this ep felt like filler - there was so much…

this ep felt like filler - there was so much crap - but throughout this BL i don't know why we needed so many annoying side character's, that added nothing but a lot of noise - for that Jade was enough, the dude is a total moron (& not in a funny endearing way - he plain annoying) & without all those pointless scenes, this could've gotten wrapped up by ep 8. ***************in this whole ep, other then the stepdad getting carted off to prison, his b*tch of a wife making a huge scene, the "talk" between brother & sister - where i don't why, she had to refer to herself in the third person - moronic. & the best bit was King taking Uea to meet his parents & then the end, when King's mother stopped by to give her OK to both son & future son-in-law. ************now she is a caring mother, she might be tough on the outside but she got a good heart. even though given Uea's mother, i am worried what happens when these two cross paths. as i doubt Uea's mother will leave him be - especially now that her dear hubby aint around to finance her lifestyle. guess she will be addressed in the last ep.

The Captivating Miss Rong Shanbao

The setting is a beautiful, mountainous region of China where a wealthy matriarchal family of tea growers runs the surrounding 300 plantations and has been in control of the region for several centuries. We are introduced to the stunning, cool-and-in-control Miss Rong Shanbao. Her beauty, her discernment, her fairness, her fearlessness—we learn much about her character, a total badass, right off the bat in this episode. She goes undercover to learn who’s the mastermind of the numerous kidnappings of women who worked in her tea fields. But, her efforts are thwarted by the overzealous and over-righteous new young magistrate, our ML, Lord Lu Jiang Lai, who also has been examining these incidents. He means well, but it’s clear that his arrogance is going to get him into trouble. Sparks fly between these two even though they only glimpse each other briefly from afar.

this ep had it's ups & downs. i liked…

this ep had it's ups & downs. i liked the scene where Uea went to meet his aunt, she such a normal woman in comparison to that witch of a sister (Uea's mother) wish we would know what happened for them to lose contact, cause even if the sister's fell out, couldn't she keep in touch with the abused child = Uea?!? *********************************************************************& i liked the whole ousting Krit the perv from the office, even though how King got access to the security cam footage is beyond me, but that whole issue was rushed & solved in a blink. *******************************************************************even the conversation at the end was gratifying as the mains were finally communicating or rather Uea was opening up about his trauma. but everything else was utter crap. cause after everything King has done & keeps doing he still needs to prove himself to Uea?!? why??? given ALL his baggage, one would think he would be on his knees thanking the gods that someone like King looked his way, let alone is bending over backwards to make his life easier at every turn, removing obstacle's & shielding him for anything that would bother him, let alone hurt... King is like a freakin fairy godmother in a hot bod & a handsome face, but Uea playing hard to get, cause it's cute?!? nah - miss me with that sh*t. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i don't believe a pedo that targets children will then target adults. there is a reason they target children, adults r scarier & harder to handle. so Uea's stepfather's other victims being adults is a reach. but i guess this another rush job. even though i wonder why every problem is getting solved so fast, as there still 2 more ep's to go. i guess the mother issue needs to be solved. that's gonna be a hell of a bad joke - i have a feeling, as Uea said the reason he can't go home was his stepfather & not his mother, who IMO is the main culprit - main bad-guy in this story!

Beautiful...

I am so sad this has ended. And even though they cut the wedding scenes, there was a tribute to their wedding and I was okay with it.

One Stars

OMG but this was an infuriating ep - where to start, i get King getting angry at Uea's rejection, as i understood why Uea took a step back given his trying & King backing out of the vaca... but still, King kept vigilant guard around Uea cause he knew Krit was lurking. but am sorry, But getting called after hrs when the office is deserted to Krit's office - then seeing him lock the door - why go in? why NOT unlock the door - who was gonna walk in???? & what business secrets was Krit gonna discuses with a freakin graphic designer, that he needed to lock the door?!? still happy that at least this time Uea did more then just shout for help. personally wish he picked up that potted plant & brought it down on his head for good measure. *************************** but the next day not filing harassment or assault charges, is beyond me. like WTF after that i wouldn't be able to be in the same room with the f*cker, let alone be civil towards him. ********************************************************************************here it took the f*cker going to Uea's home, for him to threaten him? & then even, what does he do he resigns - that's an empty threat. Krit will just move on to his next victim. *************************************************************************************but the messed up part, was the whole confrontation with the family, that sister is a moron & it annoyed me - her trying to get Uea to stop. but what frustrated me, was how long it took Uea to open his mouth & then too he sounded more like a child questioning his mother, then one accusing her of all her wrongs. & sorry but the most important part was never said - the money. her milking him non stop - why not throw that fact in her face?!? she is disgusting - heck that whole family is, cause the sister knows who her mother is, yet she guilts her brother into coming back, when she knows how he gets treated. & after the big blowup i hope Uea will break things off with that family, but i don't think he will, cause they his family & this an Asian BL after all - so no matter what they do or how they treat u they ur family till death do u part like the freakin mafia... ugh

Well, I have very mixed feelings towards this drama.

Head over Heals is very interesting story-wise. I very much liked the deep cultural representation it brought, from Shamanism, to folklore, to history. It made me want to conduct research on spirits, ghosts, and the grim reaper (one of the topics I am most fascinated by). The cast is very charming, and characters like Do Ryeong, or as he is known: The “Flower Master,” very witty yet kind-hearted, and a nice callback on the cultural aspect of how men can be shamans. On that line of argumentation, I kind of liked Bongsu a little bit more than Gyeon U because he had more of a character in general. His story sparked my curiosity, and I am so into joyful tragic characters and backstories as a whole. He is also a child; it made me feel very protective of him, knowing that he was a victim of war and all he wanted was to be loved. Nonetheless, he acted like a child who was holding and playing with dangerous tools (aka the arrow scene), PERFECT depiction of what he was doing before his death. I am sure it is not a big deal that some of us would like him more, as Seong A is made to be since she likes Gyeon U more, and that's what both the main lead and the spirit really care about. On another note, I did not know how to feel about Yeom Hwa. She is definitely an anti-hero and a grey character, a bit more lenient towards the villain archetype. She lost her baby, and the realization she could not protect them even in death is very upsetting. Yet, it definitely is not an excuse to torment Gyeon U, as he was a child himself at some point, and she did not have any empathy for the kid who died in the first few episodes in an accident; like, she moved on very quickly. General Dong Cheon is also very captivating, a mother at heart and a very wise one too. Her death was certainly emotional. Still, I just could not comprehend how Yeom Hwa was blaming the entity in a way. I mean, she cast the spell, was about to summon the grim reaper as a murderer, forcing both Bongsu and Gyeon U to be on the other side, and was protected by her mom as she died for her. Not to forget she was the one who was blinded enough to make Bongsu possess Gyeon U through casting spells, manipulation, and causing harm.I felt bad for Ji Ho in a funny and not-so funny way. His tragedy comes from being left out; nobody thanked him for all of the stuff he did. He had to confess to his friend in front of her very obvious non-lover (which was kind of weird), then was rejected by her, was kicked by Bongsu on few occasions, was dumb enough to also indirectly cause the death of the General by giving the obvious non-villain the ring, etc. He is a great person and he remained kind, although I wish he could have protected, or at least stood up for, Seong A when she was a push-over.Other than that, I really could not understand characters like Hye Ri and her motivations, and whatever they did in episode 11 could not make me stomach her. I loved the representations of the Suicide Spirit and wondered why the grim reaper wouldn't be by his side, side by side. However, the grim reaper only appears when there is certain death, plus the ghost spirit already looks like the grim reaper in a way.Seong A is also kind of a push-over. I like her and dislike her at the same time, since I couldn't see much character development or motivation. I would like to say more about her, but that's what I am mad about: I don't really have much to say about the FL in the same fashion that I do about the supporting cast.Story-wise, I like the idea of the drama. Still, it felt like... too much? I have finished it in 2 days, yet I felt like it was a week already. Too many events happened, and the second half already felt like Season 2. A lot of questions were left unanswered and things were kind of unresolved (Hye Ri's motivations for causing the arson, how does Seong A feel now about being a shaman, how does Gyeon U feel about shamans now? their parents, how did he carry their misfortune tbg...). It felt kind of too packed and didn't make a lot of sense. Too many plots too. I just wished they could have stuck to one theme or made a Season 2.The acting was very nice. I found myself tearing up every now and then and cried too, which I was not expecting (General's sacrfice, the punishment of the baby in the coffin because of their mom...) I just wish I could have paid more attention to the OST to be honest. One other thing, I am beginning to dislkie the trop of "They protected me so I must protect them back and go over the same pain they have gone through to sympathise and feel bad for them), it is a little bit unrelatble and repetitive, you don't have to suffer or go through the same things they have gone through to feel their pain and to have a redemption arc or to love them more.

i feel like King keeps brining up the issue…

i feel like King keeps brining up the issue of his mother wanting arrange a meeting with a woman, cause he wants to force Uea into admitting, that they r more then "bed friends", that Uea feels something more for him, as hinting that he wants more, that he can commit, that he can stop being a player r all falling of deaf ears. so this is his way of making Uea admit he wants more too. ***********************************************************************************************************************************& when Uea was finally looking forward too & wanted to vacation together with King, his mother put an end to Uea reaching out to King & not just being a passive participant. ***********************************************************************************the mains have great chemistry in bed, but their communication skills r lacking. & i get now Uea is back to his old aloof self cause he tried & got shot down. but if he doesn't want to rely on anyone, cause he feels no one is trust worthy, he needs to learn how to stand-up for himself & avoid perverts - he as no problem standing up to King, but not when it comes to guys that can really be dangerous...

i really want to see some type of progress…

i really want to see some type of progress between Uea & King - emotionally, but more then that i want to see one whole ep where King doesn't needlessly apologize!! he goes around saying 'sorry' when he has done nothing wrong, so even if he f*cks up, it aint something big & after all the apologizing i kinda don't feel like Uea deserves it. he should be the one apologizing & trying to get over himself. he aint gods gift to King or mankind. with all the baggage he is carting around, he should be grateful he found someone as kind & considerate as King & if this wasn't enough to make King a hell of a catch, he has turned into Uea's personal body guard & nanny all rolled into one. ************************************************************************************cause of King Uea goes around like a headless moron; getting blind drunk chatting up a stranger from another country, acting coy not putting Krit in his place. he just turns mute around other guys, but finds his tongue around King, then he is cutting him with his words & for some whacked reason King, finds that charming, like WTF. ***************************************************side note: i should like Jade & Gun but have to say they kinda annoying, luckily there a ton more annoying side character's then them - but still they all kinda pointless & i rather see more of the mains.. but that's cause i need to see them growing as a couple - wishful thinking when Uea is involved i know. but one can hope.

Playing your hand — memory loss, manipulation, and dangerous smiles

Episode 2 really feels like a game of strategy — playing your hand at exactly the right moment. Our ML falls straight into a deadly trap and loses his memory, landing him firmly in the FL’s hands. She clearly knows more about him than she lets on, but instead of turning him in, she rescues him and quietly installs him as a stable boy. Bold choice.Meanwhile, the FL’s sisters continue plotting like it’s their full-time job — honestly, her siblings are lethal and no one feels safe around them. Just when you think that’s enough scheming, the potential suitors enter the picture, and their plotting is almost as bad as the sisters’. Everyone here has an agenda. This episode makes one thing very clear: showing weakness in this world is dangerous, and it could easily be your downfall. Tension stays high, alliances feel fragile, and I’m very curious to see who plays their cards right next.🔍 Current Theory:I think the ML has genuinely lost his memory, but his cleverness and instincts are still very much intact. Even without his past, he knows how to survive, read people, and adapt — which makes him even more dangerous.

Intrigue from the get-go (and yes… Neo’s face)

Episode 1 had me hooked straight away — intrigue from the get-go. And let’s be real, Neo never lets us down with the visuals. That face alone already has my attention. The FL and ML haven’t really met yet, but even that brief look between them felt deliberate. Both are surrounded by people plotting against them, and neither of them is naive. They’re smart, cunning, and clearly very analytical in how they move. The FL is aiming for the head of the clan while her sisters play sweetness and light in front of their grandmother — all while being openly devious and deadly behind the scenes. Meanwhile, the ML is climbing the official ranks and upsetting some very important people along the way. There’s clearly more than meets the eye with him. Strong first episode, sharp set-up, and I’m very ready for what comes next.

ep 4 already & i just can't seem to…

ep 4 already & i just can't seem to warm up to Uea, yeah i feel sorry for the sh*t he has been through, but he is such a passive victim, it's kinda doing my head in. of course King had to come to his rescue in the parking lot - yet, why does it always feel like he is the one doing King a favor, when they r together?!? ***************************************************************************then his B-day, so what if his sister called? the one things that is good about siblings, is the ability to be candid with them about family secrets. ok - not saying he should confide in her about almost getting assaulted by their step-father (even though like i already mentioned, pedo's don't just target one child. when there r two under the same roof) but about their mother, tell his sister 'i love u but i can't be under the same roof as her.." that's one thing a brother can & should be able to tell his sister. & the sister having been a 1st had witness, would/should understand why her brother would want to spend his birthday anywhere but under the same roof as the woman that abused him verbally & physically, throughout his childhood. *************************also he is an adult & even now hasn't found his voice?!? so his mother didn't believe him - fine but why put himself in the same situation & when that pedo tried to touch him - why stay quite?!? flip the table, make a mess, make a hue and cry - anything but just run out & crying - what that help? at least if it burst at the moment, it would force them to realize that he is either telling the truth or not want to contact him, so everything could be hushed up. so no i aint feeling sad for Uea he has shown no growth. even when he is with King he always acts like he is doing him a favor & even in bed it's like King is there to service him. also that end - where he is chatting up a foreigner, while getting blind drunk - like r u kidding me?? he on a downward spiral? he wants to get assaulted??? King has turned into his nanny - **************************************************************************from the start i like King, yeah he is flirty, but he isn't a player from what i have seen & he has had a crush on Uea from the start (which i genuinely don't get) & by this stage i really don't get why King wont move on cause he deserves better. watching cater to Uea is tiring me out. will say this again he deserves better! but know he will never move on cause that's how this is written -

Uea had one heck of a childhood not enough…

Uea had one heck of a childhood not enough a homophobic, abusive c*nt of a mother, he also had a pedo for a stepfather?!? like WTF, can only guess how bad that all went. but what worries me is that when we talking pedos their targets have little to nothing to do about gender, they wanna destroy innocence, the fact it's a boy or a girl doesn't really matter, more important if the target is easy & introverted. & Uea got a younger sister - so this fact becomes really terrifying when u think about it & that witch of a mother doesn't seem to care for anything but money. ********************************************************************but i didn't get why King had to apologize for triggering Uea, he didn't know & i am 99% sure he has kissed him on the nape of the neck multiple times, but cause this time it wasn't at the heat of sex Uea got triggered?? & King needed to apologize like he did something wrong - really??? ******************************************************************************************************also Uea was asking for that sh*t at the end - yeah i am victim blaming - sorry but u need to be a genius to "get" that taking ur bleedin time in a deserted parking lot after hrs is DANGEROUS?!??? even if Uea hadn't been attacked that same day, something that would stick with u & make u weary especially in the place it happened, what there no rapist? robbed? in Thailand?? & after all he has lived throw he should know better. as a women i know this - what as a victim he doesn't??? plz

Why Liu Yu protect her tyrant master??!

this is the most dumb character i've ever saw in drama 😂, why Liu Yu stopped King Chimei to kill her crazy master??! tf they can easily defeat him there since he is underestimated Feng lai. All of those tragedy could've been easily avoided.
