Serenity05 I'm watching this for Tian Jia Rui, Riley Wang, and Joseph Zeng. Already it seems a little slow and unexciting. From the reviews I've read, it sounds like it won't get any better. I'll watch the first five episodes before I make a decision.

I loved this episode. Best 45 mins of my time in a long while. I adore the fact that this episode focused on the FL and her brother. I really like Tian Xi Wei and she is marvellous in this. Even though this is a romcom, the romance is still a bit away, but I am enjoying this so much. For me, everything depicted till now felt hit close to home though I'm no genius. But the emotions are very realistic. I could really understand the decision the characters made. Everyone feels so human and fallible. Even the ML's decision to be in a different team felt so real to me. Sacrifice is what's mostly depicted to show devotion. Wanting to prove yourself as an individual, even if you love someone a lot, is not often explored in such shows usually. Truly loved every single minute of this episode.

DBTE is developing as a fascinating study in how gossip and word of mouth shape and direct reactions and behaviours among those in a social circle. Heng is doing a terrific job showing us his conflict between his attraction to Big Jane and his susceptibility to the opinions of his peer group; I'm beginning to wonder about his judgement. Surely, at some point, Big Jane has to be asking himself whether someone so unsure of himself as Jane appears to be is worth pursuing.

NLE Another naughty episode dropped! I'm obsessed, but 168 hours of waiting for a 13-minute episode should be illegal. 😂And who carries ointment around like it’s a normal everyday essential?! And honestly, I’ve always liked doing it in the office. There’s just something about the thrill of it, and this series definitely nailed that vibe 😂And then the “You dirty old men!” line took me OUT 😹 I was laughing so hard!

Real UC Easily the best episode of the series so far. Loved that finally both the families were united (sot of). But this is not even halfway of the series. So I am a little apprehensive as to how the story will progress ahead. I really do not want some unnecessary side plots. Right now the story progression is A+ tier. I really do not want it to degrade. Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully, the drama will progress without any severe hiccups in the writing.

IrenaK It was nice to see them finally work together. Their minds are a perfect match and their other skills just complement their tandem. They should continue to stay as crime-solving partners from now on. And then maybe even cancel the cancellation of their engagement. 😏Cui and Lin were a blast to watch as always. Every episode I am waiting for a scene or two with them. 🥰 The way how Cui now looks at Lin always makes me smile, but I am a little sad that she distances herself from him because of that. I wonder what the reason is, and the only real conclusion I can make so far is because she's supposed to be a man. 🤷♀️😔But other than that, I would like to see where this trail with the Hu merchant will lead and who is the person the Duke of Ying answers to, because I am quite certain there's someone above him. Such an ill man wouldn't need those mines to forge weapons for himself, I reckon. And considering the Duke of Xie was hiding him, then he too might be involved in this conspiracy. 🤔I like Physician Xie and I saw how touched he was about HuaYong requesting the Emperor to give his dead mother such an honourable title and the Emperor granting it. 🥹🫂

jeoneungd I did my review on episode 11 stating I am on the fence with this series and wait u til last episode whether I like it or not. TBH and please don’t get upset but the way this show was written and the screenplay left me with more questions. I understand the ending which you have to wait until the credit ends to explain the why…but…in my own opinion the trope of a show within a show within another show is not easy to execute. It’s like watching Nolan’s “Tenet” which is a beautiful movie but needs several rewatch to catch up. Because of this confusion I also struggle with their romance, I was looking or grasping to find it from the beginning and truly never found it even til the end. Maybe I’m overthinking this series and like everything lose, what’s good for the gander may not necessarily be good for the goose. I am looking forward to future shows of these actors though hopefully not together. The music though, ecclectic and mostly English was done very well.

Hengic So after all Heng's sacrifice and care and love ... Meng left him alone for 3 months to go around the country and teach people how to share a cab! Ridiculous!I just hate Meng to the core! And what is going to happen to Heng's kingdom when he comes to the modern era?The ending is childish and nonsensical.I

When cruel words hurt more than lashes. I hate Meng in this episode.... No, I just hate her, always!She is constantly lying to everyone, she even tells her sister Ting, that Heng will get her killed which is a lie even based on the original script. She is constantly scheming against Heng, and then slanders him with lies about past wrong deeds she can't give even one xample of and acts so sefl righteously. Despicable and appaling. I don't think i can ever watch a drama with this actress in it. I will be reminded of Meng and get irritated.

When he asks her if she'd belive him, the look in his eyes and onbhis face just breaks my heart. Like he really needs someone to believe him and trust him. And when she says she won't, his reaction breaks my heart all over again. My poor baby Heng! 💔

Mira Love this episode so much cuz we got Qingyi and Le'an quality time without even knowing they are related. The whole Opium den alley showed how Qingyi has grown in frontier. I think this epi show Qingyi personal growth as a man and as a father. Su Su is still in her salty state and I wonder if she can overcome her trauma cuz up to now I have seen no light , but darkness from her. The highlight scenes are how Qingyi called out the hypocrisy of Su Su and his ex mom. Literally, I love the fact Qingyi got super motivation to be a father of his child from his evil mother. That kind of bad human can be a mother, why can't I be a father????Episode 27 will be another intense epi where the actual crime case will kick in into family melo.my favorite: A child is not a tool but a human being.

rosalice_ I'm trying so hard to understand Phatsa's side, like I'm seriously trying. I know he had been bitten without his consent, but the other is his mate. And we're at episode 4th. It's time to stop throwing tantrums and all. The alpha might've bitten him without his consent - because fated mates, because he couldn't resist - but the rest had always been mutual. Every time Phatsa talks to his alpha he sounds so childish that I can't bear with him anymore. He looked and sounded so damn cool in the first episode... where was that guy saving an omega just because he wanted to do the right thing? I'm mad. Beside this, the dynamics of the inner family bore me death, BUT the 2 side couples... I'm enjoying them a lot so I'm staying for them now.

Baejoo Was a slog through get through the first ep. Weird CGI mountain shots was goofy but the actions at least good. Usually I love second chance couple stories, comedy thriller melo whatever genre but this one, I don’t really know how or care about them fixing their relationship and getting back together. I root for the FL always, esp the wife over her husband in “both partners in a couple are in the wrong” stories, but this was the exact opposite. I even argued with someone who was defending the female lead when she was fully willing to let a poor man be disabled because she wanted to kiss up to a rich CEO. I don’t know how they can redeem her to be honest, right now she feels like the evil 2ndFL but I guess it’s at least a little bit different than the repetitive Chinese romance dramas with cookie cutter FLs I’ve been watching lately. I don’t really care if the female lead is found or if she’s dead and then the ML to go to jail for it. Hoping this gets better because nothing really makes me wanna root for any character for anything so farAlso, would it have killed them to take this really important picture they keep zooming in on to show main couple used to be happy at an actual mountain, not this obviously fake background. Surely they had the budget and it can’t be that expensive
