Higashino Keigo Mysteries Episode 7

i really enjoyed these last three episodes. i cared a lot for the newly+weds & i was entertained by the zany charades players. this episode offered a constant stream of new factors to look at which kept me engaged. the prior two episodes had features about them unlike a mystery that i got into but this one was proper fully mystery genre start to finish 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i binged through this show because a member of kis-my-ft2 was in it & i was really bored at the start. I’ve realized mystery anthologies are just not my thing really. i feel more detached from the characgters & playing detective isn’t really how i enjoy watching things like i always feel on edge to pay attention artificially 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ but i liekd this episode. it hooked me on it made me think this thwen that & here there then over here. it also doesn’t hammer the point down onto you. a lot of the earlier episodes had no tact whatsoever like the older husbanmd recognizing that this could be the couple that lost a daughter from carbon+monoxide almost two years ago HOW WOULD YOU REMEMBER THAT & KNOW IT’s GTHEM SPECIFICALLY ?FROM THE VAGUE TWO INTERACTIONS Y’ALL HAD ?the way that wife insessently rejected kansai in such an—over the top—way it gets out of the realm of empathy & breaks all emersion. this episode shows us something & let’s it speak it doesn’t read us the wikipedia synopsis & i do like that 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ i also lkike how much of this episode was presently happening. it feels cooler to be in real+time that allocating twelve minutes to a flash+back explanation 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ so i was watching this for senga kento hehenhrefkngvnjefnjef he looked just like a little puppy this episode so cute ko,fkmgmrsfmjfe even when he was brooding in bushes !he did a great job for his first acting role i believe. i think that’s asll i have to say it’sa gotten a lot more easier to sit through.

WOAH. HOLD ON.I actually really loved this episode. The drama had started to kinda bore me, like the same plot as with any youth drama. But today's episode. Damn.I loved their reunion scene so much; I like their chemistry as adults WAYYY better.I also wasn't digging his new hair at the beginning, but now I'm kinda like it.

This was an amazing transition into the adult years. Now we are ready for the next stage. I only hope we see more of Lin Zeqiu and hopefully in his romance arc.

Zhang family framed Marshall Li and house arrest. This episode also should be called confrontation cuz there are two confrontation between Qingyi and Boze who became salty soul after betrayal from Qingyu . The highlight of the episode should be LRZ house arrest to his farewell , as he went the same fate as Murong Feng but in somehow heroic way. I love Qingyi and Su Su interaction where they are in salty state but deeply care for each other and Le'an . Total tear jerker episode.😭😭

"You Can Hold Me For A Lifetime" Ma'am PLEASE😭✨ A proper goodbye atleast before another heartbreak, a very bad one🥲. This couple is very tame just like most husband-wife dramas in general, but you can FEEL the love and yearning in both ZWY and WCR eyes, the way they look at eachother is literally melting my heart🥺✨ the way they rely and trust one another would rub more salts to the wound if she founds out the truths later on ; ;

Yu Tu was sort of sleep-walking through much of this to this point, clearly lost in his thoughts about whatever is going wrong in his career. Even seems depressed and vulnerable about it - which comes to a head at the little 'reunion' dinner where he gets ridiculed about it. But after his magical rescue from that situation by Jingling's clever wine trick she not only saves him from that awkward situation, but also just lights up his admiration for her. She's so sensitive and responsive to his emotional state that he clearly starts falling hard for her. I mean, yes, he's a math/science/tech/gaming genius (oh, and basketball stud, apparently) ... but she's clearly the master of people skills between the two of them and her game is in high form as she draws him into her web.

Finally, after all the schemes and untraceable travels of information, we are back on track with a very exciting episode! — They kissed! 🥰 We got combat scenes! 🤩 And a plot twist about Prince Ding! 😯Also, I tried to listen carefully to how Prince Ding's voice sounds, and I have a hunch he might be the one who gave those drugs to Munuha, that foreign prince, or whoever he was. So, could he also be the one Qingshi answers to? 🤔And despite Prince Xie being a creep who stalks the Crown Princess, I am proud of him for being the way he is and just not listening to any of the bs Qingshi tried to feed him. 👏

The chemistry between Dilraba and Yang Yang is immediately do cute. Their back and forth quickly hinges off their each having certain strengths - his being intellectual and her's being socio-emotional. There is an undercurrent of tension running though, with Yu Tu clearly at some sort of career crossroads that is bothering him.

Waiting for Xiao Fan to grow his wings is like watching the second hand on a clock.Everyone around him seems to be changing—even his pathetic brother is finally showing signs of growth—yet Xiao Fan remains frustratingly passive, still allowing everyone around him to walk all over him. Ten episodes in, I keep asking myself: Will the change finally come, or are we going to fall off a cliff with only two episodes left?His character development has been painfully slow. Xiao Fan is almost like a sponge, absorbing lessons from everyone around him, but rarely acting on them himself. And this is where my struggle with the series lies.Watching Xiao Fan is beginning to feel like watching The Truman Show. He moves through his life almost oblivious to the world around him, unaware that the people closest to him are manipulating him, using him, and taking advantage of his innocence. Then, slowly, the walls begin to crack. The life he thought was real starts revealing itself as nothing more than a carefully constructed shell.And I ache for Xiao Fan to finally break out.I want to see him grow those wings, break the bondage Bei Lu Qin has placed on him, and finally free himself from the parasitic family that has fed off his weakness for far too long. Even Lu Qing’s former lover is taking advantage of him. It seems that everyone sees Xiao Fan as something they can use, while Xiao Fan still struggles to see his own worth.But perhaps that is ultimately what his journey is really about not simply escaping Bei Lu Qin or his family, but learning to love and value himself.With only two episodes left, I’m hoping we finally get that transformation. I want Xiao Fan to spread his wings, not because someone finally gives him permission to fly, but because he realizes that he was never meant to remain in bondage.Then again, there is another possibility.Perhaps Xiao Fan will finally fly only to discover that freedom comes with its own dangers.Let’s just hope he doesn’t become Icarus, flying too close to the sun only to come crashing back down.Two episodes left.Grow those wings, Xiao Fan. Please.

Tottori is determined to involve Japan with the last two artifacts. Here 6th master does an excellent job posing as an opium dealer and gets the price bumped up to 600k by the real opium dealer in a private seat. Both Zhang and Tottori plan to bid on last one and steal the purchased one. Officer Luo is also keeping a close eye on things. Xie looks like he passed out as first transaction completed. Tottori starts bid with 300k and thinks he has it wrapped up with his don’t outbid hydrangea placed on curtain. Zhang steps up and places a blanket bid. This pushes price to 1 million but Tottori had more personal funds than they anticipated. He rallied the Chinese by refusing to give Japan such an artifact. This had every local contributing to his account, making them match at 2.45 million. Huo bravely offers last 200k bump and shocks Tottori by giving it to Zhang for them to win. Every Chinese person in there felt pride depriving Japan of Chinese treasure. This unfortunately makes Tottori go scorched earth on any contact Huo has. He figures she will die soon without the cure and will annihilate anyone she knows that caused him to lose bid. The Americans are backing XinYue and have the required travel permit to move artifact. They successfully circumvent the Japanese outside. Inside the powers that be move slowly even when urgent. 😝 He gets his warrant after everybody is gone. Huo boldly goes to claim her cure but finds herself surrounded instead. Leader of XinYue escorts her out and his military force cannot touch her since she is an employee of XinYue. Huo might be out of luck against black plague but she finally gets to see that little man thwarted at every turn. The downside is he plans to return the favor. It was fun watching them improvise to counter Japan and merge Chinese resources. To have that yoke off for even a moment was pretty satisfying all around. The focus now shifted to first chest and both sides will give no quarter in obtaining it. Masters 2and 6 fight brilliantly when the Japanese show up. Now even chest owner claims chest for China and to keep Japan from getting it. Everybody has sustained injuries. The fight scenes nicely choreographed but glad opium seller had a gun. That made it more real than only a sword at a gunfight. Now it was a mini war of China vs Japan. Loved his comment when his servant said they should run. They should leave and don’t belong here. Beat the Japanese. 😝😁👏🏻 He tells the masters the chest is theirs and to keep it in China. Chen is finding himself face to face with a mummy and 6th master is outmanned and outgunned when episode ends. They kept this a nail biter with battle lines made even clearer between Chinese Japanese and Americans. Hoping Zhang gets resources to them soon. They hopefully anticipated how hard Japan would go for artifact. Now have to wait til tomorrow.😝

Hmm, I really hope I wouldn't have been spoiled about Shulin getting pregnant... It ruined my reaction to the news and sadly this episode as a whole. 😞But not letting that disappointment caused by novel readers linger, I am still happy with how the news of the pregnancy changed Shulin and Jinbai's relationship by the end of the episode. She finally got to dress up as a lady, and confessed her feelings to him. In return, he swore to stay by her side for the rest of his life even if she doesn't marry him. He ensured she can be her true self when they are alone and she asked him to name their baby. I love their relationship. 🥹💖Xihe warming up, smiling, touching Huayong's hands and becoming more affectionate with him was a great sight. 🥰Once again I am amazed at how everyone finds out everything so easily, and deduces the right conclusions from the most bizarre observations... Like Prince Ning and Qingshi realising Shulin must be pregnant and that they had a stand-in for the party, like it was nothing. Only because there's some description of herbs... The pregnant one could just as well be any other woman in the house, couldn't she? 🤷♀️ And this is not the first drama that does this. 🤦♀️😞Qingshi is becoming way too dangerous. She's like the ultimate plot drive in the villain department atm. But my question now is who is the person she answers to? Is that the hooded man who gave the drugs to that foreign prince to use on Xihe? I remember his voice sounded familiar, but haven't really thought of him again. 🤔

Nam Mo’s mom did a great job of PISSING ME OFF this episode. Unfairly judging Mi Ho & her family because you're upset with the choices YOU made. Mad props to Nam Mo for calling her out for it. Seeing Mrs Cha around the company more and more is annoying because you know the betrayal is incoming. yes, her & her family are being threatened so I get it, but it just sucks to see it. And the CEO's son is just pathetic and annoying kind of crazy how I respect the dad more than him.

Good, this episode add the comedy sense better than before. However, the audio quality is inconsistent; at times, the sound is extremely faint. Hmm yeah let's see for the next episode..

Overall, this first episode is good. The acting is quite solid, especially from the two leads. I understand their behavior, given the Omegaverse setting. Additionally, in some scenes where the framing is off-center, the visuals feel a bit odd—almost like CCTV footage. Or perhaps that was an intentional stylistic choice?
