I can't get over this couple..I have this drama multiple times

*Flight to You* is a beautiful, heartwarming drama that perfectly balances romance, personal growth, and emotional storytelling. From the very first episode, it pulls you into the lives of its characters and keeps you invested in their journeys. The drama isn't just about love—it also highlights ambition, resilience, friendship, and the challenges of chasing one's dreams, making it a meaningful and inspiring watch.

One of the biggest strengths of the series is the incredible chemistry between the lead couple. Their relationship develops naturally, allowing viewers to experience every heartfelt moment, from playful interactions to emotional confessions. Their chemistry feels genuine and effortless, making it easy to root for them throughout the story. The emotional connection they share adds depth to the romance and makes every scene together memorable.

The performances are equally impressive, with the cast bringing warmth and authenticity to their roles. The lead actors deliver emotional scenes with sincerity, while the supporting characters contribute their own unique charm and help create a well-rounded story. The workplace setting is refreshing and provides an interesting backdrop that sets this drama apart from typical romantic series.

Visually, *Flight to You* is stunning, featuring beautiful cinematography and a soothing soundtrack that enhances the emotional impact of key moments. The pacing is steady, allowing the characters to grow individually and together without feeling rushed.

What makes this drama truly special is its ability to make viewers laugh, smile, and even tear up while delivering valuable messages about perseverance, trust, and believing in yourself. Every episode leaves you wanting more, thanks to its engaging plot and lovable characters.

Overall, *Flight to You* is a feel-good drama with heartfelt romance, excellent character development, and unforgettable chemistry between the leads. If you're looking for a comforting, emotional, and uplifting series, this drama is definitely worth watching.

Lost Potential

I waited every week for this show with great anticipation. Then came the finale. What even was that?!? The twist about the dad made complete sense but the way he did a complete 180 so quickly made absolutely NO sense. It was at this moment that I KNEW the rest of the plot was going to seem rushed. Unfortunatelu, I was wrong because nothing was rushed, because nothing was wrapped up. None of the major plot points were completed and honestly I feel no type of satisfaction from the finale at all. I actually thought I accidentally skipped back to a previous episode they way the scene changed up and then the episode just ended. It didn’t even leave me anticipating a second season if I’m being honest, which is hard to do because I pretty much want a second season of every BL I ever watch. Maybe my opinion will change later after I’ve had more time to digest it all but the more I continue to write now, the more disappointed I become.

A good time waster. Worth the watch.

But it’s super weird, and the whole time you’ll be watching it the thought will keep creeping in about how weird it really is, but also how easy it is to just go with it. The weirdest part to me though for some reason is that you don’t get to see the MLs kiss one other at the end in their actual bodies, after swapping back. The kisses throughout are pretty good actually, but like you only ever see them intimate while in the other’s body, and technically kissing their own face. Again, it’s just weird.

Unique and beautiful drama with some plot holes

Overall Feeling: First of all, I loved this drama. It was more like an experience than a viewing. The acting was so convincing and the character development of the 2 main leads was so unique compared to most C-Dramas. After a while, typical character archetypes in C-Dramas can become a bit tiring but this was the first one for a while that gave me something a little deeper, and it felt so refreshing. A lot of people have called it slow but I really disagree. For me, a slow drama tends to be one that doesn't really have enough legitimate plot to fill all the episodes, so they pad everything out with side character filler, meaning the plot doesn't move forward. TFJ wasn't like that. I think what people consider to be slow is actually just the writers taking time to follow emotional development, not just plot. So if you prefer shows that are very event driven you might be put off by the deep, character focused scenes. But for me I love seeing characters have time to feel, so I was gripped pretty much every episode, which is rare for me because there is usually a point when I start to hit the skip button in your average 40 episode drama.

Romance: This is one of the most beautiful and tragic love stories I've seen for a while BUT if you like your typical steamy/touch her and you die/save the damsel in distress type romance dramas then this is not that. This is the relationship between 2 deeply broken people who are learning to find safety in one another. They don't go overboard with the passion but it felt much more realistic than many. Would I have enjoyed a bit more romance towards the end? Yes. Was I still satisfied with how realistically their love developed? Also yes.

Plot Holes: So I don't know exactly what was going on with some of the episodes. Around halfway through it felt like they shot too much footage and had to be very harsh with the cuts. Especially with the supporting story lines, they felt cut short or forgotten at times. This gave more focus to the leads' story development but lost some of the details from the overall story. Main example that everyone has mentioned is the disappearing princess. Knowing that there are often controversies during shoots in China (often leading to shows getting cut-short or actors being replaced or killed off) I wonder if something happened because the actress gets stabbed and is literally GONE for the rest of the show. Would love to know if there is a reason behind these holes beyond running out of time with the 40 episode max rule? This also meant that some of the side characters that I was generally interested in got sudden and unsatisfying endings. I don't say this often, because 40 episodes is usually too many for most writers, but I think this one could have added 2 more just to wrap everyone's stories up nicely.

Concept Underutilized

If you're thinking of watching this series because it's called 'Vampire Detective' and you think the main character is a vampire you're going to be disappointed.

The detective is fine. The crime puzzles ok and the acting holds up. The problem is the scriptwriter doesn't understand the concept of a vampire and why it's interesting. Different stories have different kinds of vampires, but the key is combining a superhuman with a predatory need for human blood that can't suffer sunlight. Super strength vs super lethal weakness. Think Superman and his kryptonite.

This script has none of that. The vampire element could have been dropped completely because it doesn't add anything of interest.

It's tough working as a police detective and not going about by day. I've read a few series in which the main character, a vampire, works as private investigator with normal sidekicks.

One good series by P. N. Elrod is called the Vampire Files set in the 1930's in Chicago. The first book Bloodlist is a mystery. A man wakes up at night on Lake Michigan shoreline with amnesia. He soon realizes two things. He was murdered, and he's now a vampire and he goes about solving his own murder. The vampire in this story has all the powers of the original Dracula of Bram Stoker's character. Neat twist is that the mobster who killed him becomes a close colleague and friend.

Another interesting character that could have been a template for this series' vampire is a book series called Vampire for Hire by J. R. Rain which has a vampire that can go out in the sun with protection and solve cases. The main character accidentally survives an attack by a vampire and slowly becomes one. Her becoming a cold undead vampire causes her husband to divorce her. Complications are that she has two kids to raise.

Another vampire 'detective' book series is by Fred Saberhagen (Saberhagen is better known for his SF Berserker series - stories about sentient machines roving the galaxy killing all biological life - he invented the original concept) in which his main character is the original Dracula who it turns out is not so evil after all. In the first book Dracula in modern times sets the record straight regarding Bram Stoker gross misrepresentation of what happened back then. In this series Dracula has many identities down through the centuries including Sherlock Holmes.

A series called Vampire Detective has immense potential and this one wasted it all.

.....

I just finished watching this and honestly it's not really for me. Even though the story shows realistic relationship struggles, I believe that couples should trust one another and be open minded + sensitive about their partner's feelings and decisions.

I was expecting Mizuki to have at least some character development, but I didn't see any even until the last episode. Mizuki stays controlling, possessive and emotionally distant for most of the story and I was hoping that he would atleast become more expressive or considerate toward Yoh's feelings and stop thinking only about himself. There were so many moments where Yoh was left confused about what Mizuki truly wanted or felt and I wished Mizuki would communicate those feelings more clearly instead of expecting Yoh to always understand him.

As for Yoh I was also expecting that atleast one day he would stand up for himself and stop letting Mizuki treat him that way. Though there are times when he was honest about his feelings, but it was only whenever he was drunk. I really wanted to see him become confident and express himself more even when he's sober instead of constantly holding back what he truly felt and what he's experiencing. Well I also can't completely blame him because he was bullied in the past which probably affected his self esteem and the way he sees himself. And on top of that he's been living with someone that's emotionally distant and hard to read which also probably affected him more.

Overall in my opinion, this BL wasn't my type of story. I personally prefer stories where the characters learn to understand each other better and grow together by the end. Though there are scenes and moments that were okay for me (like when Mizuki is taking care of Yoh and stuff.) I understand that the story wanted to show a realistic and complicated relationship but I just can't help but feel frustrated rather than attached to the couple 🥲. Love is easier to understand when both people openly show and communicate their feelings. Even though we can say that both parties loved one another, the lack of communication, possessiveness and the toxicity (etc) between them made it really hard to fully support their relationship. It just wasn't the kind of relationship dynamic that I personally enjoy watching but I can appreciate what the story was trying to portray and also understand other people's opinions about this.

The best K-BL I ever watched, the perfect mix of crime thriller and BL story.

There many crime thriller BLs I've watched so far either it is Thai or any other but somewhere this bls can't provide the equal importance to the crime story and the story between the two ML . Either they become too invested in romanticising the BL story and totally ignore the crime story or vise versa. But not in this series I get too involved while they investigate the cases as a crime thriller genre lover and excited when the MLs interact with each other. Also the tension between them is top notch and I just watched the ep 4 (the NC scene) it was too fine, I got butterflies all over. This is something we usually don't find in other bls except Chinese BLs , but finally this kdrama giving the perfect competition. I hope the further ep keep the story line and the flow still up , imt already excited for next Friday. Can't wait anymore 🥹😭😭💌

repetitive, cringe, boring, un-funny

the ending was absolutely terrible??

the romance was unnecessary and had no chemistry, the episodes were boring and predictable.

also, the empathy test made 0 sense. how did dr. shin supposedly feel the same as detective geum if he was unconscious? if the emotion that shin was trying to feel was pity/compassion why was geum feeling that while being choked????

funny but there were MANY plotholes

overall i really enjoyed this show!
it was funny and entertaining but there were SOOO many plotholes.
some examples: chae-ni can only teleport when her heart is beating rapidly but there are multiple moments where she teleports randomly, kyung-hoon only sticks when he lies but there were moments where he hadn't lied and would stick, kyung-hoon can only stick to objects himself so how did he get all those people to stick to that inflatable turnip, how did that inflatable turnip fit in that jail cell + why didn't the police get rid of the turnip before locking the prisoners in the cell, how did chae-ni not get blown into a million pieces by that airship, how did chae-ni come back from "the desert" in 3 weeks with no money/passport/food/water/anything, how is woon-jung's mother alive when it was clearly stated that she was dead + how did he find her?.. the list goes on
anyways, it was fun! chae-ni and woon-jung r such a cute couple iajgiejaig <33

The lives of entertainment agency staff and stars in Korea

This show has a lot of potential for future seasons. The main characters were interesting, smart, flawed. The secondary characters were quirky and lovable. Sure there were some storylines that did not get fleshed out enough and their were cliffhangers but overall this is a very enjoyable, non-serious watch. Steve Noh was the standout. I looked forward to all his scenes with Kwak Sun Young (who is such a fun actress to watch).

Behind Every Star is a hidden gem for casual viewing.

I’m ready to expand my cooking skills !! ?

Honestly, a lot of kdramas I’ve watched end with me feeling neutral, but this - I literally stood up happy, clapping, and am satisfied with this ending!
The closing was great compared to previous shows I’ve watched.
The ML, 10/10. Between his acting and reactions, he is doing so well for himself early in his career. Would love to see him in another drama as the ML.
I’m also on cloud 9 right now because I just finished watching My Royal Nemesis right before I started this show.
I AM SATISFIED.

If Only They Became Friends

I fell in love with the cinematography from the very first episode. The drama was beautifully made. Maybe because I’ve watched so many detective dramas before, I guessed the culprit by the second episode. The following episodes were just me being gaslit into thinking I was wrong while stressing over how the story unfolded.

There were parts where it lost my interest. I think fewer episodes would have made the drama even stronger.

My doomed bromance. My doomed lovers. I will forever cry about them.

This story is a sad reflection of reality, where the people who are supposed to protect used the power given to them to protect their selves.

I think the ending was quite realistic. Some injustices are simply brought to light, not served with justice.

“I will make your youth twinkle just like your wish“ Ha Eun Gyeol

STORY was beautiful! I really like how everyone and everything was all connected in a way. Everyone’s connection was so unique, funny and pleasant to watch! The whole time its like a mystery, you are like part of the journey trying to figure it out together while having the laughs too. Yi chan was such a funny and interesting character, love the bromance. Love how the main leads learn a “life lesson”/see a diff perspective on their parents and grow as a person (extra points to character development for all the main leads). I like how everything turned out from start to finish! Some moments do get slow but the curiosity and humour makes u enjoy the boat.

ACTING everyone was so good but gotta give the credit to In A and EunSoo they slayed their roles, especially Eunsoo she shows all the emotions without even talking I respect that.

MUSIC personally was just average on first listen but more you listen and see the story behind it, you start liking it more.

REWATCH VALUE I mean I binged it in 2 days so I def think I will be rewatching it and prob in one go too.

OVERALL It was giving back to the future x lovely runner collab with the best parts. Such a good binge watch on your day offs. Refreshing watch if you have been watching too much intense dramas (like weak hero). If you want a cute high school romance/friendship but a fun twist and a deeper story then choose this!

This is one of the Thai BLs that mysteriously have stayed under the radar. It's unique in its premise, the actors do a very good job, the writing is solid, and it's all around a production I can recommend, even if the whole is not exceptionally outstanding.

The drama tells us five different stories, that are nevertheless connected -- how exactly they are connected, is hinted at in episode two and four, and revealed in episode six. And while the reveal and the last story are fine, I love that each of the previous stories can also be watched as standalones: Fine love stories, tightly written, without filler but nevertheless giving us all the emotional connection we need -- which only proves my view that most Thai BLs are needlessy long.

The two main actors, who take on the main roles in every story, show their acting versatility: The characters are very different each story, not only in style but also in mannerisms, and if I hadn't known they are the same actors, I would have had difficulties recognizing them. Both are supported by a capable cast -- I was very happy to see Fiat Patchata again in this production.

I'll keep this review short, because anything more would be a spoiler. Just maybe this: While it's true that every meeting has a parting, it's also true that it's not over until it's over.

My thoughts so far (Ep. 12):

Okay First of all, the start was actually so good. I love fantasy dramas, and I loved all the fantasy elements they introduced. The world-building had me hooked from the first episode. SWL was so insanely powerful too... I was like yeah..😭

But then after he met her... idk, it just feels like he became a completely different person.

LXY(his character ) is actually testing my patience SO bad. Like why are you still begging and chasing someone just because of some old memories?? and when the hell you fell in love with her?? I get y'all have history, but that's not enough for me to understand why he's making these choices. At this point I'm more annoyed than sad for him. also remember his brother is dead(he killed him) still all he know is to asking for forgiveness?

And JLF(her character) girl, I'm so confused idk why her character is acting like that. Maybe I'm missing something that'll get explained later, but his brother literally just died and she barely seems affected?? I expected way more emotion. It's making it really hard for me to connect with her character. She's just annoying fr

One thing that ALWAYS annoys me in dramas is when a character has the power to change their situation but instead chooses to suffer because they're in love with someone who barely gives them the time of day. Like STAND UP PLEASE. 😭 That's exactly what's happening here and it's driving me insane.

After everything that happened with his brother, I genuinely thought LXY would be focused on grieving, getting revenge, or at least finding out the truth. But nope... he's still running after her. WHY?? 😭 And she's over here acting all cute like nothing even happened, which is making me even more frustrated.

I'm really hoping the later episodes change my mind because this drama genuinely has so much potential. The fantasy setup is interesting, and both leads are really good actors, so I know they can pull it off. I just hope the writing starts doing them justice.

But as of Ep. 12... these characters are stressing me out way more than they're making me emotional.
