READ THE NOVEL OR MANHWA INSTEAD YKK
We already know that this movie will not even follow a single thing from the novel nor the manhwa and we are right about that. This is an entirely different story than what ORV is. "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" it's already in the title a Reader's Viewpoint but then why would they changed it into a PROPHET???!And then making this a Movie instead of a Series. Orv has too many chapters, so many important parts an they will summarized it? This la is not a good recommendation. K-drama fans will probably watch this and entirely miss a good story. ORV is not just a story it's KIM DOKJA. WE THE READERS SUFFERED WITH KIM DOKJA AND THEN THIS SH1T LA WE GOT IS HERE. WE TRULY ARE KIM DOKJA'S FRAGMENTS. IYKYK

I definitely have to praise the editing and transitions, it was really great, but otherwise not much for me. I was expecting something much, much more than just this. We're not going to lie, it was interesting and there was a great plot twist, but I just didn't think it was enough for so many people to praise it. But as I say, maybe it's because it's only the first part, so we'll see what the second one is like.

This is the worst they ruined a masterpiece
I would like to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent adaptation, which, in my opinion, does not reflect the essence of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint (ORV) at all. With all due respect to the cast whom I genuinely admire my frustration lies not with their performances, but with the way the adaptation has significantly altered the source material.
ORV is a beloved masterpiece, cherished by many readers, myself included. I first encountered this novel during my first year of high school, and now, as a college student, it continues to hold a special place in my heart. To see such a treasured story transformed beyond recognition is truly disheartening.
The extensive changes made in the adaptation stray so far from the original plot and characterizations that it no longer feels like ORV in any meaningful sense. It would have been more appropriate to present this project as a separate, original story rather than labeling it an adaptation of ORV. Calling it such does a disservice to the original work and its devoted fanbase. Watching the trailer left me feeling disillusioned and upset. This adaptation lacks the heart and integrity of the novel we came to love. I sincerely hope that future productions will treat the source material with the respect and authenticity it deserves.

Useless changes that never happened in the novel./manhwa, that ruins the movie
I find it really disgusting how they changes absolutely Everything about orv in the movie, I don't know why but I find it really disgusting, Because in my opinion, the story of the original orv was already amazing. There was no need to change it. Changing small little stuff, I get it. It's understandable but changing the major arcs in the novel/ manhwa this makes it feel like you just went to chat gpt and ask it to summarize the whole entire novel/manhwa in 100 word or smth. And changing major plots like them using a sword to them using a gun, it feels like the producers didn't even read the novel. I feel like this is not a orv anymore, this is a whole different story. I don't really care about the cast that much in my opinion.Of course we as the viewers have opinions on who we would like to have in the cast , but I don't personally don't really care about it that much. And it pisses me off so bad how they butchered one of the characters. (Bihyung) there were so many ways to make it loor accurate but they fucked it up A LOT , Also, something that pisses me off is. What the fuck do you mean they made Yoo Sangah a healer and that kim dokja is a bully and that they made joo jonghyuk a side character!?!?!?!? Lets be honest the only people who are gonna watch the movie and give it a good review are people who never knew about orv(the novel/manhwa) to begin with or are blinks and want to support jisoo. Even though I don't really care about the casting that much.I feel like it all started with the casting and then they butchered everything that came right after the casting.
Anyways after my stupid tiring rant, all that I can conclude Is, don't watch the movie it's gonna be ass. But then you might be like. " But you didn't watch It.". But I read the novel and everything is completely different from whatever they're yapping about in the trailer. Like wdym they use gun????? The whole movie was just a big waste of money. And a big mistake. There was no need to even make a live action to begin with... anyways i'm really tired of typing all of this bye. Lololololol

This movie is the worst thing I've seen this year.
This movie is the worst thing I've seen this year, and it will probably stay that way until the end of the year. Some fans of the actors have been discussing very enthusiastically about the actors' looks and self-improvement in acting. I can't imagine how horrible their acting in previous movies was if they call that stiff and lifeless acting progress. This is definitely the worst movie of 2025, bad from acting, plot, visuals. I only rate 1⭐ because I can't rate 0⭐ or negative, 1⭐ is too high for this disgusting thing. Was this review helpful to you?

HEARTLESS, SOULLESS ADAPTATION!!
They should have made their own movie instead of making a loosely inspired adaptation of a popular novel that many people loved. This movie is the greatest insult for both the readers who loved the novel and the original writers who put so much effort and love into creating it. They changed the core aspects of every important characters, including the main character, and even did unimaginable gymnastics to alter the very foundations of the plot. It's such a catastrophic, abysmal disservice to the source material, and I pray to every god in this existence to strike this movie into its unrecoverable downfall. Was this review helpful to you?
This thing is just absolutely garbage
This story is clearly an inspiration and an insult to the actual Novel and Webtoon. It says that its a "live action" version of the actual orv, but it's just a "inspiration", cause the "live action" version is a version which they did what they think are right to them, just because she's a woman doesn't mean she's just a healer. Not just that, wdym that one of the MAIN character is a SIDE character? He's the main character in TWSA and should be the main character in this story too. Bihyung/Dokkaebi also looks like a ugly ass fucked up gumball filled labubu. I rather buy a labubu then buy whatever that thing is. No hate to the actors and actresses, but YJH is taller than KDJ. KDJ isn't a bully, he's the one who gets bullied, also wdym he SAVES the world? Isn't he supposed to sacrifice? I might not finish the novel or webtoon, but I know better than to make fans upset. Fuck this movie. I hope the next webtoon, novel or both adaptation you do is better than this. I hate YJH and LJH shipper just because of the cast, their family, so please, and don't just go giving 5 stars just because of the cast. A movie isn't just about its cast, but about the work that had been put in by the directors/team. But I would rate this a -1/10. This surely isn't orv but its sure something that came out of your mouth when you forgot about the plot. how did you think of him as a bully? I just found out that he(KDJ) hates TWSA, ok what... HE READ IT FOR YEARS, WDYM HE HATES IT? HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO KEPT READING IT TILL THE END. IT'S ALWAYS THERE THROUGH HIS UPS AND DOWNS I MEAN. Sorry if my grammar is bad , English is my second language or im being mean, but im just tryna be brutally honest. Everything that is written is all imo and everyone has a chance to give their own thoughts in this movie!(edit)Was this review helpful to you?
Dont watch it just read the novel or manhwa
The LA changed too many crucial points in the story to the point its just a hollow shell of the novel. Its clear that the director didnt even take a peak at the novel and just created this abomination to their own liking. The actors chosen doesnt fit well with the roles they are assigned to and the non-human characters look nothing like the description in the novel nor the art in the manhwa. The stories of each character and their roles in the story were drastically changed. Kim dokja just became a wanna be hero and a former bully with a loving family when he was the bullied one and came from an abusive household. Yoo sangah went from a skilled assassin to some healer which goes against her character story. Yoo junghyuk the mc of the story dokja read, TWSA, turned into some dumbass side character. In a nutshell, this LA is a piece of shit from the depths of hell. Scrap that. Even Satan would need bleach to cleanse his eyes of this atrocious crap. If you want to give ORV a go, read the novel. If you dont want to read the novel then read the manhwa. Its ongoing and its a great adaptation, something this LA can never be.Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely garbage
Completely misses the point of the source novel. Deliberately made changes to the storyline to remove necessary plot lines while the few that remained got bastardised,Feels like the creators took it upon themselves to make the worst live action adaptation of a novel in SK history.
Just read the novel or webtoon instead and and you'll understand how utterly disrespectful this joke of a movie is.

Trash belongs to trash can
As a fan of ORV novel I'm greatly disappointed. Absolute trash. Actors are acting like robots. The protagonists seems pathetic. Why are they fighting monsters with a pathetic stick?Story is all over the place. The bullied kid was made the bully. Action scenes were a total disaster. The vfx??? Don't wanna talk about it. This movie seem like a chinese add from early 2000s. Don't waste your time, energy n money on this shi..Was this review helpful to you?
Painfully bad
I want my money back. This was painful to watch. Non readers cant even understand it, it lacks so much context and would be confusing for ppl who havent read the novel. It sucks, thats all. Now, this movie in the perspective of a reader, also sucks. The story is all over the place, doesn't follow the original plot, cgi and cinematography is so painfully average (one might even say bad) for a movie that has a big budget. Even so, it seems like they used that budget for the actors, but was that good? No, not really. They couldnt capture the character's vibe and aura well. It was a waste of space, time, and money. Just give up already
