Jadekamin

In the second episode, we saw a real progression in the relationship between the main characters; Jade is clearly falling for Kamin, and serious clues are starting to emerge. I love the production, the directing, and the palpable tension between Jade and Kamin. It’s a fantastic series, and Dunk’s acting is truly i❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Joongdunk

The series is absolutely amazing! I love how the characters are introduced, and the main couple is just wonderful—their chemistry is incredible. Dunk’s acting is superb; he is naturally talented. Everything from the production and costume design to the cinematography and directing is flawless. I’m obsessed with this show and can’t wait a whole week for the next episode to see how the events unfold!"

Why the writting is like that ? :(

What the hell, that was so bad. Im dropping here. The actors were cool but the writing...The death wasn't necessary to be honest. The mains characters didn't need that to have another steps in their relationship. Im really disappointed, and I didn't realize the death before the end of the episode, like wtf ? Unecessary.

dude, the amount of character's introduced…

dude, the amount of character's introduced in the 1st 20 mins of the ep was ridiculous - like they actually think i am gonna remember even one if hysterical. what were they thinking... & cause of that & how they chose to start this i was bored & very uninterested - it's a bleedin miracle that i didn't fall asleep. the mains r cute Noh more so then Pun - who is very good looking for a 17yr old. but dude Noh is freakin 15 - he is a baby... so i get why the acting isn't smooth = good. but on a whole they were cute & did the job. ********************************************************************************************************************i've seen the 2014 BL this was adapted from & that was good. hoping this lives up to that. this for sure got a high rating so finger crossed this gets better as this progresses.

An engaging beginning

A dramatic and somewhat upsetting beginning. A rich family is suddenly thrust out of their lavish lifestyle, and now must move into a tiny seaside town. Lee Hye Sook, whose character doesn’t get a name beyond the girls’ mother, is fantastic as the wealthy woman turned poor overnight, trying to hold it together for their family while struggling with suicidal thoughts. The scene on the beach especially stuck with me.We start off with the main sisters as little girls, and their child actresses do an amazing job. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

romance development!

Good for Hye Jin and Jun Ho. I professed my disbelief last episode at the preview of Jun Ho kissing Hye Jin because I thought it was too soon for it, but my doubts have been cleared this episode. The plot progression and pacing was quite satisfactory in that I felt the kiss at the end was completely earned. It was so refreshing to see Hye Jin actually yell at the Director during their confrontation. She had all the right in that situation to express her true feelings because we as the audience can feel how much she was hurt. She raised a very good point that the Director broke the trust between them and of course trust is something that is very difficult to get back. I was also frustrated at how the Director made that long speech without ever once truly apologizing to her. Hye Jin deserved to yell and curse and let out her feelings. Do I think this conflict between her and the Director is solved? Not really, even though the Director got on his knees later to apologize, mostly because he did that under influence of alcohol. Tell me why Korean mean always have to be drunk or utterly miserable before they let their pride down and admit their wrongdoing.Otherwise, this was a Jun Ho and Hye Jin relationship-centered episode. The conflict where Jun Ho says that he doesn't want Hye Jin to keep sacrificing for him or keep seeing him as someone she needs to take care of felt very realistic even though it obviously hurt Hye Jin's feelings to hear it. He did the funny thing of trying to draw the line and then immediately doing a 180 by pulling her back to him. The part where he tells her that he wants her to go because if she stays then he'll want to keep her was a cleverly written piece of dialogue. Especially the part when he tells her that she can read between the lines aka understand that this is because he's attracted to her as a woman, which is a fun callback to how they're both Korean Lit professors, so they're both used to interpreting a passage and the author's voice.Pyo Chang Sub is still being really hard-headed, and since we've had so little time with him since episode one, he comes off as quite frustrating in his endeavors. I imagine that the next episode will still be centered on Hye Jin and Jun Ho's relationship, judging by the preview.

Some viewers don't seem to get it.

Reading viewer comments during the stream on Viki,it's pretty apparent that a lot of viewers just don't seem to get it that this show is a comedy - indeed that it is a PARODY of asian romance dramas. The comments make it clear that a lot of viewers are taking things way too seriously. At the start, they were hating on the ML for his over-the-top violent behavior. And now viewers are hating on the FL for her over-the-top cluelessness and mistakes due to her not really understanding how the plot has changed from the OG script. I loved this episode because it finally started to clear up some of the confusion and maybe that will sooth some of the haters. And it featured a throwback to one of the early fun trope mechanisms to do so. To any potential viewers out there: I recommend you have first watched a lot of C-Dramas so you can recognize and appreciate all the tropes they are making fun of in this series.

well hell, so much happened in this last ep…

well hell, so much happened in this last ep - but we got a happily ever after & i am happier that Bank got signed by Ryou's agent, then anything else that happened in this last ep lol. i get that he shared the blame cause his agent threatened to take him down with her, so he just did it himself - instead of dragging the whole mess out... so i am so glad that at the end, he didn't pay to seep a price. as he really wasn't at fault & that would be messed-up to just end this without some kind of positive closure for him. ****************************************************************************************************************************************this was such a cute BL, not everything was perfect - like i really didn't like the parents & Jed - not with how intrusive & meddlesome they were with Anda, one might as well have thought that he was still a kid, with how they kept trying to manage his life. Ryou was the life line he needed & came at the right time to not only allow him to breath, but enabled him a way to cut the umbilical cord Anda's parents & Jed refused to sever. Ryou gave him the freedom of choice to live his own life according to his own terms as he saw fit & Anda gave Ryou family. so this was really a very wholesome & sweet romance.

DNF— Lazy writing

Spoilers:What lazy freaking writing. They realized too far into the story that they dragged the reveal for too long and needed a way out so they off another character so they they can do the “Love is too short we better make up” thing. Not only that, they handled the death very poorly. This premise has so much promise and they sabotaged themselves at every turn. I can’t remember the last time I DNFed a show that I was interested enough in to get to the half way point. Usually I try an episode and realize its not for me. This is rage quitting and I own it.

am glad to be wrong & Bank wasn't…

am glad to be wrong & Bank wasn't the bad-guy, i should've kept trusting my gut instinct - it was that fatass & she did get the info from Bank, but it wasn't with ill intent he shared it. must have been talking to Book or Oat, she heard & then used it to try & bring down Ryou. the sad part is that she succeeded. the speed with which everyone dropped Ryou, was shocking. but that's sponsor's for u. but felt so sad when Anda dealt the final blow. i get why he thought he was doing the right thing. but now that Ryou was all alone, that was the last thing he needed, to lose the only person he loved & had in his life, other then his manager. guess Anda couldn't think of a better way to help him - but as the next ep is the last, their heartache wont get dragged out too long & we will get our happy ending. ************************************************************************************************Oat, Book & Bank r really good friends that everyone should have in their lives, as much as Book loved to joke around about the mysterious girl he had a crush on, the sec he saw his friend in pain he forgot all that & focused on making him feel better. really good people.

didn't except everything to turn sour…

didn't except everything to turn sour so soon. but as we 2 eps from the end we needed the "drama" so there would be a happily ever after after getting over the hurdle... meeh - what did surprise me is that Bank turned out to be the bad-guy, until his chat with Ryou in the locker room i was unsure. but from that moment onwards i was. pity he thinks breaking Ryou & Anda is the way to go. but i guess he was counting on the fact that Anda would never find out that he was the one behind the paparazzo & Jed is still investigating - hope he finds the answers before the mains break-up. which have a bad feeling is gonna happen in the next ep. i get Anda not willing to stop being friends with Bank as u don't discard good friends just cause ur bf says so... & yet after Ryou told him why, he should've either confronted Bank or tried to keep his distance. not break up as they study in the same class together. but stop hanging out with him alone - that's just rubbing salt on Ryou's wounds. & least he forget, he was far from a happy camper when Ryou's fan's came to ask for a pic.. he didn't leave the table just cause he didn't want his face in the pics, it's cause he hated that Ryou's attention was not solely on him. he was jealous too, so why can't he understand Ryou???

Never cried more in any 1st episode ever!

The beginning of the story was very emotional and the acting that carried this story was exceptional. Khaotung Thanawat gives a powerful performance as Lynx, who is the grieving son of Je Meow, the owner of Cat Cheer Cafe, a cat cafe. First Kanaphan as Tiger, the cat-lover debt collector becomes close with Je Meow in the last few months of her life. In this episode we see a little of the complicated relationship between Je an her son Lynx, along with Lynx's grief. First Kanaphan as Tiger gives a subtly supportive but beautiful performance that has captured my heart already. Eagerly waiting for Episode 2!
