Yawn

Business Proposal drags on endlessly without much happening.

Could the ML and FL relationship have been any more boring? The FL actually had better chemistry with the Grandfather.

Yes, the 2ML and 2FL relationship was a bit livelier, but as others have pointed out, when they first got together, he should have walked away instead due to her level of intoxication.

RomCom? The romance was mostly tedious and the comedy was undetectable. I remain perplexed by the number of positive reviews.

Kept watching only for the second couple

This show was not bad, but not good either. I didn’t like the first couple’s plot - 2 guys had a one-night-stand, one fell in love and the other one didn’t think much of it, and the whole plot is just the one chasing the other one, while he keeps pushing him away. I have to say that I tried to watch it fully, but I ended up skipping almost all of their scenes. While on the other hand, the 2nd couple was so beautifully written - a deaf boy who’s mom hired an assistant. He started helping him watch movies (if they didn’t have subtitles), he helped him get out of the house that he hasn’t left for a long time, learned sign language for him what even his mom didn’t do - just beautiful story. The rating is 6 starts only because of the 2nd couple, if they weren’t there it would be like 4 at best. I am sad that it’s only 6 starts because the 2nd couple was genuinely heartwarming, but I have to rate the whole show

one of the best kdrama i've ever watched. the storyline was really amazing and all the actors did such a great job bringing it to life. i loved hearing the ost every episode and all the other songs were really good too. sam soon's story is really beautiful and shows a very long journey of loving yourself and not compromising your self worth for anyone even if the road to get there is difficult and imperfect. I really love this kdrama.

WHAT A WHOLESOME AND HEARTWARMING SERIE !

MY HEART, OH MY HEART

I am so inspired by the caracters, they are so so well writen, I cherish them all,

They all had a different story to tell and they were all struggling to find a dream and a purpose, following them through all of it moved me.

''Love and revolution'' for a gay couple that wants to find a ''clamp'' for their partnership and wished to be recognized.

''A chosen family '' for a child that was abondonned by two parents who ran away from the burden of parenthood to pursue their own dreams.

''Positively giving up on an ideal'' to find what matters the most.

One of the best fantasy kdramas ive seen.

Easily one of the best - ive seen a few fantasy kdramas, this ticked every checkmark and also had everything written very well. As a person who loves to overthink, its surprising how they got me surprised when i see it coming from miles away usually.
10/10 for me. Cast was perfect, enemies were clear, ending was valid (im looking at you shityphus) Im rewatching as soon as i forget some details.

Revelations: The Thin Line Between Guilt and Excuse

Revelations is a gripping Korean psychological thriller that kept me hooked with its tense atmosphere and complex characters. I appreciated how the film explores human guilt, the tendency to rationalize our actions, and the moral choices people face under pressure.

But Revelations is more than just a crime story; it is, beyond a simple film, a sharp critique of human greed.
At the center of the film is the criminal Kwon Yang-rae, who, beyond his role as an antagonist, is primarily treated as a projection for our two main characters. For the pastor, he represents a kind of “revelation” and divine calling, while for the detective, he is the source of her deep suffering and guilt. In this sense, he serves as a personification of excuse.
Meanwhile, the young A-yeong clearly represents a return to reality. Here, we are confronted with two completely different perspectives: for Seong Min-chan, the girl symbolizes his job loss and his “disobedience” to God, whereas for Lee Yeon-hui, she embodies the possibility of ending her guilt. She is the element of the film that forces each character to face the consequences of their actions.

From the very beginning, the film establishes strong symbolism: A-yeong fleeing from a threatening man represents the human tendency to constantly seek excuses. This pursuit can be read as a metaphor: youth still seems spared from guilt and greed. However, later in the film, we understand that this moral justification is inevitable.

Ultimately, the final confrontation clearly demonstrates that the need to justify our actions is not eternal. It only takes one choice to break free: the choice to face the truth. The final scene distinctly portrays two completely different personalities: one who remains in ignorance and prefers to try to escape her guilt, and the other who confronts her own “demons” and is finally freed from all culpability.
In fact, the film does not suggest that we are all doomed, but rather that we can always find a way out, as long as we accept the truth as it is.

Finally, I would like to add that I do not believe Revelations critiques faith or an “obsession” with God. I genuinely think it should be seen differently: here, faith highlights our human need to avoid facing our guilt. Religion is just one of many excuses used to show how much we seek to justify our actions in order to absolve ourselves of responsibility.

Thank you for reading :)

Sweet, swoony, and occasionally infuriating

What I loved

THE IN-GAME VISUALS
One of the most creative aspects of this drama is how it handles gaming scenes. It visualizes the characters inside the game world. Seeing Liang Chen all ready for battle while being absolutely clumsy is comedy gold. These scenes make the gaming aspect feel dynamic and fun.

LU JING AS A MALE LEAD
Honestly? Lu Jing carries this drama. He’s smart, talented, emotionally mature, and refreshingly proactive. He’s not intimidated by Liang Chen’s fame or threatened by Jia Yun. Watching him pursue her with quiet confidence was deeply satisfying.

LIANG CHEN’S SPINE
Liang Chen is no doormat. Her rivalry with Meng Lan Zhi gives us some of the best moments in the drama.

THE CHEMISTRY
The chemistry between the leads feels natural and intoxicating.

SUPPORTIVE FRIENDSHIPS
The reconciliation between Liang Chen and Ma Shan Shan is genuinely touching. Watching them heal from their past and support each other’s dreams again adds emotional weight and warmth to the story.

The negatives

TOO MANY COINCIDENCES
Fate is working way too hard here. The sheer number of times the leads are in the same building, flight, or café without seeing each other becomes ridiculous. At some point, it stops being cute and just feels like a forced tactic.

DING JIA YUN’S DESPERATION
Jia Yun is… exhausting. His inability to accept Liang Chen’s clear lack of romantic interest, combined with his interference makes him more irritating than sympathetic.

SUN BIN YU’S LOUD ENERGY
Sun Bin Yu (Taro) is meant to be comic relief, but he’s often too much. His early persistence with Ma Shan Shan crosses into uncomfortable territory, and while his role eventually becomes sweet, the journey there is rough.

ILLOGICAL PLOT MOMENT
Writing a neat, legible love note during intense airplane turbulence? I’m sorry, but no. That was just stupid.

INCONSISTENT GAMING LOGIC
While the in-game visuals are great for the main couple, the drama oddly skips them for side characters like Ma Shan Shan and Sun Bin Yu. It feels like a missed opportunity to fully commit to one of the show’s most unique features.

All good in this drama

I like the idea of pursuing love. With the mature lead, so I don't mind with slowburn love. I found myself giggling, smiling most all the time. Do watch this drama, if you need happy vibes romantic drama.

Well, the novel author always succeed to brings her the novel to screen without major changing and thats what I also like. Proof the the novel already good. The novel also worth to read, while waiting the next episode's coming.

A funny thing about this drama is that when I first saw the ending credits, I immediately recognized the song played because I put this on my spotify list months maybe even a year ago. That says alot about the music, doesn't it?

In the beginning I wasn't sure whether I would like it. The trailer was promising, but the first few minutes somewhat put me off. I didn't like the FL's story character's hairstyle and costume and the acting of both ML and FL was missing something as well. But I stuck with the story in hopes it would get better. And it did.

As you get to know the characters more, you actually start to care for them and get invested in their stories. The acting became more enjoyable as well. I started to like a lot of the side characters! I liked the servants of both leads, I liked the secondary couple with the first sister and their weird overly melodramatic scenes, I was quite impressed with the FL's mother and her strong and leading stance (such a beauty, btw!) and had fun with the ML's parents. The ML's perfomance started weak but got better quickly. Though, sometimes I had wished for a more matured behaviour than giving me the silly boy attitude that definitely doesn't belong to the son of a city ruler. The FL's acting was constantly good, convincing and never let down.

The story of the annoying SML started off well but pissed me off during the further story because he shifted sides so often and could never let go.

I think the most interesting development had the second sister. Starting off as the good doting second sister turning into a cunning, jealous and hateful villain. The unfolding of her character throughout the story, the step by step changes were one of the highlights of the drama. Now, you could say the cause for that was the change in the FL's (third sister, btw) attitude when she entered her own character's body. But in my humble opinion the second sister had always been like that and only appeared to be the good samaritan because the original third sister was bad mannered and disliked by everyone.

The humor was great, subtle, never exaggerated and always well placed. I enjoyed the constant murder attempts and the FL's script changes to escape those. I was also very pleased that, even though you knew, that the light and funny and fluffy atmosphere would turn into conflict and sorrow at some point, it was never devastating and resolved quite fast.
I was actually very satisfied with one moment when the heroic FL decided to put an end to the act to save her man (and I'm not talking about the finale of the drama but a turning point way earlier). That part was very well written and very well acted by both sides.

Overall a decent watch, enjoyable and entertaining with a good main and supporting cast. The plot was well done, logical, and had a well balanced suspense arc. And the side treat with the city being ruled by woman? How fun was that.

Absolutely rubbish

This drama sux so much. I rarely drop dramas especially one with Luo Yunxi but even he couldn't save this garbage. The female lead is grating, people keep saying things in the dialogue about her age and it's clear they cast an actress who's much older than the character. I don't mind older characters but fix the script, it sounds stupid. Her boss keeps talking about how the FL is so young and idealistic (even refers to her as "This little girl") and the boss is CLEARLY younger than the FL. The acting is cringe. The chemistry between the leads is completely non existent. The FL is not likeable at all and flip flops between acting like a door mat and trying to order people around who have no reason to obey her.
The office drama feels like it's written by a teenager who can't imagine a real workplace but understands school bullying, with their grand plan to get rid of the FL basically being "be really mean and cliquey to her until she leaves". It's embarrassing watching a 40 year old lady staring sadly at her lunch alone while wishing people liked her when she doesn't ever try to talk to any of them or make friends.
Also the fake research plot makes no sense, they didn't even bother trying to come up with a convincing way they did it, they just lied about the numbers.
It's all just awful and it's weird that this drama got made.

A Hauntingly Beautiful Story of Love and Sacrifice

This drama examines what it is to be human and the inner workings of emotions and existence. It is ethereal, with foreboding and tense tones that beautifully capture love, the aching need for companionship, and self-sacrifice. It is well-executed and the cast performance matches its caliber. I recommend this to all Guo Jingming fans and to anyone wanting to watch something short and with feeling.

Political Intrigue and Romance—Perfectly Executed

This is one of my favorite watches. It balances political intrigue and conspiracies, revenge, fantasy, romance, and transmigration. The narrative is succinct and well-paced, engaging and poetic. The drama is executed well, the wardrobe and settings or props are beautiful. I don't have anything negative to say about this drama. I enjoyed every minute this was on-screen.

on themes of loyalty, growth, and adapting to new environments

General’s Lady is a charming historical C-drama full of warmth, humor, and gentle romance. It tells the story of a clever noblewoman and a stoic general whose love grows through trust and understanding. The leads share great chemistry, and the visuals — from costumes to scenery — are stunning. It balances emotion and lighthearted moments beautifully, making it a cozy, satisfying watch for fans of loyal, respectful love stories with strong characters, heartfelt growth, and enduring devotion.
