The way chen yi was holding onto the money even when people are beating him up so that he can afford to pay miao jing fees shows how much she mean to him. The way when he came home and saw the warm food and her waiting for him to have dinner just bring him comfort and smile. The way he just said that eat fish as he knew it was her fav and she is growing but the very moment when miao jing said to let her handle all electric work and how she treat his wounds...it's something so beautiful for him. He had never thought that he can experience a person's care like this..and heal him despite struggling to fulfill basic needs. The whole incident of miao jing health was so hard to both her and chen yi. Sometimes we forget that he is also a kid just 2 years older than her...he don't know what a girl is going through because sometimes as a girl we also don't know what's wrong with us. And he felt guilty of making her eat outside food and neglecting her care which he was clueless about. Not to mention the hospital bills. It's hard on him. Plus jiao ming being a girl she also don't know what's wrong with her. I mean she just hit puberty. No one helped her. Generally a mother helps in this case to differentiate what's normal and what's not or any female elder. But she had none. Also she can't go to him and tell him these issues..not to mention she already thinks that she is burden to him by letting him take up all the responsibilities and all she can do is to bear the pain and study to apply for scholarship. Until things gets escalated and both felt guilty about whatever happened. But in reality this couldn't be handled in any way. The entry of cop and his fiancee was like God sending an angel to help these young teenage people and assuring that they are allowed to make mistakes afterall they are still learning. One thing that stucked in my heart was how chen yi was looking at jing miao when she was sleeping at hospital after surgery...it's as if he is looking at a girl who is his entire world which she is. The whole mention of "i want to eat hot pot" , "u know what i want to eat" and chen yi just brought something he thought will make her feel good is his way to show care. He didn't knew that it's not recommended after surgery. The way he get her hot pot like she said...these small gestures are what makes their relationship so beautiful. It's nothing grand but the impact that leave to them was grand. Coming to miao jing's mother. We got to know she never abandoned her daughter. She was arrested for the crimes she intentionally or unintentionally made. That's why calls were not going through. But as soon as she gets her life and in a position to take her daughter to have a stable life she immediately came back. I think the problem between them is communication. Miao jing's mother maybe don't want to talk to her about what she went through but it's adding distance in their relationship. Now, coming to the choices of sacrifices to be made. Miao jing knew that somewhere in a way chen yi is bearing the responsibility of her tution and living expenses and all that loan debt thing that her mother caused him. So when she heard that her mother will pay off his money all she was thinking so be it. If her going can help him then so be it. She don't want to leave him but so be it if it means he can live a normal life carefree after her. She is making sacrifice to choose a stable life with her mother where she can have food education promise but no emotional satisfaction over a connection which they built in ruins, which serves them emotional satisfaction and genuine care but a struggling life where they have to put lot of efforts to meet their ends. Same goes with chen yi...he admires and values miao jing's presence and he don't want to let it go but at the same time he know that it's her mother and she has all right to go and that she can give her good life where she don't need to think about two yuan soda bottle. He just wanted to make sure that she will have that life in abroad and he didn't even thought for a second and sacrificed by letting go of the only person he holds dear and the only connection that brings comfort and peace in his cruel and harsh world just for her betterment.Another last thing i loved in this ep was how miao jing communicate with chen yi. She was honest that she has problems with school fees and how her mother approached her. But what touched me is how jing miao just let the door open enough to make her feel that chen yi is listening and understanding her pov of dilemma of making a decision whether to go or not with her mother but not enough open to let them see each other as she truly don't know how she could have said this to chen yi by looking at him. At last all she can say after tuff and emotional talk is to make her egg pancakes next morning...Now, it's upto miao jing what she chooses and what she makes sacrifices for?

estar i don't think that moron of a brother is kidding. he young & stupid enough to try & put an end to his life if his bf dies. which also indicates how young & naïve = inexperienced he is. personally this doesn't warm me up to him, i can feel compassion for the situation he found himself in & it for sure isn't fair how his bf's parents r treating him or how he is allowing it cause of guilt. but given how he keeps giving out personal info about his brother(to Wenshu) idk i just don't like it or him. i got a thing about loyalty & privacy & i wouldn't be dishing about info about a family member to a stranger, for sure not keeping them updated on my siblings every move - that just comes off f*cked-up to me. so yeah when the siblings of the mains r together i just skip the scenes cause i aint interested in either. **********************************************************************************************but liked how Wenshu put his father in his place & maybe that's why he is ready to meet Qing Lang, as Chang Yang is ready to introduce his significant other to his parents (or so i am sure his mother made it seem) even though given how the father spoke about gay people the meeting might not go well - time will tell - what i know is the only reason i keep coming back is the mains - they so good together, it's like the scene comes alive when they r around each other & i can't stop smiling. i really hope they get a happy ending together - the fact Qing Lang's mother & grandmother welcomed Chang Yang like he family gives me hope.

IrenaK The backstory Master Qingcheng left for Lifei to hear was quite informative. I already knew a few things, but this at least showed how Xiuyuan is linked to him — he was living with him during his childhood. 😌But now the whole world knows the Divine Tree has appeared again, and it looks like everyone will be out to hunt it. 🫣 Not sure if that was a good or a bad decision by those masters to announce it so widely, but it for sure will cause some problems for Cui Xuan to keep her just for himself! 🤨My hopes are for Yacha to come and rescue her, and then be Xiuyuan enough to not consume her. 🤞😟

the acting is really good & even though i know it's a scene within a scene, & i've seen Zhang Zhun's supportive senior as he is in real life. still the grape scene was a tough watch to sit through without averting my eyes. *****************************************but most of this ep being about the character's in the film then the actors bothered me - yeah u could say that they have long acting & r actually conveying their true emotion's in the scenes they r playing out. still i needed more of Zhang Zhun & Zhen Xin then Fang Chi & Gao Zhun. ******************************************************************************************************& when we finally got a bit of the actors, Zhang Zhun's fiancé's cockblock got in the way of that scene lasting longer (& no i don't mean i wanted them to make-out) just need longer scene with the emotional dialogue between the mains, as we only got 6 more eps to go - which isn't a little but it isn't a lot either, considering every ep get's over in a flash... ugh

BurntBaguettes I do not like these camera angles. Why do we keep zooming in like we are in a reality TV show? Please stop. Oh my God.I just realized they jumped into the water with jeans on. At least two of them did. What the fuck? SHE IS NOT BEYONCE IM ACTUALLY SICKKK. This show is the most embarrassing thing ever. I think I am going to die. I think I am going to die. There is no fucking way. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts is low-key a rich people thing. I do not know what these people's problems are. The train part feels very natural; I lowkey like it. Like they are teasing each other. Sure, he does not have a car, does not have a house, low-key broke as fuck, picked you up in an ambulance, but he would never cheat on you. He would never treat you like you are lesser, by the way, if you even care. Right. He would never come to your friend's fucking birthday party uninvited and propose to you and make you feel bad after he cheated on you for a year, by the way, in case you were fucking wondering. Also, New looks so cute in these bunny ears, by the way. Okay bye!

miikezebra Yea, I'm already in love with this show, I think this episode really sets the whole world and characters of the show, Kisarazu's weird people, our main characters.The way they introduce characters in the start was really good, I'd compare it to something like the Yakuza games if you ask me lolgood music and good direction to be honest, hope there won't be a downgrade in the next episodes!!

1st off have to start with the negative - Veha has done NOTHING to redeem himself & again we get v forgiving him just cause he made a sad face? like what?!??? so as much as i love Akki (Mond) & was looking forward to his romance plot - can't stomach the scenes with the 2nd couple - not with Akki also groveling & running after Veha kissing up to him. it's such a turn off to me. *thankfully the main couple r gold - they r so much fun & really enjoying how good they r together - but we couldn't have smooth sailing & the sec Toto offered to play act the pilot bf i knew that was a bad ide. espically if he was planning on a long term relationship why start of on a lie with Kanit's family & parents? bad bad idea - so glad that by the end it all blew up. & even though Kanit's father has valid worries & like any parents he wants his child to end up with the best of the best - Kanit should've been more vocal in why he chose Toto & just cause someone got statues & money doesn't mean they gonna be a good person or a loyal partner.*******************************************************************************************************side note: for a sec there i was happy to see Ohm suddenly pop-up but given the way Por (his character here) was looking at Kanit i though - is he gonna try & steal him from Toto. given the preview looks like he is after Toto. 3 more ep's to go - guess we need some drama lol

I actually wonder if the poisoning was meant for the Emperor and he just gave those cherries to Huayong out of fatherly affection? And now he's full of guilt about that, so all the things he does — like not naming his other sons "Hua", keeping Huayong as the Crown Prince, and calling him his most beloved son — are just to relieve his heart of that guilt? 🤔🤷♀️At the meeting with the princes, I had a feeling that the 5th prince either recognised some similarities between Shen Xihe and his late wife, or maybe his attention was caught by her philosophy on whether one should care about other people's words and thoughts, because that would imprison oneself? 🤨 I think Xihe being so similar to his wife will be what makes him fall in love, or at least feel interested in her.However, we didn't see the 2nd prince at the meeting. I know they said he had a wife who died, too. So, was the reason he didn't come because he's just not interested in marrying another woman? 🤷♀️I do love how Huayong acts so frail and innocent in front of everyone, but in truth, with the help of Tian Yuan, he just deceives the whole world! And the way he admires and praises pretty much anything Xihe does — whether good or merciless... the shock on Tian Yuan's face is always so priceless. He just can't with his boss, lol! 😩😂As for the last two, it's pretty clear now. The 4th prince's intentions were perfectly described by Huayong, so he's the one I would trust the least atm, and the 9th prince has just completely fallen for her. 😏💘

DianaYumi I inow we need to forgive because of God's law and everything when someone pays for it,but I think this is not right. The opposite candidate is using the real cause for personal gain and this thing about helping an innocent... I won't buy it yet. Let's see if the last episode is worth it.
