AND NOW TO ENSURE HUIJU DOESN’T GET BACKLASH THEY TRY TO MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH THEY ENDED THE RELATIONSHIP ON A GOOD NOTE BY INVITING HUIJU TO THE INNER COURT BANQUET FOR NOBLES EVEN THOUGH HUIJU A COMMONER. AND SO yian even KICKED HUIJU OUT of his house to “protect” her but then later she proves her point to yian by saying in order to protect someone you take on the offensive AND SO SHE ATTENDS THE BANQUET IN A WHITE MODERN SUIT, NOT WEARING THE TRADITIONAL OUTFIT THAT WAS PROVIDED, WHICH PISSED YIRANG OFF AND IT WAS THE SAME COLOUR AS YURANG’S OUTFIT WHICH WAS DISRESPECTFUL. SO DURING THE BANQUET THEY WERE TAKING A WALK IN THE HEAT, WHICH WAS AFFECTING HUIJU AND SINCE SHE WAS A COMMONER, SHE WAS AT THE BACK OF LINE UNTIL YIAN ARRIVED AND THEY LINKED IN THE ARMS AND YIAN TOOK HUIJU TO THE FRONT SINCE HIS RANK OUTRANKED EVERYBODY, SO NOW IM ASSUMING THEY’RE STILL TOGETHERRR.

So after the whole scandal and the kiss, the royal family decide to reveal that Huiju and .yian are in a relationship but have no plans for marriage since the public would be enraged if yian would marry a commoner. Afterwards, Huiju takes yian to a baseball game where jeongu was also there and it gets revealed that the prince can’t eat street food and afterwards they go to a seafood restaurant since jeongu mentioned Huiju had wanted to go before and yian tagged along since he got jealous of how close Huiju was with jeongu, and it also gets revealed that he can’t eat seafood due to the high risk of food poisoning, and then Huiju asks what other restrictions he experienced and he remembers back when he was just a kid and he got slapped MY POOR YIAN THAT SCENE WAS SO SAD BRO I WAS GONNA CRY ALL BECAUSE HE WORE HIS BROTHER’S ROBE AND IT WAS THE CROWN PRINCE’S AND IT APPARENTLY “MOCKED” HIS AUTHORITY. And later on, Huiju learns how yian lost his relatives one by one, his mother from a car crash in 2005, and his father from a heart attack in 2012, and his brother in a fire 2023, AND HIS BROTHER PROBABLY WANTED TO ABDICATE BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO LOSE HIS PLACE FROM THE THRONE LIKE HIS PARENTS DID DUE TO DEATH. So Huiju feels pity for yian on how he lost his relatives and calls him during his work time and comforts him by saying she’s always on his side. Afterwards, yiyun comes out of school and sees all the kids having fun together, and he mentions he wants to have fun so instead of having his history lesson with prime minister jeongu, he gets him to drive to yian’s house, and Huiju was there so everybody was playing with him and he won, and they made a wish beforehand that if he won he would be granted a wish, and so he wanted to drive in Huiju’s car, and at first they said no, since the car wasn’t approved, but he through a tantrum saying he was king (HE WAS SCREAMING IN THE FLOOR I WAS DYINGG) and afterwards he was allowed but suddenly as Huiju tried to put the brakes it didn’t work and it accelerated instead, so she went abridge and put the car against the railings, to try and stop it, and some random car, who we thought was jeongu’s car that was trailing yiyun and Huiju to ensure their safety, went in front of them to try slow them down but then the bridge and railing ended so the other car accelerated and stopped fully in front of them causing Huiju and yiyun to crash into the car. BUT GUESS WHO IT WAS?? IT WAS YIAN WHO CAME BACK FROM WORKK. AND BRO YIRANG SO DESPERATE TO GET YIAN MATCHMAKED WITH SOMEBODY ELSE LIKE CAN’T SHE JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE.

Her Gentleman I always try to anticipate what could come in the story next.But, man, I did not expect the storyline to go this way.It was developed and paced so nicely (and also maybe the effect of characters developing themselves since Episode 1) that I teared up.For those who have seen this episode, hope it all goes well. This episode was good in many respects. It had a nice kick off for Chenghuan's tenure as manager of Xing'Anli, gaining the trust and respect of her staff. And it also featured a "I like you" confession from Zhiming! The negatives were (a) he immediately chickened out and pulled it back awkwardly and (b) Zhang is setting up to be a stereotypical scheming c-drama villain who behaves irrationally. It would be nice if the writers used a little more creativity for the 2nd-half conflict for the show.

Is the show ever going to give Lu Wainyu (the FL's mother) a moment of enlightenment? A moment of personal growth where she finally - finally - actually comes to understand how wrong and destructive she is? Or is she going to be this painfully awful and annoying all the way through the series?

You think...a brutally handsome figure gets out of the car...first appears a boot...with short legs hahahha and then when you see him, with floppy ears, ugly...don't lean your bike on the guardrail...and the theatrical exit from the car just like that...but you're funny....like a cartoonAnd, yes, if the actors have not already graduated in acting, let them take acting classes, they will learn how a drunk person behaves...White socks with shoes/boots???? KJ2025 1997 Ran is being mocked by He for thinking Song would show up for the bag. There doesn’t seem to be anything valuable enough to get his attention. The two goons casing the cement factory are hilarious when they duck their heads and have the ‘you don’t see me’ act going on when Song’s car leaves the factory. They follow the Mercedes until they see it go into the police station. Ran has a moment of great satisfaction to be proved right. He grabs the bag and heads outside telling He ‘Come on, we’ll be seeing pigs climb trees.”😝🤣they follow the brother in law when he leaves with bag and it turns into a major cluster of a raid, followed up by a car chase. He’s car doesn’t do well off roading.😝The bro in law is talking to someon who knows about MengMeng and the documents. What bro in law forgot is that he stashed them on top of the cupboard and everything is still there. Scene shifts to 2015 and they are asking young officer He is she is assigned to the case of four missing kids. The cot does have an assignment for her, but it is considered a prank and minimal investigation is required. She is very disappointed in her new assignment but when her dad shows up she is even more annoyed. The found child’s mother is wanting help to prove her son’s innocence. Young officer He agrees to help her if she will stop seeing her father in regards to the case. She considers him a huge fraud. Scene goes to 1997 and He’s cpt is yelling at him for duping Song. He is annoyed with officer He failing to gather any evidence. Song wanted 30k for his car getting hit. He is going to track him down. Ran gets updated info that an underground parking lot at YuanLingLi gave a hidden entrance to the building. He and He’s daughter go to check it out and find property manager there. Ran did not question him about the bag but should have, even the little girl recognized a thief when she saw one. I am wondering if the cement is to hide MengMeng. Whatever the property manager thought was in bag turned out to be a bloody something. The episode ends here.

So yian goes to yirang’s place along with Huiju to apologise for the scandal and after yian and apologises he finds Huiju with yiyun eating instant noodles together since yiyun couldn’t sleep and OMG YIYUN SO CUETTETETE and as they’re discussing their gameplan on how to get the public to believed they’re in love, yian PINS HUIJU AND LEANS IN CLOSE AND SMILE S AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING IN THE MOMENT, AND BRO YIRANG SUCH A PISSTAKE SHE FAKES BEING ILL SO NOW THEY AHD TO POSTPONE THE MARRIAGE SINCE IN THE ROYAL FAMILY YOU COUKDN’T TALK ABOUT PLANNING CEREMONIES SUCH AS MARRIAGE WHEN A ROYAL ELDER IS SICK. Afterwards, Huiju comes home, to find her dad waiting for her and giving her a lecture on how she’s seeking attention, BUT I HATE HER DAD BECAUSE BRO ENEVER EVEN GAVE HIS OWN DAUGHTER HIS ATTENTION GROWING UP SO ITS NATURAL SHE’S GOING TO BE A TAD BIT ATTENTION SEEKING BUT SHE LOWKEY DESERVES THE ATTENTION BCS SHE BADASS AF. And before all this, Huiju gets a call from a yian and as they’re talking these high school girls come and throw eggs at her but Huiju hangs up on the call with yian and grabs them and gives them a whole lecture since they were fans of yian and didn’t like how Huiju was stealing him away. And since yian was worried for her safety and of other fans of his to attack Huiju, he moves Huiju to his PRIVATE RESIDENCE MIND YOU BUT THEN WHEN YIAN WAS AT A RITUAL, YIRNAG AUTHORISES THE QUESTIONING OF HUIJU AND THE TAKING OF HER BELONGINGS AND OTHER STUFF AT HER OFFICE SINCE THEY LABELLED HER A PRIME SUSPECT OF THE FIRE AT YIYUN’S BIRTHDAY BANQUET SINCE HUIJU WENT TO THE RESTRICED ZONE AS SHE GOT LOST TRYING TO FIND SIGNAL FOR HER PHONE, BUT SHE MET YIAN THERE SO MRS DO AND BUTLER (OR STEWARD) KIM GET YIAN BACK TO THE PALACE WHEN HUIJU WAS BEING TAKEN TO GET QUESTIONED BUT HE COMES ON TIME AND SAVES HUIJU FROM QUESTIONED AND SHE FAKES FAINTING AND HE PRINCESS-CARRIES HER TO HER ROOM SO NOW ALL THE WORKERS AT THE PALACE WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW IN LOVE THEY WERE, and when yian was working Huiju visited him, so it would like they were more in love to the public AND GOSH IS THERE CHEMISTRY GOOOD and suddenly YIAN GRABS HER CHEEK AND KISSES HUIJU AND SHE SHOCKEDDD.

It was nice to see the stronger bonds being formed between first Changyu and Grand Tutor, who formally become an adoptive daughter - father pair, and second the bond of close friendship between Changyu and the disguised Princess Qi Shu (the Physician). These two share a common struggle of loving men who they are separated from by social standing - though in opposite ways. Ultimately, these two relationships will probably become important as part of elevating Changyu's social status in the capital later on. These social connections are of course, just as important as her inevitable military merits. So those parts of this episode are quiet but more important than they might seem. Beyond that, the plot, as predicted, contrives to separate the FL & ML as they pursue separate agendas and Changyu continues to have doubts about the vast social standing gap between Xie Zheng.and herself. After dragging out the lie hiding Zheng's true identity for some, 26 episodes, I fear the show is now going to lean into keeping them separated by social standing for another long, long, annoying stretch before finally resolving things - probably with some reveal about her parent's true identities. On side stories, I love how Zhou Xun so heroically guarded and guided young Bao to safety (with a little assist from Ning Ning's whistle) and into the arms of 'Uncle Yan'. And the mental strength of Yu QianQian, given her circumstances, has to be mentioned. Her ability to hold it together and still play mind games with her psychotic captor Qin Min, is impressive.

This episode was good for closing up a lot of the many different 'misunderstandings' floating through the plot including, of course, the biggest one in that Fan Changyu finally learns that her husband is the Marquis of Wu'an. This reveal is greeted with rightful upset by Changyu over having been deceived for so long but also more significant to her, the realization of the vastness of the social gap between them. So while it resolves the misunderstanding / lie /deception between them, it still leaves a tension pulling them apart. Aside from that, this episode also resolves identity confusion between Changyu and the Grand Tutor in a nice adoptive father-daughter scene. So all that sounds nice, but by the end of this, I'm kind of left with a bad taste in my mouth over just how much the script relies on dragging 'misunderstanding tropes' out. Even with the resolution of the above, it's clear the script is going to continue to lean into separate agendas that are not explained to each other to keep separating the leads. It's just starting to feel like a lot of the storytelling in this series could be compressed if not for the script simply dragging things out again and again in well-executed, but nevertheless contrived ways.

I don’t care for MiYu’s and Ji’s habit of downing whatever proof in a glass when upset. That leaves them both mind muddled and causes doubts later. In HongKong, Tan knew by her draining the glass she was upset. He would not pass up his chance, but he was not completely surprised at the rejection either. MiYu is ashamed of herself because she knew her actions gave him hope and she regretted that choice. When she returned there was an invite from Marcos to a special gathering. Ji was also invited and MiYu made sure they did not arrive as a couple. Her timing was impeccable because right when he was saying her duties prevented her coming she is the lady in red regally walking down the staircase to meet them. Marcos gently bullies Ji to take her dancing and let her know how he feels, but Ji saw Tang’s txt asking to meet and he’s debating what to do with that. He rescues MiYu from an aggressive wannabe dance partner by posing as her partner and again when her sister’s snobby friend shows up calling her Mrs Nie by correcting her that MiYu was unescorted and came by personal invitation from the host himself. MiYu reintroduced herself with her maiden name so ms snob wouldn’t forget it in future. I liked her being shut up and put in her place but MiYu is again slamming down an entire glass. After an impromptu dance she excuses herself and leaves. Ji is rebuffed in his attempt to accompany her home and he assumes she is meeting up with Tang. And here is where he has his glass of liquid courage. After this, there is way too much screen time invested in a montage of prior episode scenes. The end result is a very steamy night where they finally give way to their passion. Diva Duan is caught by chef again in a vulnerable situation and she again decides to sympathize and make him feel better. In spite of the flirtatious challenge at the end, I’m still not feeling it. I really don’t see them as a couple, but I do see them as close friends in spite of his high maintenance spoiled boy ways. They just understand each other for reasons I cannot fathom. I did enjoy her response about depending on mood while she speeds off on motorcycle leaving him stranded. If they ever did become a couple, it would be like the War of Roses movie.😂 When she is not soft and lifting his spirits, they have far too much fun baiting each other. Ms influencer takes a nose dive when popular opinion wants to cancel her. The board wants to kick her out of her own company. Ji is called to the rescue and the press makes it all seem very intimate. Her reaction to his arrival puts him first in her mind and while he said he sorted where they stood, I would have much rather seen that conversation than all the past scenes they wasted time on. MiYu should not have cut him off when he tried to explain. Since she did, she should have stopped the conversation til she cooled off instead of continuing it with her assumptions of where their relationship stood. He has no reason to give about why no txt to let her know an emergency was happening and he would fill her in later. And after the publicity at the book signing, it was a very feeble excuse that he had no idea how much it would blow up in the media. Ms An has returned from maternity leave and instead of taking the office job they all expected her to take she opts to return to the lobby manager position. MiYu has requested a transfer with her job and Mr Tan has asked if he could pursue her right as the episode ends. My only complaint of this episode is that there was too much time wasted on scenes already watched when we were going to get slammed with third party efforts from both sides. First episode for me rolling my eyes at all the extra drama thrown in to completely negate their passionate scene. I still love her character, but I am not enjoying the forced romance and peripheral entanglements when they could just keep it career heavy with a sweet aside of romance with the promise of passion. I cannot even guess where their story is headed now but I am seated and waiting to see even tho I am not happy with the creative choices hauling them in different directions.

nero truong i am only just now noticing the left exit door in the class+room & it’s really beautifully designed with the red orbital & the ravens. it wsas really nice to have an episode dedicated to the rest of the students ，so many of them got a moment to shine ，ikt was just really pleasant. i wasn’t like in love with the execution though but i don’t think i can really point out where it fell short for me. i was really invested in the earlier dialogue where they dismissed their class+mates as being too child☆ish because i do like when things like that gets focus because that’s a mahor part of being a teenager i feel. i really enjoy what they’re doing with yamaguchi & like i said before nakama yukie is really doing great in the role during some of the best moments of her character wrting+wise. i also think it’s cute how the clan members also step up to provide important voices just like the supporting class+mates outside of our main cast.
