Story finally getting started

I wasn’t sure until this episode if I wanted to watch this drama. Jang Mi is finally making some progress in determining the whistleblower as well as discovering who has the ledger that was missing. She manages to circumvent a 3 billion trade ‘error’ that now has her job on the line. Her ex is the one that is all for canceling her rather than the true culprit. Her real supervisor was successful in keeping her cover during the investigation, but she is now eye to eye with her ex at the disciplinary hearing that is supposed to end her job. I am not really wanting to see them as a couple any time soon. She is a paladin finance supervisor with a strong sense of right and wrong and she doesn’t veer left of that line. Her ex, on the other hand, has already shown that he can give a blind eye even when a death was involved, accept that that choice dissolved their relationship, and is ready to sacrifice the lowest link instead of the guilty party. I would much rather see her figure out this case than get back together with this gray character. I am waiting to see if they have her work with her roommate to locate the slush fund.

This episode is brutal on the 7th Prince

In order to solve the crisis, saving all of the Night Wanderers & Shanguan He, and to sheild both Song sisters, Nan Heng gives up his uncle for the crimes he committed 3 years ago and throws himself under the bus to take all punishment which includes 60 lashes and giving up his title and going into exile. A side story we can see evolving is Minister Song is clearly coming to a new and respectful understanding of Nan Heng and also a less favorable one of Chu Gui Hong. That's probably going to be very important going forward. Meanwhile, Song Yi Meng is still terrified of the remaining, brutal 'iconic events' that are still left in the SCRIPT. And she also seems to still not be aware of the brutal sacrifices that Nan Heng has given both earlier, to save her father and now, to save all of the Night Wanderers. It would be nice if someone told her. It would probably change her thinking. A lot of viewers hate her character but she is simply operating from a different set of information than we viewers have. Oh, and this episode really hammers home that Chu Gui Hong is on full evil villain arc. He refuses to learn or change from his evil even when his hypocrisy and abuse are gently and clearly pointed out to him by first the Song sisters and later by Minister Song.

Xiguang clears all misunderstandings

-Chris tells Xu to go to the party and also tells him that Xiguang was not dating Yusen when they were skiing
-Xu goes to Siliong’s party when he heard Xiguang was there. He got mad when he heard Xiguang was seen kissing her boyfriend when he dropped her off at the party. Xu sings a song Xiguang had said she would have loved a guy to sing it to her below her balcony when she was in college
-Xiguang leaves the party. Xu follows her
-Xu addresses Xiguang for easily forgetting her promises implying her promise to keep pursuing him to make him fall for her when she had confessed to him. Xiguang said she had texted him to apologize not knowing he and Rong were in a relationship. She would not have pursues him had she known
-Xiguang said he took advantage of her feelings. Both had misunderstandings. Why should she be the one to crawl back and beg? It was never a choice for her. Yusen walked into her life and honestly said how he felt about her. She was always going to end up with him. She took a taxi to where Yusen was. When Yusen say her, saying she looked like a lost little girl, Xiguang leaped up and hugged him fiercely in front of his mentors as her feet led her to him. -Xiguang was impressed of how well Elio’s mandarin is

“Lin Yusen” she claims her man

-office romance as they are officially dating now
-work friedns are finally taken out to dinner by Yusen. Yusen goes on another business trip and kisses Xiguang on the forehead
-dating shares their ups and down in their respective area of work. Yusen sends XIguang his resume for job application… for target customer aka XIguang
-it was decided it was not the time to introduce XIguang as Yusen’s girlfriend at his grandfather’s 80th birthday party. Xiguang goes with her uncle to the birthday party as a surprise to Yusen. While trying to figure out how to surprise Yusen, everyone at the party witness Yusen’s cousin Xingjie (Bokia’s son) who is being announced as the heir to their grandfather’s business slight Yusen by not accepting Yusen’s return toast. Mad at this slap in the face when he could have been a renowned neurosurgeon still had the accident not happen and not have to put up with the party goer’s pity, Xiguang walked up to Yusen and again say “Lin Yusen” in front of everyone. Saying that he is not the only one who couldn’t wat to see the other one. The dating couple goes to Xiguang’s uncle to greet him. Then Yusen grabbed Xiguang’s hand and walked up to his grandfathers to wish him “Happy Birthday” and declare that Xiguang is his girlfriend. His grandfather gives his approval by saying Yusen needs to bring her around more often. Her uncle was so funny. Asking for an allowance increase for sending his wife photos of the couple. They leave the banquet hall for some fresh air with everyone looking at them

-sweet beginning of their dating relationship with letting Xiguang’s mom and JIang Rui know. Rui knows that Yusen is real estate scenery for Xiguang. Real estate scenery was when the cousins were touring in Europe. Everything (scenery) is beautiful, but it is not theirs so have no problem turning their backs and walking away. Rui said they are still young and one day it (the scenery) will be theirs. And when it is, they can write their name on it. When he got out of the car at the train station, Yusen had her write her name on his hand to claim the real estate. 
-Xiguang mom wishes Xiguang all the luck in love. If you are lucky, you do not have to worry about a thing. If you are unlucky, it does not matter how smart or sensible you are. 
-Zhuang Xu asked recovering Kevin about telling him before Kevin’s accident that Yusen was pursuing Xiguang (meaning they were not dating). Kevin could not remember anything before the accident. Chris heard Xu asking Kevin so she knows Xu is interested in Xiguang

Swoon worthy with beautiful aesthetics from plum blossoms and her pink wool coat

-Xiguang gets Yusen’s letter after team meeting where the PV garden was named Liuguang Garden. In the letter, he described his first sighting of her at the party. He thought she was captivating while others said she was arrogant as she addressed someone who made her mad. He thought he had time to make his way to her at the party, but she had left. So when he was offered a chance to meet her in Wuxi for plum blossoms viewing thinking it was an invitation from Xiguang, he jumped at the chance only to have a car accident on the way. He did not realized that he would never be able to hold a scalpel again. In that total darkness after the accident, Xiguang became his inner demon. Everything he has done has been for her. She reads it multiple times and called Yusen. He was on his way to the train station as his flight from Beijing was cancelled due to weather. She asked him to stop in Wuxi on his way to Suzhou. “Are you sure?,” Yusen asked. 

They meet up at the train station. Xiguang takes him to breakfast and sight seeing in Wuxi. She missed a turn for a plum blossoms. But they found a park with plum blossoms and take a walk. She said they were destined to be in a relationship. “We are together from now on”, Xiguang said. Normal office romance. It just hit a little hiccup with the finding out of the invitation to Wuxi plum blossoms and his revenge on her for not visiting him at the hospital post accident. When they got back in the car, Xiguang asked if they should go see the plum blossoms. Yusen said, “From now on, no plum blossoms anywhere could ever top these right here.” Sigh. Swoon.

Why this episode is my favorite? The honest conversation they had in order to progress in their relationship, the visual of pink blossoms falling and her pink wool coat and the sweet expressions from both of them in their dialogue.

just another ROM COM ??

Going into this, I thought we’d get a goofy show about debt collection and cute kittens. Instead, the pilot delivered a surprisingly grounded, emotional look at grief and strained family ties. Can we talk about that rain scene? Khao has this incredible ability to look completely shattered. The guilt Lynx feels for not reconciling with his mom before she passed was palpable. He didn't just play "sad" he played "haunted”. And First plays Tiger with such a unique energy. He’s supposed to be "ruthless," but the second he sees a cat, he melts. The way he uses his eyes to communicate with both the cats and Lynx is top-tier.

just the 2nd ep & the character's…

just the 2nd ep & the character's keep bleedin reminiscing about a past - what past, idk.... they know each other for a minute.*** & i know how this plot gonna go & yet i aint ready to watch poor, love sick Noh get kicked in the nuts time & again cause Pun isn't ready to come out of the closet & admit to his feelings. that push & pull did my head in, in the OG BL. this time i don't think it's gonna be an easier watch. but have to admit that in spite of the mains being newbies - very young ones at that, they r doing one hell of a job conveying very complex emotion's. ******************************************************************************** also this time around they didn't make Aim a mega-b*tch, if anything given the glimpse into her life with her mother, she looks like a very lonely, lost soul - also this time Pun didn't tell her that he was sick, he just agreed to meet, so can't blame her for his stupidity. ***************************************************************************************************************************** btw mentioning Aim & her mother, that whole conversation, when her friend dropped by, does that mean that here Aim is gay & she thought she would get her mothers approval to live her life, as she saw fit? not 100% sure what's going on with her - hope we get more info. there so many character's that i don't know who will get screen time & which sub plot will get developed. ****************************************************************************************************************************i don't recall the OG Yuri, i think she was similar to the current one (personality wise) who is very sweet & would be perfect for Noh, if he hadn't already fallen for Pun. but i am guessing she is gonna get paired with Khom??? time will tell - the main thing i am happy about is the fact they removed Jeed - she was such a toxic unlikeable witch, that went from bad to worse as the BL progressed - no redeeming characteristics at all, so glad they got rid of that headache.... ******************************************side note: i really don't recall who Earn is & how he is connected to the main plot or any other mini plot.... but i like the fact that he is showing interest in Noh from the word go, personally i think he is good looking & would be a great distraction or even a replacement ML for the indecisive one... just saying -
