An exhausting watch

They say that opposites attract - but this is not the case here. First, there's no mutual attraction - and we're on ep. 3 already. Second, main characters are not "opposites" of each other: Qui is an obnoxious growler while Duang is a delusional child; both are immature and annoying. Making both main characters unlikeable is just one of several signs of how bad the writing is - and the performances are only making it worse. Watching ep. 1 I thought that out of the whole cast at least TeeTee was trying - doing his best with his good looks and charm; now watching his exploits is simply tiring. The rest of the cast (Por included) is merely present on the screen - even calling it "performances" goes too far (and calling it "acting" would be offensive to actual actors). I'm pesimistic about the rest of the show.

Slow start but well written plot. It is not…

Slow start but well written plot. It is not a romantic rom com but a serious drama and not a typical sugar coated plot.

A very good and thrilling episode! First of…

A very good and thrilling episode! First of all I want to say that I feel very bad for all the workers, especially Mi Sook. But then I also feel that deciding to take her own life was pretty irresponsible of her considering she has a daughter to take care of and provide for. And then asking Geum Bo to take care of Bom feels too much even though I understand how desperate the mother must have been. It was really nice seeing more emotional scenes today, especially with Geum Bo. Hoping that Geum Bo won't give up and keep fighting for justice, especially now that she found the ledger! I'm tbh a bit worried about what President Shin will do now, he seems very suspicious. Looking forward to episode 10 as the preview looked very intense. And finally the secrets are revealed and it actually got far less screentime and drama than I expected, which honestly was a pretty nice surprise. Also I am very desperate for romance now, can Albert and Geum Bo please go on another date plzzzz 🙏

Fallout and flipped objective

Kim Mi Suk was left to bear the brunt of the blame for bank fund collapse. She represented all the everyday workers that suffered because of the greed and corruption of those in charge of the nation’s money. Ms Hong got to see directly the fallout from her report preventing them assistance. She stopped their slush fund from growing but she now sees why Yehppie was pissed off at her. Circumstances change and she’s staying at work. It was satisfying to watch her take down that mid-management jerk while appalling he is going to be the new face of the bank’s progress. She finally gets her hands on the ledger only to find they won’t do anything about it because of the country’s financial turmoil. Her ex has his choice of investing partner taking over the bank’s debt, but it is still unclear what side of the legal line he is on with these choices. Mi Suk knew Ms Hong from her accounting days and her ex tried to mitigate her circumstances by only having her fired. Little by little we are getting her backstory. Queen B recieved a surprising opportunity from Ms Hong. Will they now become partners in crime? Interesting twists and turns this episode. The players are lining up for the big showdown.

At a loss for words.

I am at a loss for words to describe how good this episode and episode 24 are. Powerful emotional roller coaster in the best way. The writing and acting is so real.

Five Stars

I wonder: is that chair in the interrogation room real? It's absolutely horrifying! I'm having such a hard time bearing it. Otherwise, the series is interesting, though, a little too dark for me. I must admit I'm watching it for Luo Yunxi, wanting to see him perform a different role from the previous ones. I'd say he does a decent job.

Just a plot filler

Despite the promise of it being about the Asian Financisl Crisis of 1997 , you really have to turn your brain off to enjoy this drama. And here's a fine example mid ep 7: 39 mins. In typical SK form, child of a single mother is bullied, by kindergartners..."you must have no mother hahahahahahaha". And the issue is resolved by making it appear as if she's super rich. Way to reinforce patriatchal systems (no parents=bad) and class systems (poor=bad, rich=good)...with no actual character growth or develooment. Just a plot filler.

Good overall storyline, feel bit too fast

I love the mix between both of their lives and the dynamic between the. does feel like Win got used to her pretty quick like I'm missing an ep in the middle or something.I like their dynamic tho.very good editing and sfx. it really brings this comedy series to life.

Good episode but...

So I completed 31 episodes and I was 30 minutes into episode 32 and I just couldn't anymore. I loved this series so much. I lost sleep last night because I just kept binging it --- I suffered the consequences all day, but it was worth it. Unfortunately, the dread started setting in around episode 30. I felt like they were just going to turn stupid and ruin everything. I decided that I'd rather love what I'd watched instead of forcing myself to continue watching and lose interest. Those three demons... Ugh.So I decided to leave it there. I did google whether Unclouded Soul had a happy ending after my decision and apparently I dodged a bullet. It's a shame. I loved this so much but I just couldn't continue. Everyone --- I'm looking at you Demon Slayer and Fake-Immortal!!!! - started being stupid. So so so so so so so so AHHHHHHHHHH I'm so mad.(They weren't that stupid, I just felt like they should have done things differently... WAY different.)

A very varied and good episode!

I really enjoyed the variation of content in this episode - a mix of romance, sadness, work and legal disputes. It was sad that the husband got imprisoned and I honestly didn't really like how harsh Yoon Seuk Hoon was even though I understand that it was his job. After getting to know more about them, I'm really rooting for Lee Jin Woo and Heo Min Jeong! And as Jin Woo said to her she was really cool when dealing with her ex-husband and ex-mother-in-law. The trailer for episode eight was so dramatic though, really excited but a bit scared at the same time lol! Also please can the romance between Yoon Seuk Hoon and Kang Hyo Min start soon, I'm getting a bit desperate lol. I feel like they are very ready now. Also Hyo Min having the conversation in Seuk Hoon's office was so cute! And I'm happy that he finally can move on from his ex.

Fight scene

We're seeing more of that lil lumping immortal!!! I'm not exactly convinced by the acting, buuuuut I like that a villain is looking like a child? That's something different to me.The fighting scene was so silly for no reason too.I hate that Erem also has no voice anymore, not even can scream or make noise... It's frustrating. For her, obviously too. ;-;Yep, Gayeong, fear really do be scary :,)
