This was one of the weaker episodes. The whole thing with the weird "Steve" character who was spying on them was just awkward. The fact that they didn't have him arrested by the police right away was already bizarre. That they then went to dinner with him was even more bizarre. This part of the episode just didn't really make any sense. The rest was good, though.

Why-TF did this have to end this depressing, cause even if it's left open with Lei Zexin back to being with Amur, he still very sick, sick enough that without treatment he might die, heck with it he might die. so how can this ending be anything but depressing?!? *************************************************************************************************************************this was good & yet i am sad lol, very good looking actors, good acting by everyone, beautiful scenery & sad freakin ending. idk how to rate this - i liked it if i ignore the last ep. even if i rewatch it will be only 5 ep's long... aish

i am kinda confused, if Lei Zexin loves Amur so much & wants to be with him, why he basically say it was time to leave, even before he confessed to the fact that saving him from the wolves, cost Xiaohei his life?!? saying Amur already knew he needs to leave & then after the confession, saying he would stay forever - doesn't seem like anything but a sacrifice made cause of guilt. Amur was right to get angry & tell Lei Zexin to leave. *******************************************************************************btw (& don't care if i am nitpicking) if wolves attacked & almost dragged him away, before Xiaohei jumped in to save him, how come he hasn't lost an arm or suffered from major blood loss, cause of the depth of the bites. 2ndly even if he saw/had/found Xiaohei's nametag - even if there was an address on it, how he find Amur's guesthouse in the middle of nowhere?!? or cause that was the only place lit up to the nines, he hoped he reached the right destination?!?

the whole scene at the end, the setting the scenery it was so freakin romantic... it feels they r in garden of Eden all alone - population of two. it's quite charming & fantastical. & even though Mongke dropped by with the weekly(?) groceries, staying over night, he didn't intrude on the lovers.. ******************************************************************************************but there is this niggling feeling that this gonna end sad - idk why. Lei Zexin cause he is all alone in this world, every word he utters is his attachment not only to Amur but to the grasslands. making me wonder if Amur is gonna be the one to take a step back. also still wondering is Xiaohei, Amur's dog out & about playing or did he die?!? & Amur loved him so much he can't admit to his death???

2nd ep a kiss, 3rd they already in bed... starting to worry this might go downhill from ep 4 onwards. hope i am wrong. ***********Amur is adorable & goofy but the dude sounds like a conman, 1st he wanted Lei Zexin to be a partner in the vet office he was gonna open, next he wanted to sell him a plot of land.. what next??? but Lei Zexin smart he ended up buying Amur lol

This is actually really well done, at least for the time; even now, the plot holds up. The ship not so much, but still. I understand why he stood there but also he def deserves to live with that grief. Its still going, holy fuck. OH FUCK, WHAT THE HELL, THAT'S FUCKED UP. HOLY DARK. HE WAS GONNA KMS AND THEN HE WAS GONNA KILL MED. YEAH'S LIFE IN JAIL. FAKE REMORSE IS FUCKED. HIS FINAL MEMORY IS YOU STARING AT HIM AS HE DIED. Good acting for everyone with the ghost shit. Why does bro have an American flag in his room? Dying young is awful, because people forget about you so easily, because no on really knows you. I guess the family has a type...he likes basketball and his whole room is covered with it. I lowkey love this show, it is so peak. They have no chem though, but its fun. I wish they did more with the uncle or grandpa, like killed him or something. AWK KISS, MAINLY FROM OHM. BC BRO DOES NOT LIKE GUYS LOLLL. Dang the whole cast here. Broke his moms heart and now hes breaking his heart. fucking funny af. Okay we had chem for a split second there. Interesting endnig. They could have done more but thats fine. 8.5/10 okay bye!

A fascinating time, less Thai drama. WHY WOULD THEY HIDE HIM? A very tricky show, I cant lie. The connections are fun. Why didnt they tell her? Why did they block his room off and forget about him? I think he was killed or killed himself. Thats my suspicion. SAW WHO. BITCH WHAT THE FUCK. 9.5/10 okay bye!

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 2

A good connecting episode. It built up a lot of what the first episode introduced and in a way that I felt made the characters a little more interesting, especially Jun Ho. He's clearly a very confident character, and his confidence does come across as arrogance, especially in the first episode, but with his interactions with Hye Jin and especially his parents, his determination really comes through? Like he's not someone who's just full of hot air or living with rose-colored glasses, he's also someone who is determined to make his way. He sets goals and makes promises that he's fully confident in carrying out. I think that makes him more impressive as a character, and it makes his potential journey much more interesting to watch because I absolutely would like to see how he fails and how he bounces back from that failure.I also liked Hye Jin's conflict in this episode. She's someone who's made it clear that she's pretty much concerned with results, but then her own thoughts and actions come out to be contradictory, because she was so concerned with Jun Ho as a person. I really liked the juxtaposition between her and Pyo Chang Sub. Chang Sub who looks down on her for not being a "teacher", and yet he's the one making his students' lives harder because of his own pride, while Hye Jin swallows her pride in order to let Jun Ho go his own way. So technically, you could say that she is way more of a teacher than Chang Sub is. I liked how we also got more from the hagwon Director, who has a strong relationship with Hye Jin. He cares about her as a person and as an instructor. He's also not from an educational background. I liked the small detail we learned that he used to make movies and he's only in academies because he pivoted from a previous failure. It makes his obsession with "star quality" make much more sense now.I enjoy the hagwon atmosphere because it feels familiar, but it's also different enough that it's not pulling me into terrible PTSD memories of after school studying. I do think it's interesting that we don't have a main "student" character, and instead are relying on more minor characters to relay the students' perspectives. I wonder if that will change in the future. But overall, a good second episode.

here's to being breakfast lol... if i said the scenery was beautiful in the previous ep, the scenery from Lei Zexin's guestroom was visually stunning, waking up to that would be awe inspiring. loving the chemistry between the guys - they kinda adorable & get not wasting time, they all alone in a world of their own. why not. *******************************************************************but wondering why only Lei Zexin asked about the dog's name & didn't mention that it looked like the black dog that saved him from the wolves. also not nitpicking but if wolves were to get at Lei Zexin i doubt his wound would be so mild - just saying... ****side note: but guys r good looking, but the actor playing Lei Zexin is just WOW - talk about eye candy

It’s surprisingly not a one-sided crush. What does the title even mean? How do you not know when you died or you died? Also, how come he can touch him, but he can fade through walls. How does that work? He has terrible friends, who are one-dimensional af. Literally, he just needs space. OHHH, I MISSED THE FACT THAT HE IS STUCK IN THIS WORLD BECAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW HE DIED. I HAVE TWO BRAIN CELLS AND NEITHER OF THEM ARE WORKING RN. RANDOM ASS BASKETBALL PLOT, FOR BLANKS AND GIGS TO WASTE OUR BUDGET. WHEN DID THE WHOLE FRIEND GROUP GET HEREE? OH thats sad, he was worried they werent gonna like him bc he likes guys. Especially a ghost at that. HE USED TO DATE HIS MOM???????/ HUHHHH. 9/10 this whole show is tricky but i like the connections. okay bye!

i wonder what the circumstances of their earlier meeting was! she seems so happy in the past :( i love how earnest the ML is. Also really enjoying the completely unrealistic displays of strength - nothing i love more than a romcom that leans into the com!

loved the cinematography, beautiful scenery this the 1st time i saw such a place in a Chinese BL, guess when the Singaporean mentioned the grasslands, it means in Mongolia - Amur, the medical student made me feel that, that's where this story was taking place. as is there isn't much info; not in the description of the plot nor about the actor's heck i don't even know one of the character's names. hope we get more info about the mains & this doesn't end up being a two passing trains in the night scenario.
