted it. JiaYu is much more aware of the consequences to the masses while those making the decisions drink honey water and eat pastries. Mulian Ying has discovered his machine design in Cui Junās room, He sees things arenāt adding up and discovers there is an imposter posing as Cui Jun. he follows the order of northern empress dowager and has every intention of bringing down the fort and mine to poison everybody with the contaminated water underneath the mine. Mulian Ying makes a gallant effort to shut down his machine but is killed by a trap. His last words telling his lost love he would see her soon. The Cui son tells them the plans of his father and that Mulian Yung was killed. WuYi beats the crap out of the father, but his friend died before telling him it wasnāt the real Cui patriarch. Since he is not really Cui, I wonder if this will bring some leniency to the real family members that were set up by the north and fake father. JiaYuās mom and Princess Pingning have an exchange where it is made clear there is no long standing alliance with the Xieās. She tries to convince the young princess that it was all a lie about Prince WenXi still being alive. They part ways peacefully but LeJun confiscates the letter to see if the a Princeās location is given. For now his identiand location still secret. It is also clear that the second she has any confirmation as to who and where that his life will be forfeit to keep place for her brother that lacks Royal blood to claim title. Mother and daughter decide to take a trip and it is noted that JiaYu doesnāt seems as happy with it as she ought to be. But she is determined to keep researching the catapult her master was working on. When her plans are revealed to WuYi, he too has a melancholy look. He knows that the search will be on for the Phoenix Hearts so he travels separately to offer mother and daughter safer travel. Lejun has communicated with he dad that she is all in protecting her brother. Tutor Xie has no clue why his wife would team up with WuYi. His arrogance has no limit thinking she would want any alliance with him when she despises him and resents the Regent title with Mao. There must have been something in the sweets he bought because JiaYu now is feeling ill and that leaves her mom traveling with LeJun. While mother and daughter now separated, WuYi is taking his prisoner back. The motherās horse sets off in a frenzy and for the first time ever, somebody going over a cliff actually dies. š±Lejun is rescued and the Phoenix Heart is missing. WiYi arrived just in time to keep JiaYu following her mother over the cliff. All evidence points to WuYi being responsible for the horse gaining access to contaminated feed. Since the coachman also died, any witness or further evidence thru testimony is lost. JiaYu has collapsed under the strain and from whatever she was given to make her ill. WuYi is doing his best to be her support and comforter but this is a bad scenario. He has no way to clear himself if the evidence. The Tutor is unaware of who he is but will make good use of these circumstances to better seat his son as ruler. Aster WuYi gets bear gall to heal JiaYu Tutor Xie shows up right in cue to blame JiaYu for the plan he devised with LuJun. He has the audacity to slap her and put her on notice with the Xie family. I want the earth to swallow him up right there. The only good thing from this is that I hope it broadens the chasm between Mao, LeJun and Tutor. The three deserve each other. The emperor is probably the only one currently in palace aware of the farce that is going on here.š That the Tutor deliberately attacked her when she was most vulnerable and his new villain son is distractedā¦is reprehensible.š¤¬she never was a member of the Xie family so he did her a damn good favor disowning her. š”š¤¬šI canāt wait til these stunts bite him in the ass. I hope his ex haunts him for the remainder of this life and the next.šIt is also hard to hate him so much in this drama and like him in the other one airing. šš«£Tutor has claimed no divorce so he can confiscate the body. She is already rolling over in her grave.ššNow JiaYu thinks WuYi is guilty coveting the mine and tokens.šš¤¬ Iād like to smack her other cheek but he does look guilty. He would be heartbroken to hear this conversation between her and Mao. Had she witnessed the conversations between WuJi and her mother she would have realized how wrong she was. This is where all the chatter with third parties rather than to each other directly is annoying,šNobody, not even her own mother, invested as much effort into JiaYuās true happiness and protection than WuYi. For now, if she is really to marry multiple times, she deserves a lesson with her trusty Mao.š Let her see up close and personal what has happened to her old boyfriend and best friend. They can have each other til her blinders are off.šWuYi has the stripes to prove his battle with the bear for the needed ingredient. He is the one who loved her unconditionally tho here I think he and mother on even par. They both wanted the best for her no matter what. What is surprising is that Mao now knows the truth. His sister killed the princess and coachman with the forage for horse. What that also means is someone got the tokens prior to accident and Mao now knows who daddy is. So now to watch them plot agains WuYi while knowing the truth. This will let Mao show his true colorsā¦.whatever they happen to be. Kudos to this fine cast for superb acting across the board. Intensity of feelings coming across with WuYi and Tutor shining in this episode. There are no weak links and they are scooping us up emotionally in their story and keeping us there. šš»

I was surprised by the acting. He didn't need any lines to convey the emotion towards losing his good friend.

Would have loved the series more without the female lead. I don't know if it's the actress or character development but I got so annoyed that even after skipping from episode 7 to 16, I still couldn't watch till the end⦠I just couldn't stand the voice and personality. Maybe there should be a remake

Just when it looked pretty grim for the tenants, facing a brutal squad from the Seven Swords gang, Mr. Tak shows up to demonstrate his skills with scissors! The rules are suspended now as we have moved from scheming and courtroom shenanigans to outright gunfights. Terrific tempo in this episode climbing to a very tense ending.

The Duke of Weiās visit was cut short and he was called away to handle some skirmishes. He was ambushed en route and was targeted by archers with poisoned arrows. This time there is no camouflage of his identity or ability. The crown prince shows up to boldly co lead the Dukeās squadron. They fight side by side and defeat the assassins. Even this display of courage and fortitude did not completely convince the Duke that the Crown Prince was the right suitor. He commended him on his abilities and then began interrogating him on his motivations for choosing his daughter. Here candor won over the Dukeās doubts. He then called out a toast to his father in law that was eventually accepted and cheered on by the rest of the group. After leaving, the word coming back to the Princess is that a very small group had interfered with her father and the Crown Prince was milking it for all he was worth. The Crown Prince puts on his usual show of helplessness and she finally calls him on it. His aide arranges to meet the Princess and gives him an exact account of the past events. He puts them in context and the degree of danger that had been invested on her behalf. She was assured that in spite of his appearance in her presence that he had sincerely put his life on the line for her several times. She sees the Crown Prince wearing the cloak sheād made for her father and she is not happy to have to acknowledge it. She let him know that whether or not he had won her father over, she was still unmoved about accepting the engagement. At a banquet designed for the princes to show off archery skills to significant others, the crown prince collapses from something added to the fruit that should not have been a danger to him. He has a chat with his father to have the princess administer meds for him. She is far from enthused with the task but accepts the duty she is given. She does now tell the prince he can drop the feint of heart act.šNot sure who schemed for her to be in charge of the spring banquet but that was not going over with her peers. She did refuse it since not officially married and here the women could gossip that something was amiss about the engagement. The scene then goes to her ex husband who did everything in his power to plead for the Gu family. He left no stone unturned in providing evidence of their service and firm belief that a betrayal from them was not possible. As a last resort, he offered to exchange his life for his wifeās. The crown prince hears of an official retiring and ensures that the Princessā maternal grandfather gets the position. She is not ready for his response that as part of her family that was simply his duty to her and not a power play with the court. Whether she lets her heart change or not she is now finally seeing his actions in context. Her ex is not giving up and has requested she show up for the memorial ceremony of his wife. He plans on confirming she is somehow the reincarnation of his lost wife. One thing is clear, her character somehow manages to get the utmost devotion from suitors. ShuLin is brought up on charges and finds herself facing Minister Cui. He has taken it upon himself to find every minuscule infringement from her past to air before him there. 𤣠He is not the least bit concerned about her outrage and I bet thinks sheās cute angry.š¤£šShe recognizes that she has no way out and storms off to accept her job. 𤣠These twoā¦are by far the best couple and characters in the story so far. šš»The story is showing the gradual unveiling of the real Crown Prince. The Princess is already well acquainted with the worst judgments the powers that be can exercise. What she has to decide is if she can think about accepting a partner rather than pawn to deal with the corruption. She is given pause to consider since even her father was won over. However, she has all the graves of the Gu family to consider as well. I am not as worried about plot holes etc if more character driven and they maintain my interest above and beyond the flawed creative choices of storyline. For me, the main couple still holds my attention well and the secondary couple ensures I want to continue watching.

Not all of it pretty. We get apartment break-ins by goons that the good guys fight off. And then we get a pretty sick and bloody murder by Jun Woo, just to further establish his already-strong 'psychopath' credentials. Later, the bad guys seem to be winning everything and brutally getting rid of obstacles with impunity. Aside from violence and gore, Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Been) continues to crack me up with her goofy physical comedy. She is so awesome in this series.
