Good start

Ok, i will look forward. This Loki character is interesting. It makes me curious to see more of his problem solving tactics, and something about his mysterious persona is addictive.

this whole ep - well this whole BL is anticlimactic…

this whole ep - well this whole BL is anticlimactic & basically a soft core porno.... which i feel bad more for the actors, that dream of making a name & making it big, then myself that wasted my time watching & fast-forwarding larger parts of this. well better luck next time. even though IMO Poom got a LOT of work to do, for him to be considered a good actor - sorry... & the 2nd might as well have not existed as i just skipped over any scenes with them. ***************************************************one more ep to go & i can't wait for this to be behind me, as i don't see how this can get mildly entertaining at this point.

the majority of this ep was a fluffy piece…

the majority of this ep was a fluffy piece - which it has been throughout this BL so no surprises there & sorry but for a woman that wants grandchildren, human babies can't be exchanged with animals, no matter how cute they r. cause the want for a grandchild isn't just so their child will have family, but for the continuation of their line. not to mention someone being there for their child, when they r old & grey. when the parent isn't around to look after them. so yeah cute way to solve the issue, but a bit b.s. when u really think about it. ************************************************************************************************also idk why Lynx shocked that his mother would want to pass on her powers to Leo, she considered him a son & the more important factor, he didn't detest cats. plus why would she want to burden her son that doesn't want any part of the cat life? with the ability to communicate with cats?!? but we needed some drama for the finale, so it is what it is...

Salt, Secrets, and Reckless Hearts

First ImpressionThis episode felt like quiet tension building into something bigger… with a mix of care, strategy, and just enough chaos.Episode ThoughtsThe episode opens with the Royal Princess calling out the ML for keeping the FL in the dark about his identity. It’s implied he’s doing it to protect her, but honestly… that excuse is wearing thin. The FL overhears just enough to raise questions but not enough to get the truth. While tending to his wounds, she realises they aren’t healing properly because there’s no salt — something that feels small now but definitely important for later. What stood out is how similar the FL and Royal Princess are. Both care deeply about the soldiers and are willing to put themselves in danger — just in different ways. The Royal Princess tests herbs on herself, while the FL throws herself directly into risky situations.Meanwhile, strategy takes centre stage as the standoff continues. The ML proves again he’s a brilliant strategist, but it’s frustrating how long he’s dragging out revealing his identity. Especially when it’s so clear the FL cares for him — she’s literally risking herself so he won’t get hurt.Things escalate when the FL and the thug boys discover Sui Yuanhuai is being held hostage. Their confrontation with him is intense — he’s still smug, still taunting — but they don’t take the obvious route. Instead, she publicly humiliates him, using him as leverage in a bold, almost highwayman-style move: send supplies… or else. And honestly, the moment they threatened him? The confidence disappeared real fast. But actions have consequences. When they return with food, they’re punished for breaking military rules. The ML clearly wants to teach her a lesson, but what he’s missing is that her recklessness always comes from a place of care — this time, to help him heal.Character NotesFL: Her compassion continues to define her. She doesn’t hesitate to put herself in danger for the people she cares about, especially the ML. There’s a quiet strength in how she acts rather than speaks.ML: Still a brilliant strategist, but his refusal to reveal his identity is becoming frustrating. His intentions may be protective, but it’s starting to feel like a flaw in his judgment.Royal Princess: A really interesting parallel to the FL. She’s just as selfless, but in a more controlled, calculated way.Sui Yuanhuai: Still as insufferable as ever — smug until he’s not.Mr Jin (thug boy): His feelings are becoming more obvious, and honestly… a little heartbreaking knowing the FL only has eyes for the ML.Final ThoughtsThis episode balanced strategy, emotion, and character dynamics really well. The tension is building, and with secrets still being kept, it feels like something big is about to break. Definitely excited (and slightly stressed) for what’s coming next.Favourite MomentThe FL turning the situation around and publicly humiliating Sui Yuanhuai — bold, chaotic, and completely satisfying.Trope Check• Secret Identity• “I’m protecting you by lying”• Smart Female Lead• Love Triangle (one-sided)• Reckless but Caring Heroine• Strategic Mind Games

Blessings in disguise

Bai MuRan still thinks he has the fortitude to not align with YuCi. I don’t think he realizes his loving gf set YuCi up to look sick and then imprisoned her in the hospital along with YuCi’s dad giving LiangLiang free rein to keep her there. I don’t think he is smart enough to grasp just how manipulative his gf really is. He should have noted it when she so confidently claimed YuCi’s data as her own ability at the Lysen presentation. The same logic he used on YuCi applies to him. Do you really think LiangLiang was attracted to you? She leeches off the power of Gma and will step over you in a heartbeat. He is such a clueless boy.😝Chen Xi is a vampier version of Bai LiangLiang😝we don’t know how smart she is because she’s too busy using sex appeal and blackmail to get what her lover boss needs. It is not surprising that she and LiangLiang team up to try to get YuCi. Too bad they don’t have the brain power even when combined to be more than a nuisance factor. Meng was thrown all the work to ‘welcome’ her to dept 2. Then Chen Xi took all her data from dept three so she would no longer have access. Not only was her work taken but her pregnancy was announced as a part of the welcome.😝It is no wonder that YuCi wanted no partnership with this company when the others wanted to sell ChuXia. They stand for everything she most despises. Yu’s volatile temper is trying to get him into trouble and Ren is trying to calm him down to see the big picture. They now have access to all of dept two’s projects via Meng. Older projects will be ignored because they are all focused on the one they stole from dept 3. YuCi and Ren have teamed together to drive this point home to Meng. It is a bit forceful, but it is to salvage the damage and rescue themselves from under the bondage of the ‘ladies club’ at the top. They want Meng to audit every project to find the dirt on Chen Xi. This will also make her uniquely the only one knowledgeable about all their projects should either Chen Xi or Liang Liang get replaced. She is being given a monumental task, but she was also encouraged and supported. YuCi is doing a deep dive into MuRan’s finances and Rao is getting slammed from debt collectors thanks to his favorite ‘daughter’. The one he dotes on that sets him up😝 LiangLiang used this tactic to get YuCi barraged with debt collector calls. What a sweet ‘bestie’.😝 We finally get the backstory of Chen Mo. The boy who could hear with deaf mute parents. YuCi saw for herself that he helps her mother and looks out for her. He is not what she thought. They have things in common and tragedy might bond them if she can trust him. She kept him from doing something stupid when he was grieving for his lost parents. I am wondering if these were the two lost in Rao company fire because they could not hear alarms or yell for help. It was a unique perspective to consider happy family silence vs stricken and alone silence. That to the heart, silence has a sound that leaves its mark. I found it interesting that she came down in a couples outfit matching Chen Mo. It is the first time I have seen her in a light color. She is starting to see the sun again tho very slowly. The more we see of their history and current events, the easier it is to understand why her two best ‘friends’ should not be forgiven. Even when naming the company those two were sending eye messages to each other. Ever so slowly the wheels of justice are turning. I am really enjoying this story. It is an intriguing tale of good vs evil. I don’t have issue with YuCi switching roles as required to accomplish this. I see this story as character rather than plot driven. Watching these two minds at work to outmaneuver each other is a guilty pleasure I am throughly enjoying.

Kiss Now, Think Later

Episode 25 of Pursuit of Jade had me stressed from the preview alone, and wow, it really said “anxiety but make it cinematic.” I’ve been rooting for Chang Yu’s whole naive, fish-out-of-water charm, but this time her bravery crossed into “girl, please think first” territory and gave me secondhand embarrassment on max volume. I get it, she’s a pig butcher with zero exposure to military rules, but dragging Sui Yuan Qing out in the open with the Pig Butcher Squad and yelling from a cliff like it’s some dramatic street performance? I nearly hid behind my pillow. That said, I can’t dump all the blame on her because if Xie Zheng had just come clean and given her a crash course on how a military camp actually works, maybe she wouldn’t have gone full YOLO. The whole contrast between his carefully planned strategy and her chaotic intervention was almost comical, though Yin Gong Sun lowkey spinning it as a win saved the vibe a little. Still, Xie Zheng’s “ridiculous” said everything, and when he showed up as Yan Zheng in the tent, that lecture hit hard. Zhang Ling He absolutely delivered, like sir was commanding even in commoner mode, and the way he balanced being a strict leader while also willing to take punishment for his wife? Husband of the year, no contest. He’s not blind to her mistakes, but he’s also ready to shield her, and that duality is chef’s kiss. The episode really said cliffhanger rights only, cutting off right when he was about to be caned and Chang Yu rushed in like a last minute plot twist DLC. Annoying? Yes. Effective? Also yes. Thankfully, it wasn’t all stress because the romance came in clutch. Qi Shu surprised me in the best way, she’s not just a sheltered princess but actually thoughtful, brave, and kind, and her testing medicine on herself instantly earned my respect. Yin Gong Sun watching her faint was peak “oh no, I’m down bad” energy, and Li Qing really sold that soft, lovestruck shift. Then we get to the main couple and oh my days, Director Zeng Qing Jie knows exactly how to make a single glance feel like a whole love confession. The tension, the close ups, the way Xie Zheng looked like he was starving for that kiss, I was like hello, is this a period drama or a romance masterclass? And when Chang Yu kissed him back with that “now we’re even” energy, it flipped the mood into full spring blossom fantasy. A tiny scene, but it hit like a finale moment. So yeah, this episode had me annoyed, flustered, and giggling all at once, and if episode 25 was this chaotic, I’m both scared and excited for episode 26.

The pieces are moving

Mr Jiang’s tendency to be led around by his lower appendage is so damn prosaic considering how intelligent he is supposed to be. Now Gma has put him in his place and LiangLiang is back. She and Chen Xi have joined forces to go against YuCi. Dept 3 went to the vendors with very detailed data and the promise they would not have to lay off any employees. This tactic beat Bosi who offered more money but at the expense of sacrificing workers. This made Lysen’s offer much better for the managers of smaller companies that wanted to remain intact. Thanks to Chen Xi’s maneuvering, the project that dept 3 earned was changed into a contest between them and dept two. The winner would be the one with the best presentation. Even with the surprise support of HR director, Ren, Yu could not be rescued this time. Meng was forced to turn over the details and YuCi finished the dirty work for her and sent the email with all their data. She told Meng not to worry, to just do whatever they said and that she would take care of the rest. Ren made the mistake of letting them present first and they used dept 3 data for their presentation. Yu lost it when YuCi said they were not presenting. Jiang knows their data was stolen he had seen the preliminary stats already, but he chose to see it as a failure of dept three. That he let the theft slide annoys the hell out of me. He knew the truth and didn’t give a rip. 😝 When he said dept 3 chose to give up I wanted to smack him. He returned the favor to YuCi that she did to LiangLiang because he was annoyed LiangLiang was back and Chen Xi demoted. He did this to keep his lady happy and I am as pissed off as Yu she is getting away with it.🤬Ren moved Meng to dept 2. She also did this without informing Jiang first. Yu is extremely pissed off that she transferred his best and most loyal colleague. . Ren encourages Meng to pay attention to their projects. However, the real mole, Samira Yang, is still in department 3. He is regretting his choices but still won’t own up to it with his superiors. The dept change will hopefully make things better for Meng and the baby since their offices are in significantly better condition. Here is where MuRan finds out that he has been on his leisure since back due to gma and LiangLiang’s maneuvering. Jiang was more than happy to let him know that his Gma got LiangLiang back to work and that LiangLiang encouraged Jiang to keep him out of projects and resting after his time overseas. Jiang congratulated him for his gf looking out for him so well. Gma has very thorough messaging in how she does things. The discarded meat for Jiang and the servile task of daughter in law to show MuRan. She lays it out for them completely with minimal words and it drives the point home. I now understand YuCi’s dress code. It is clear her brain is the only asset being offered. She puts nothing else on the table. Chen Mo has offered to be her knight and she has declined. I am thinking he will stick around anyways just like Ren does for Yu. A very sullen MuRan is driving off with YuCi when the episode ends.

Thrilling ep.

Another action packed ep. I'm really happy and proud that XingKe has his life put together after prison, and even though he still likes FWZ, he's open to finding a gf and moving on with his life. I truly wish him the best!

EPISODE 3 IS INSANE

Episode 3 is kind of episode that leaves you staring at your screen like “wait.. I need a second.” The breakup scene is actually crazy. The way Park Jinyoung cries??? insane. I didn’t even cry at first, but my chest and throat felt so tight watching it. also, seeing Taeseo go to the military alone in the middle of a snowstorm.. yeah, that’s where i cried so hard after hold. It just hurts so bad. Why is his life this hard..I just want to hug him!

FINISHED IT

OMG this kdrama really enlightened me in the sense that even the strongest of loves don't always win. I don't really hate yijin to be honest because for some careers are just as important as their personal lives and how could he have supported heedo whilst he was struggling to support himself yet it wasn’t his right to experience that misery alone when he should’ve shared with heedo. And she was left all alone countless times because he couldn't meet up with her so I felt bad yet I understand that he wouldn't risk his career like that since just 10 years ago he considered himself a failure due to the imf crisis. AND BRO they broke up at the same place they met (outside her house) AND SEUNGEAN WORK FOR ENTERTAINMAINT AND REALITY SHOW AT LBS. a news company I think and jiwoong made his own fashion business after his website took off with all the photos of models and how everyone loves his fashion style, yurim opened a fencing club school after she retired. Now everyone’s gone their own way EXCEPT YURIM SND JIWOONG WHO ARE GETTING MARRIED AFTER HE PROPOSED TO HER IN FRONT OF HER STUDENTS AFTER PRETENDING TO BE ONE OF THE THEM AND INITIATE A MATCH WITH HER AND SHE DIDNT CLOCK UNTIL HE TOOK OF HIS MASK.

Oshin and Kayo are true love

I said what I said. Oshin’s true love is always Kayo. She even said she would do everything for Kayo when they were 8. True love doesn’t have to be about romance, does it? Anyway, sadly, I think that mindset of serving husbands in Asian women still exists today. A ‘good woman’ is taught since childhood that she should obey and follow her father until she gets married, then after marriage, she should obey and follow her husband until he dies, and when one’s husband dies, one must continue to follow and obey her own son. That’s what I grew up hearing a lot from the elderly and even from school.
