Storyline..
Absolutely loved this BL. Fell in love with Thada..His visuals were beyond handsome..He was all masculine. Armin was the cutie. He was a lucky man to have such a gentle admirer who loved him deeply. Armin was a bit of a complex character who had been treated badly in his past life and having been killed off by people he thought was loyal he was reborn and meeting Thada saved his life. A fan from a distance. As for the stepbrother he was a vicious horrible human being who acted like a spoilt toddler stamping his feet and screaming when things didn't go his way and his mother was
a right bit#h..The scene where Armin was shot was a trauma for Thada. The acting was just enough.. Not overdone. I thought Armin was dead.. 😪. Pity we dont have more BLs like this.. Angst and drama is definately my bias and judging by some BL fans I'm not alone. Cheesy sloppy BL series are a turn
off. I hate cheesy.. When both MLs were in bed episode 10 when the director mentioned to rise up my mind turned dirty.. All in All a really great BL.. You know it's good when you can't wait for the next episode.. Thanks to all who gave us this little gem of a series. I hope both MLs are given
another pairing in another BL.. They gelled together nicely plus I want Thada in my life again.

Inconsistent comedy, boring love triangle and underdeveloped romance. Bright is HOT though.
Subjective Gut Rating: 6.75I wanted to watch something with Bright V, so I decided to check out “Love Lesson 010”. This is usually not my type of drama as the trailer and first episode showed that this drama is an over-the-top comedy. I actually started and stopped, and thought the low rating was due to how crazy this drama is. But I am in search of a happy drama, so this seems to be the perfect one for me to watch now.
After watching this, I realized the low rating might not be due to its crazy comedy, but the inconsistent comedy throughout the drama and its boring love triangle and underdeveloped romance. I persisted and didn’t drop this because of Bright and thank goodness he’s good and incredibly good-looking. Otherwise, even though this drama only has 8 episodes, it felt long and too short at the same time.
The drama premise is good and interesting. Kanta (FL) must help Non (ML) find love in order to avoid death. This seems like a funny plot to help the promiscuous and good-looking Non to rediscover himself, move past what’s been haunting him and then eventually find love. The first episode is raunchy and crazily over-the-top. I was not prepared for the number of scenes where I can see Bright’s butt in front of me. And yes, this is how the drama all started.
The main strength of this drama is the acting. I have to say, all actors did their part really well with Prang (as Kanta) and Bright (as Non) setting the tone. I was not aware that Pat is in this drama and I’ve always liked her. Even with the overdramatic acting, crazy antics and no shortage of second-hand embarrassment, I had a great time with the first few episodes and wasn’t put off by its cringiness. This drama is also full of beautiful actresses.
Unfortunately, mid-way through, logic is totally thrown off the window. With only 3 short months to help the promiscuous Non find love, he has 3 romance storylines. Kanta also did not do anything she could to help Non but just kept on yelling at him to find love. She should be spending her main focus on helping Non. Unfortunately, the boring love triangle happened and the focus was switched. Chef Benz is such a boring character. I don’t see how two beautiful women fall so madly in love with him. Your wife drowned and disappeared, and you can’t stay single for more than 3 months? I guess it’s not Benz’s fault, but the writer's fault. I was also incredibly disappointed in the writing of Non and Ket’s relationship. They just don’t have enough scenes together for me to believe that they have both slowly developed feelings for each other. I mean, Non has 2 other serious relationships during these 3 months, and Ket suddenly has Pete (also boring) in the picture. When do they have time to fall in love?
Additionally, the fun and crazy antics disappeared in the second half. I can’t believe I said this, but I wish the raunchy comedy will continue throughout the drama. I don’t even need raunchiness, but keeping a romantic-comedy vibe would be great. Unfortunately, the drama’s tone becomes very melodramatic for most of the second half.
Unless you want to check out Bright’s butt and his handsome self, I would not recommend this drama.

Do you feel anything?
This is such a weird concept, but this one and the sequel, were both done really well. I can’t lie. I think the sequel is better but this one’s still good and I think it’s definitely worth watching. I would give it a 7.6 or a 7.5 out of 10. Y'all, know the drill, what I like, what I didn’t like, and then an overview, and then we’re done.OK, I think I am just really obsessed with the robot trope. Because I watched the sequel first, cause I didn’t know they were the same thing, and that one was really good and I think I just really like the robot thing and I don’t know why but yeah. I think of the setup of the show made this show and the other one make more sense and it just feels very weird and dystopian. I think that’s 100% the vibe of the show and I think that the setup was phenomenal. I also like the acting I think they had this weird kind of charm to it. The robot guy was really good acting and the other guy was still good but not as good and he kinda had this awkward vibe and he played that role really well. I think they had pretty good chemistry, but it had that weird awkward charm to it, that really brought this show to life. Also, I think I definitely should’ve watched this one first. I think the whole thing with him feeling actual emotions and not just the emotion he was programmed was genuinely phenomenal and I think that was so interesting to think about and how something that doesn’t really exist can break out of what it is set to do to do. Like the more you feed it information the more it adapts which is kind of like a test to our world and the rise of AI, but I won’t get into that but yeah, definitely really interesting and seeing it in my BL for that of course makes me a lot better, but I really enjoyed it. the fact that the robot was intelligent enough to feel emotions, but not intelligent enough to understand why low-key freaked me out. I think a lot of our emotions we don’t understand why we have them, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that we have them.
What I didn’t like, I think this one was kind of boring. I just think the other one was objectively more fun and had better characters. The second thing I didn’t like was the fucking uncle like I know he set them up in the first place, but oh my God, that guy is so fucking annoying. Yeah, there wasn’t a lot of plot in this and it was just like Oh this happened and now we’re not gonna do anything to further our romance or the plot for like three episodes and I’m like bro what? So a lot of wasted potential there. I think that they could’ve made this show a couple of episodes longer and put a little more plot in here because I feel like I was missing parts of it which I did not really enjoy. This one is way more heavy on like the impact of robots and just robots in general and their actual love story and the other one is just like oh we’re in love always and oh my butler is a robot like I like the other one better and this one is way more heavy on robots and stuff and I think they could’ve done more with the love story aspect.
Good setup. ”Robots aren’t supposed to feel shame he’s like embarrassed so it’s just like very scary because I’m assuming the robots in this feed off what they see other people doing but he hasn’t even been outside the factory that long and so he doesn’t quite know what shame is, but he’s feeling very creepy.” There was a lady who programmed him to feel actual human emotions without the knowledge of the uncle was a g. “This feels like it was made in 2015, I can't really explain it. He gets more and more human. Imagine ur an AI and the one thing you are scared of is lightning and you dont even know why. That would freak me out.” The plot, started to slow down and not a lot was happening, wise or plot-wise. Pretty OK ending.
I think that this and the other one is low-key really cute too. So just give it a shot. Okay bye!

Veryyy Funny!!!
As a romantic girly, I found this show really interesting. The comedy is what truly makes it shine. However, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a strong romance, since the romantic elements are very light. That said, it’s extremely funny. The cast was fantastic, and I really loved both the FL and ML. I would have given it a perfect 10, but the final episode felt somewhat rushed. That said, I enjoyed everything else and would absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for something funny

Stylish and emotional, but frustratingly unrealistic in its relationship dynamics
𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 is one of those dramas where I appreciated the concept and execution, but strongly disagreed with the emotional logic behind the relationships. I’ll be blunt — I really disliked the female lead and many of the choices she made. And more than that, I couldn’t stand how the male lead was written in response to those choices. The show presents itself as a modern, realistic look at love in a big city, but when it came to emotional consequences, it felt oddly detached from reality. After what the female lead did, the male lead never truly showed anger, resentment, or even healthy frustration. At some point — especially over eight episodes — there should have been genuine emotional backlash. Instead, his reactions stayed soft, forgiving, and oddly polite, reduced to a gentle “I don’t like what you did.” That didn’t feel human to me.
I understand that love can make people irrational — and the drama clearly leans into that idea — but this crossed into territory where the characters no longer felt believable. I wasn’t rooting for them to get back together at all. Their dynamic lacked emotional balance, and the resolution felt more like emotional avoidance than growth. A big part of that is that the female lead came across as deeply unhealed and emotionally immature, making her actions feel less complex and more frustrating to watch. Because of this, I honestly wanted to drop the show multiple times while watching — I kept going more out of curiosity than emotional investment.
More broadly, the way the men were written in this show was frustrating. Many of them felt like they existed solely to endure emotional neglect or mistreatment without pushback. It came across as men bending endlessly while the women faced little consequence — not empowering, just unbalanced. That imbalance made it hard to fully invest in the romance or take its emotional conclusions seriously.
That said, the drama does have strengths. The format is creative, the cinematography is stylish, and the urban atmosphere is well captured. The dialogue can be introspective, and some moments of vulnerability do land. It’s emotionally reflective, just not emotionally honest all the way through.
Pros:
✔ Unique interview-style format and modern presentation
✔ Strong city atmosphere and visual style
✔ Thoughtful moments about love, timing, and loneliness
Cons:
✘ Unrealistic emotional reactions from the male lead
✘ Relationship dynamics feel one-sided and unearned
✘ Female lead’s choices lack meaningful accountability
✘ Romance resolution feels emotionally hollow
Would I rewatch?
No — while parts of it are well-made, the relationship dynamics left me more irritated than moved.

Manipulative He Was or Manipulative He Is?
If you know one, you recognise one for what he is. Gotta admit, he was a superb manipulater, but I don't think this is the end of it. They left that plot hole of a an evil woman, his "nanna", or better yet, if you don't remember the secret coming out at some point, his real mother, who happened to kill her son's leftover family after he was threatened with the herance at his parents memorial. And how did she cover it all up? A fire, just like in the end. So, yeah, I think she set the fire and saved her son, remember, he was still alive, and there's a possibility of a second season. If that's the case, they gave a little hint at the end, bring it on!
Congrats to everyone involved in this remake of Fabricated City (that was surprising!), picking it back up and, honestly, making it better than the original, which for me was poor and weak.
Awesome performances by both Ji Chang Wook as a neverending fighter for justice and Doh Kyung Soo, as one of the greatest villains. I mean, he really took that role seriously. Wow.
All in all, a crazy worthy addicting watch.

Such a sweet and hot rom com
Well done! My fellow reviewer is right, the story starts hot. And till now episode 10, the drama remains hot. Very unusual for a K-drama, however, also decently made and shown:-)The story is a bit flat but enjoyable as it flows nicely and easy to watch. No big drama, simply a super sweet romantic comedy with two well known actors who have become leads in this drama. And they are wonderful together, great chemistry. The ML was already cute in NOW WE ARE BREAKING UP, but here, he is great. A new star! And we know the FL from THE HOSPITAL LIST, here, she has become a beautiful superstar with great comedian talent. Just to see the transformation of these two leads is a good reason to watch this relaxing melo. I am very sure that the story ends well and the temperature is kept high

An amazing show! Must watch.
This has to be the very best film that I have ever seen. Everything was executed so well. From the acting to the music to the sets to the cinematography, it was pure art. I will be surprised if it doesn't sweep the awards shows this coming year.I was intrigued from the very beginning when she first met with him in prison. Even starting with the intro, I could sense his lonliness and his deep sorrow and I began to feel for him.
I found myself completely pulled into their world and I empathized with all of the characters who had suffered. In fact, I cried my eyes out during the entire last episode.
Please do not let the synopsis throw you off. This is not some serial killer show. It's more about vengence and, above all, it is a love story. A beautiful love story of happiness, pain, and sacrifice. Definitely a MUST WATCH.

The winner takes it all
I would give my life if I could watch this show for the first time again. First in my bloodline to witness this shit. I would give it an 8.8 so a 9 out of 10. People didn’t like the ending and I think they could’ve done more with it, but I still liked it. So I’m gonna say what I liked, what I didn’t like, and then we’re gonna do like a little overview. So starting off the bat with the omegaverse trope. Fight the allegations, but that is one of my favorite tropes EVER, behind another one that this show did which is mpreg. And I’m sick of pretending like I don’t fucking love it. It’s fucking great, so when I heard that they were gonna make a drama of this, you know my ass was gonna move heaven and hell to watch this shit. I was watching this every fucking week when this came out. I liked our main couple and I like our side couple. Towards the start, I liked the side couple more but then towards the end I liked the main couple more. I think that everyone’s character was fantastic like of course not everyone wasn’t a good person, but they were just brought to life so well and it was genuinely great. Starting with Hua Yong holy moly, fantastic character because I was being gaslit too. I’m like wait why are we mad at him again? I’m like oh shit he’s fucking lying to you, fantastic plot. I don’t really get into like the enigma shit but the fact that he was lying about being Omega and then he switched and was actually an enigma and then got his alpha pregnant. Next fucking question my show is on what the hell. I think that the fact that Sheng Shao You or whatever, I like his reaction to just being lied to like he’s like What the fuck I just got lied to and then he just kept getting lied to, and then now he’s pregnant oh my God I’d be like What the fuck. Next up, my favorite character in this entire show, Gao Tu, fantastic character. I genuinely loved him. The acting was phenomenal and the fact that he had some unrequited love with a childhood friend and then got pregnant from that same friend. Oh my God my show is on dude holy fuck and he was just so worried. Of course they’re ending. It’s like fine. I guess it’s not but I’m just gonna have to deal with it, but I loved his character so very fucking and holy shit. Wen lang can lowkey suck my dick but fantastic acting because this character pissed me the fuck off. Another thing I also liked is that they made the omegaversus the main plot like I don’t like when they put it on the back burner and I thought they were gonna do that because it’s a Chinese fucking drama. It’s the first ever OMEGAVERSE I’m like they’re going to do that. No, the Omega Verse was the main plot. Their weird fucking businesses. They were all around the fucking omega verse and around like the pheromones and shit. Every single thing in this show had to do with the Omega Verse and I fucking love that, and they did such a phenomenal job with that. Also, I love the costumes and the settings and everything. It was great and also the editing I cringed with the pheromones but great job because they brought that shit to life. Holy moly. I love this show. Also for fucking Chinese censorship, they stuck their foot into their fucking sex scenes. Of course, we did have two back-to-back fucking rape scenes that I low-key trauma blocked and I didn’t remember until I re-watched it for the fourth time (that should say a lot about this show), but they didn’t even have to show anything. They set it up perfectly. They did like some insinuating like assuming. Oh my God, they did that so well. And the mpreg I was not expecting like a full baby bump thing, but people on TikTok were convinced that there was a baby bump. I don’t think there was, but I was not expecting that they were gonna do stuff like rubbing his stomach. I love everything and he’s like the fuck is your problem he’s like you got my baby in there. He’s like you fucking bitch. I’m a man. I loved that to death. It was so fucking good and I’m surprised that they like went fully with it towards the end they had the time skip with them and their kid like I’m surprised they went all the way there and I’m glad they fucking did dude holy shit. I love this show. I also liked how Hua Yong's omega personality never really faded but we also knew it was a front even when it wasn’t. Yeah, I’m truly honored that I am first in my bloodline to ever witness this. Also, I loved how they showed the heat and the rut, that was fucking phenomenal. We ate that shit up. I can’t even lie and I’m sick of pretending that this isn’t peak. This show was phenomenal and I’m not gonna pretend it wasn’t just cause it’s an omegaverse. Also, the chemistry between our couples holy fucking moly we have so much chemistry just between all of us.I also like how when he found out that his cute omega bag was an enigma he was like what the fuck and then like Hua Yong got a fucking cement block dropped on him and then a metal rod to the back to protect him and then he’s like OK fine I’ll get pregnant. Yeah, I remember that happening. I remember this is exactly how the story went…definitely… I also just remembered the Lore that hua yong has actually been obsessed with him for like a while now and that’s why he’s so head over heels for him and he’s willing to give up everything for him and I low-key ate that up I can’t even lie like he’s like I’m so in love with you and it’s like I’m willing to lie to you and become this person. I’m not just to make you happy and I was like OKKKAAYYYY!!
What I didn’t like, starting right off the bat Fucking Wen Lang. That dumb bitch can genuinely suck my fucking left dick shut the fuck up with your fucking fat ass. Oh my fucking God shut your fuck ass up he was annoying. His character was written miserably. I cannot even lie. It was just such a shitty fucking character and he’s like Oh I don’t like him. I don’t like him and then something just clicked and he was like Oh I like him and I’m going to go crazy based on my tribal instincts. Also, the ending with our second couple that’s what people’s main criticism with the show is and they’re hating on the show because of that. I think they set it up for a season two which I don’t know if we’re gonna get because censorship and all that but they set it up perfectly for a season two but I wish they ended them a little bit differently and instead of like oh he’s a single dad for the past like three years and then he sees across the ball pit and he hugs him and that’s the end of their thing. They could’ve had like a conversation there. It could’ve been like very standoffish and kind of been like Hey I’m ready to be a dad or he’s always been ready to be a dad but he like disappeared. Also, the fact that there was two back-to-back rape scenes, I’m like holy fucking moly and I don’t know if it also got the other guy pregnant but like that’s just so kind of like annoying. This shit with the X holding things I don’t think I understood and as they start talking about that, I’m like why don’t we get naked kiss cause I don’t know what we’re fucking talking about right now like I’m the owner of X Holdings because I’m the bastard of my dad‘s left ball sack Cousin‘s cat‘s grandmother and I’m like what are we fucking talking about right now?
OK, let’s get into my overview which is gonna be all over the place because this is 16 episodes I think. Right off the bat I was like Where is my side couple I want to see them. ”That was low-key a fire episode but I wish they split this more evenly but it’s like whatever the plot is coming together and acting better and I actually low-key like the characters and I like how it’s like there’s other plot besides the omegaverse.” But the plot still related back to the Omega Verse, which was fucking great. “I wish they did more with those episodes instead of just like sitting like a waiting duck kind of episode.” I was gonna put the fact that there was a lot of waiting and things I didn’t like, but it was low-key re-watching it. I was just like delirious and like there was a lot of waiting, but it was still like juicy plot and I enjoyed it. Their power dynamic like for our main couple was low-key terrible but I was only OK with it because I knew it was gonna flip. “Me when the omega guy. I swear he's always in heat but me too when his sexy ass is on screen, my lord.” “This show needs to lock in bc i cant bring myself to hate it.” “REF DO SOMETHING. NURSE HE GOT OUT AGAIN. Gorgeous scene with Hua Yong and Sheng i think. GORGEOUS. So everyone is going to hell. So the same thing happened it was just flipped. You know what hell yeah.” This was the rape scene that I had genuinely no idea what was happening and people who were also watching, were pissed about this and I low-key did not know what was happening. I can’t even lie. “S Tier Alpha? Worse?” This show is so addictive. “GAO TU PREGNANCY ERAAAAA. Mr. Shen is a dumb piece of shit and if he wasn’t so fucking dumb he would have connected the dots already. Dumb bag of rocks. Hua yong is such a good manipulator I lowkey forgot why we were mad at him.” “If you stab someone in a fatal spot and they get up and keep moving RUN. Especially run if they rub their blood on them as well.” “Yeah, I lowkey became so obsessed with Hua Yong and Sheng's dynamic at the end. Hua Yong loves the child only because it's sheng. I thought that was very romantic. The ending bruhhh.”
I would sacrifice my entire bloodline if it means I can watch this shit for the first time again. Watch this shit, rewatch this shit, watch this shit in the bathtub, even while you’re sleeping bro, in the air even, just watch this shit. Okay bye!

Filmed on someone's iPhone
This was pretty forgettable but it's short and on YouTube for free so watch it or don’t. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. I am gonna say what I liked, what I didn’t like, and then a very short overview because there are 5 episodes lmao. What I liked. The bald guy was handsome and the same with the other guy. The other guy's eyes were especially sexy oh my lord. I think the plot was like something with fake dating and it was cute. Kind of. I think that both of the actors were good at acting and the show was very to the point and yeah, it’s like oh this happened and then this happened and there wasn’t fluff, but there was fluff, but like not a lot. I think that the characters were pretty likable, and the guy with the sexy eyes was low-key very funny. The plot was good. I can’t lie but it’s five episodes and they’re all like eight minutes so they can only do so much with that. Also, they kissed surprisingly and it was like a good kiss I was not expecting it but yeah, I think the ending was fine, and yeah.
This was genuinely so random and one of the most forgettable shows I’ve ever watched, but I’m trying really hard to remember it right now. Fake dating plot but we don’t know how to date and it was just very awkward. For this show, they spent all their budget on this house and not enough budget on a better camera I swear to God. The girl's character had a max of two minutes of screen time and she pissed me off THAT ENTIRE two minutes. Fuck off. Yeah just besides the filming and the budget this show wasn’t that bad.
“They gave them a camera and said go wild.” That sums up the entire plot. That’s what I said in my first episode review. The actors were good, it's just the filming budget wasn't. “I like the plot idea it's just too short to do anything lmao.” “They filmed this shit on someone’s iPhone. KISS??? Hello. Hello???? Crazy ending to a cute show. I did not expect them to kiss at all I'm gonna be honest.”
You can skip this one but for what it was, it was pretty good. Okay bye!

Missing puzzle but beautiful.
This is not your usual BL story. On Cloud Nine is a film that makes you think, ponder, and ask questions along the way. If you’re expecting hot, steamy love scenes, this is not the series for you. Instead, it offers something more subtle and thought-provoking.The title itself hints at the mystery: the characters are not among the living. Yet, how they passed remains unknown, leaving viewers to piece together fragments of meaning. It’s a story that demands more than one viewing, you’ll find yourself rewatching to catch details, connections, and to truly understand who is who.
The actors deliver performances that pull you in with quiet intensity. Their presence lingers, and it’s easy to imagine them taking on more lead roles in the future.
Overall, On Cloud Nine is a hauntingly beautiful experience, like a missing puzzle piece that keeps you searching, reflecting, and appreciating its delicate storytelling.

This was so incredibly boring, but I would do it all over for Forcebook
This took me, no joke, 900 days to finish; it was so boring. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. Yeah, this was a hard watch, so let's get into it. What I like, what I didn't, and then overall.Hard watch or hard while watching? I feel like these two always get shity plots (besides perfect 10 liners, twas gas, so gas I haven't reviewed that either lmao), but that does not make their chemistry any less good. These two have so much fucking chemistry it is overwhelming. I like that they played their characters well because I didn't like them lmao, so good acting. Their sex scenes were good, very good acting and good chemistry, it felt FANTASTIC. I also liked the outfits in this, and I don't really know why; they were basic, but I still really liked them. The start had a love at first sight trope, and I also enjoyed that, and I thought that was very cute, I can't even lie. Yeah, I don't have anything else nice to say about this show.
What I didn't like was everything, next fucking question. Starting right off the bat with the intern and boss plot, it is overdone, and it is always done terribly, and this was no exception. You can't do this trope well because it is weird; it gives way to terrible power dynamics and just terrible everything. Going off the power dynamics, they were so bad in this. I feel like, Cher, I think the name is, whatever book's character is geniuely acted like a child, and that is fine, until it's not. He felt very infantilized and incompetent, and that pissed me off. I can't really explain it, but it gave me this weird vibe. And the fact that Force's character was his boss made this so much worse, because he gave more of daddy energy, which I loved, but not paired with the vibes of Book's character. That was not fun. Also, the lore with the pregnant girlfriend, holy moly, that was so boring, like it was okay, but the way they did it was terrible, and the fact that Cher is just supposed to move on from that and get with his boss was such terrible writing I can't lie. Oh my god, and the annoying ass fucking younger brother, like he is going out of his way to take care of you, you are so annoying, I swear. The irrelevant gaming and ASMR plot LIKE WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING? I know they are a gaming company and all that, but they could have connected everything better because they did a terrible job doing that, and it just felt so fucking boring and made this a hard fucking watch. Yeah, just overall the plot was boring and just the same overdone thing that we have all seen one million times, so annoying. RANDOM ASS SIDE COUPLES, HOLY FUCK CAN WE GET ANYMORE BORING, YOU GUYS JUST NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP I SWEAR TO GOD. Also, did we ever get lore for the boss or just for Cher? I don't remember, so probably not, wasted opportunity, I fear. THE THING WITH THE MOM. You got them apart for about 5 minutes on screen, and then they got back together. Why did you even show up? That does not make any sense, my god, just wasting my time, I swear to god. Okay, yeah, a very hard watch, I can't even lie.
I had accidentally started this, but the first episode was good, and I liked it. They have such good chemistry, and the tension was crazzyyy. "It's not a Thai drama if someone can't drive lol, That's usually how they get trapped lol." So true me 900 days ago. They were going really fast at the start. I was watching this on my mom's brand new TV...that she has had for like 2 years now, so that says a lot for how long this took me. I was raving over Forcebook, but the show was boring. The phi gun shit was gnarly, I can't lie. "This show is mentally a lot lol." I need Force to play a really crazy villain because he has the face to do that. The only reason I stuck out the show was for their chemistry, and I would do it one hundred times over. Also, you know you have been watching them on screen together too long when they start to look like siblings, lmao. "Brought to you by Force and his evil, sad eyes." "Hey, I know your mom just told me to stay the fuck away, and you are now in a massive scandal for helping my dead exes' younger brother, but let's have sex." "Force would look so good in some sluty winged eyeliner on g."
Hard ass watch, but I would give my life for Force and Book. Would I recommend? No...but watch it if you want, I really don't GAF tbh. Okay bye!

Almost perfect but lacked at some points
Firstly, it started off very strong I really liked the vibe and the way the story of the siblings was presented it was all dark and the producers did a great job. It was unique and I was really invested in the story of Ahjin, Kim Yoojeong did a fantastic job by portraying the character and as I was not convinced by her acting in previous dramas I’ve watched, I can say that she was brilliant here and she WAS Ahjin, Yoojeong was clearly the best out of the cast. However, I cant say the same about Youngdae. I really enjoyed him in the Penthouse but I felt like I was watching the same character here. I know he has a specific way of acting and he does not show so much expressions but I feel like it suited his character in Penthouse but not Junseo. I became tired of watching him in the second part of the drama as he barely had any expressions, regardless of the scene. And I know it wasnt because Junseo was expressionless it was the actor, it didnt matter to whom he was talking to in the drama, he was always boring and it itched me so much.I have to say that I completely don’t understand why the boys sticked to Ahjin so much. It was obvious she doesn’t value them and they knew it, she only talked to them when she needed something especially to Jae Oh, he looked up to her because she was the one that understood his actions in high school but beside that they barely had any interactions and I can’t comprehend it that he could commit any crime for her, as well as getting killed for her. The same thing with Junseo, he always was by her side until he acknowledged her actions when her father died. He didn’t approve it, he didn’t like it, that was the first time he told her she did wrong and he will not be by her side anymore. But he did. Every single time! She kept on doing even worse and worse things, but he was always with her. He scolded her but also helped her hide the evidence, defended her and made himself a culprit, which is contradictory. Only at the end, he was the one that uncovered her true persona, but still “helped” her run away? Beside scolding her and coming back to her he didn’t have any important role and by the time he was only given random scenes that were unnecessary for the plot.
Also, it was really weird to watch him crushing on her and even trying to kiss her? They are somehow step-siblings, not by blood but they were growing up together for many years, which is really uncomfortable.
The other thing that itched me a little was the fact that Ahjin talked to her so called boyfriend about breaking up and she could have done it with simply stating that she doesn’t want it anymore because it posed a threat to her acting career, however she kept on telling him how she really is and her true intestions and even somehow hinted that she was the one who killed his grandmother, which is not true and it was shown that it was an accident and she could have proved it. It was shown many times that she has her plans made from the bottom to the top, she knows everything about her victims and how they would react, what benefits she could gain, but still acted irrationally here. It was obvious that when he did something to himself people would talk shit about her, which is unfavorable to her. Why didn’t she just break up with him without telling him that. I can’t understand why previously she made up more complicated plans but failed in this simple one.
I felt like some scenes or actions just were included in the drama but were not necessary or important. The husband Dohyuk was the most useless character in the drama. Everybody thought that he was the one that will take revenge on Ahjin but didn’t do anything. He tried to make her lose her mind and even tried to change script to trigger the trauma in her, but even despite the fact he failed, it in fact did not really had any consequences. Female lead didn’t even lose her mind nor did she have any mental problems like she previously started to have. It magically disappeared like her husband. Also there was one scene where they show us that Ahjin can feel empathy and she is clearly scared that Ingangs grandmother could die, but it is not used anywhere else nor shown any other scenes where is empathizing with someone.
The fact that she survived the accident was also hilarious but of course we have to be dissatisfied by the fact that SHE was the only character alive, even though she should be the one to die. I know it was intentional but I think they could came up with something better.
Overall it was not bad, I really enjoyed it and I wasn’t bored even for a minute, the acting, the aesthetic, the vibe was perfect. It simply started to fading a little throughout the drama and only the last episodes were not it, but I think it was something fresh when it comes to dramas and it was fun to watch something that stoods out a little.

He's a red flag, but he's MY red flag
Author FL gets into her own trashy edgy melo webnovel as a doomed villain, wants to change the genre to a cliche romance so she can live, but woops, too late, she wrote her ML to be an unhinged hoodlum barely surviving in seedy neighborhoods, and he misreads her protection for sexual advances, because why else this rich girl would hover around him, pick up his hearing aids, find him a place to stay ? ML is totally a red flag, but I like that author FL takes responsibility : she created him, he's her little toxic monster, so she's not going to run from him but instead is going to take care of her own mess. This was a pleasant surprise, I expected a very gimmicky, light meta comedy and instead got serious thinking about the consequences of the FL playing God, and her slowly accepting that she can't control everything, including her own heart. This was overall well produced and written, right until the lovely ending. Was this review helpful to you?
