hurt & healing

Overall: I had mixed feelings about this series. Adapted from manga series "Therapy Game" by Hinohara Meguru which I haven't read and I reviewed the series based on its own merits. 9 episodes about 20 minutes each. Aired on GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/5935/therapy-game-2025 (not available in Japan or South Korea).

Content Warnings: held against will, manipulation, trauma; past death, murder, manipulation, child abuse

What I Liked
- easy to understand premise
- caring moments
- a character stood up to his friend
- supportive people (friends, siblings, ex girlfriend)

Room For Improvement
- started with a flash forward
- nonsense stuff: his friends just left him when he was super drunk, a cliche in episode 1, a person couldn't get out of a necklace that had a magnetic clasp/looked very easy to break, all those candles and magically they have what they need in a 10 year abandoned house
- really wish therapy with a licensed professional was at least discussed if not shown
- in real life, Minato would be so exhausting, I'm not 100% convinced these two will stay happy together

I appreciate the effort put into the kdrama My Demon!

I liked My Demon, it's my favorite kdrama and I would love to watch it again.
I love the chemistry between the actors, the filming locations and the actions!đŸ–€

From what I understand, people don't like it because it was "copied" from the kdrama Goblin. I didn't find it very similar, at least that's what I remember because I watched it when it was released.

From how many reviews who say they don't like it, I actually liked it and I love it. I appreciate the effort put in and the fact that some people appreciate it as well.

Best Kdrama My Demon!! đŸ˜đŸ”„

THEM.

ik this got a rly low rating but I've literally rewatched it multiple times and I rated it 9

cuz like sky's whiny and teasy acting is so good and just with vee's shyness in violence oh my gosh such a good combo

I also love love love that sky doesn't give up on Vee and it like how it's not that toxic of a relationship, it's rather funny and sky re pursuing vee in a cute way until vee melts

lets not forget the visuals that they're freaking hot

for me, this doesn't deserve such an understatement like 6.7
it deserves like 7.8-8.6 range

Enemies-to-Lovers w/ Heated Kisses!

**Note: I have NOT read the novel that this drama is based on (I didn’t even know there was one) so my opinions have nothing to do with whether either drama stayed true to the book nor which one did it better!**

This is a short adaptation of the hit drama, “The Prisoner of Beauty” (which is one of my all time fav dramas now!!) So the storyline is the same, though this did make some changes in plot execution & pacing. The whole show takes about 2.5hrs to watch. Luckily, I found it on a streaming app with fairly good subtitles (though there were some serious mistakes - instead of FL being called ManMan, it kept translating it to Barbara/Barbarian
whaaaa?!? đŸ€ŻđŸ˜‚). For the parts where the subs got it wrong, I was able to fill in the real meaning due to having watched the original multiple times now. 😁

The actors who played the Leads both did very well. I’ve seen the ML in multiple dramas (the most recent being his role in, “Your Sunshine” ), but the FL was a new face for me. They had very good onscreen chemistry & I felt, for a short drama, they did the original justice. One major difference, though, is that this drama has quite a bit more skinship đŸ«ŁđŸ«  (so it could very well be labeled as a guilty pleasure type show 😉). Another big change is there’s no secondary love story, nor the core group of friends surrounding the Leads. This helped make “Yield to You” a drama in its own right, since not every single thing is the same (which you shouldn’t expect anyways since it’s so much shorter than the full length drama.)

All in all, if you’re a fan of TPoB or simply a fan of the actors’ work, I recommend watching this vertical, short drama 🙃

Moral Bankruptcy, Bad Wigs, and Surprisingly Good Chemistry

Alright, gather round, chaos enthusiasts. This drama is not for the faint of heart or those who enjoy neatly wrapped moral lessons. The ethics in here are wobbly at best—like a toddler on roller skates—but that’s part of the fun. Each 10-minute episode feels like someone tried to condense three emotional breakdowns and one questionable life choice into a single espresso shot. And you know what? It works. I was hooked, blinking in disbelief but unable to look away.

Now, let’s talk production. The budget? Missing, presumed dead. The emperor’s acting was serving “community theatre villain with unpaid bills.” The OST has been reincarnated more times than the leads, and the wigs
spiritual experience of their own. Yet, somehow, none of this ruins the fun—it just adds flavor.

The leads are a special breed of unhinged. Their dynamic starts off as “toxic fumes and trauma bonding,” then slides into “kinda hot, actually.” The reincarnation twist adds spice: the FL remembers the first life, the ML does not, and together they prove that hate and love are basically just different toppings on the same emotional pizza. Both of them are morally carbonated, fizzing with chaos and guilt, but balanced enough to make you root for them anyway.

By the end, the FL does what most characters in revenge plots forget to do—she heals. She drops the hate, forgives the man who probably deserved to be set on fire at least once, and becomes his biggest cheerleader. Growth, baby. Toxic but touching.

And bro—if these two needed three lifetimes to get it right, how am I supposed to find my happiness in just one?!

In conclusion: it’s a short, chaotic, ethically grey pit stop between your prestige dramas. Expect messy emotions, shaky wigs, and a surprisingly wholesome aftertaste. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would I question your sanity if you liked it too much? Also yes.

A drama with an identity crisis

Finished this tonight and it was definitely one of the weirdest dramas I have ever watched! It was not terrible. There were some scenes and episodes that were fine and actually the side characters literally saved this show (old and young grandma, and the bestie Minji). There was also some hugeeeee character development towards the end. Especially Suzy crying in the dessert was pretty sad and showed topnotch acting. As well as the genie from the past when he was holding her dead body. Also very heartbreaking. The very end was a bit strange tho. Also the unnecessary violence felt a bit off and added to the identity crisis this drama had been having since the beginning: is it Fantasy? Comedy? Drama? Romance? Action? Historical? Crime thriller? It was trying to be all of that at once!!! It was too much!

Some messages of the drama were really nice tho: being greedy is sth that will come and bite you back, being helpful and kind but not to put other before yourself was kind of the message to live by that this drama was trying to convey.
I liked the different themes of mental illness and lgbtq+ visibility. It was very refreshing and sth that is rarely shown openly in KDrama like this.

For me the drama was a bit of a rollercoaster.
The first episode was quite messy. I didn’t know what to think of the main leads at the beginning. Genie’s hair freaked me out a bit as well 😅 Also, the grandma slicing up Ka-young’s hand to teach her a lesson was a bit too much imo. Luckily their relationship has improved over the years and Ka-young has grown into a good person.
After the first episode it gradually got better. Some things that happened on the way towards the end were a bit too much like the unnecessary use of violence and gory got me questioning whether that was needed for the style and genre this drama was going for đŸ€”
The old guy reflected in the mirror in khalid’s body also creeped me out a lot!!! Again, what is this drama trying to be???

One of the highlights was Song Hye Kyo as Jinniya 😍😍😍How frigging gorgeous can someone be??? She is my absolute favorite actress!!!

All in all I can recommend this drama only if you dont mind messy concepts and are in for sth on the lighter side that is easy to watch.

The storyline is actually so good

Chiaki & Enaga are so freaking cute i want to cry.
The difference the characters have when in different situations, and when Enaga "becomes" AE is actually so cute. It shows both their true personalities and their chemistry. The fact that they are both flustered around each other, even when it's Enaga and not AE is genuinely so cute, Chiaki is already in love cmon (Enaga has been down BAD for so long stawp they're so pookies).
Enaga wants to call Chiaki "LOML" so bad i just know OMG THEY'RE MAKING ME GO CRAZY AAHHHHHH

Things I learned from Love in tye Cloud drama

1. Strength isn’t just about winning, it’s about enduring.

Ming Yi starts as the strongest warrior in the realms, but when she’s poisoned and loses her powers, she learns that real strength isn’t measured by how many battles we win, it’s how we carry ourselves when everything we rely on is stripped away.

✧ In life: True power lies in resilience, not perfection.

2. People aren’t always what they seem.

Ji Bo Zai appears cold, mysterious, maybe even untrustworthy but beneath the surface, he’s fighting his own pain and trying to protect others.

✧ In life: Everyone has unseen struggles. Learning to look beyond appearances can open the door to real understanding and compassion.

3. Love grows in trust, not control.

Both Ming Yi and Ji Bo Zai have secrets. Their relationship only begins to heal when they start trusting and showing vulnerability instead of hiding behind pride.

✧ In life: Love isn’t about dominance or perfection, it’s about two imperfect people choosing honesty over ego.

4. Letting go is sometimes the purest form of love.

In their world of destiny and divine duty, the characters often have to choose between what they want and what’s right.

✧ In life: Real love often means allowing people to grow, even if that means walking separate paths for a while.

5. Healing begins with forgiveness including self-forgiveness.

Both leads carry guilt and past wounds. Their journey shows that forgiveness isn’t weakness; it’s the first step toward freedom.

✧ In life: We can’t move forward while clutching old pain. Forgiving ourselves for past mistakes is the start of peace.

Most beautiful love story

This such a beautiful love story the chemistry with these leads despite their age difference the actress is in her 20s and ml is in his 40s is steaming and touching all the same time. The ending is hard to interpret it seems that she died from cancer but in the flower field after the credits you see them together i thing it just a fantasy even though part me hopes its reality. This only drama that has sad 😔 ending that ill re-watch again and again 😱 i highly recommend giving this drama a chance the story is everything.

I was kicking the air the whole time ?

For me, I personally love lovey-dovey series, if it's BL or not. here, thai BLs, especially GMM, really lives on university dramas. however, i really liked how Perfect 10 Liners is laid out even though it's almost the same plot (kinda). it doesn't give you that second hand embaressment but still manages to make us laugh and cry at the same time.

advantages: cast and acting. i honestly loved the cast, like perfect? and i look forward to seeing JuniorMark in more series. they really have potential to grow.
and i really love Perth in this. he really is made for these kind of roles.

changes?: the roles. i feel like MarcPoon is not really working IN THIS DRAMA. why? maybe i feel like Poon is more funnier and clumsy than all lovey-dovey. i think if their relationship was a bit easier yet funnier, they would have been better. and AouBoom. I love them but I don't think their story was that 'special' and i see potential so they could've made their story a bit fun.

Watching the series in one breath

The drama is amazing; among all the now-airing dramas, this one was a fresh breath of air from standard drama lines. I enjoyed it so much. It's a pity that on social media it has not been popularised as it should have. But it's so worth all the series and the tension. The cast is perfect, the roles are played so well that I was watching the series in one breath: the ending, it's good to see a season 2 of this.
My general impression, I liked the main character's lines, even the characteristics of the best friend and husband, which initially gave me way different impression. The drama is worth watching, and I will gladly rewatch it, even though that's not specific to me.
Strongly recommend.

Don't read the webtoon before

Usually I don't write reviews but I'm so disappointed in this series that I needed to say something. I read the webtoon before watching it and probably it was a mistake because I ended up watching something entirely different from the original BL. First of all the characters, Heesu is quite irritanting, so much that I get annoyed when he is in the story, he seems a bully who only cares for his best friend and wants to get Seungwon a girlfriend so desperately that he even comes out as forceful and rude, Ji Yu was nothing like this in the original story and some relationships don't even exist. No character in the webtoon is so irritating, snob or annoying like in this series. I recommed you to read the bl which is very funny and cute but I don't recommed watching this series at all

Most idiotic series of the year

The fuck was that series Zomvivor (2025)? I’ve seen tons of zombie, apocalypse survival stuff from around the world, but this was just shit, man. Pure brainrot, pure ragebait. The most cringey drama of the year, and the characters were the dumbest things in it. It felt like the story was written by an AI, or the director told a rookie “Just do whatever you like, man.” Every character acted like the script said “be stupid,” and the plot was so raigebait I wanted to go there and kill those characters myself. What the fuck is even that, man? Was the investor trying to launder black money through this series? What was Netflix thinking before approving it? And the producers didn’t even stop to think this type of shit could become popular. Only I know how the fuck I completed this series. Now I need to watch something good to refresh my mind.

I loved it!

Listen, it's not a BL. A lot of the negative comments about this show on this page are because people were expecting a BL, even though it was never marketed as one. Some of the comments it's obvious that people are watching this without being fans of other shows of its kind.

Honestly it's a great addition to the survival horror genre! I say this as someone who loves shows/movies about zombies or epidemic outbreaks, and also as someone who loves and has seen all the BLs that these actors are in.

Highlights for me - the acting is really great honestly. Shout out especially to Tommy, Boss, Yim for making their characters really believable. The chemistry between a lot of the stars was excellent! I mean they felt like friends or like enemies or like frenemies 😆 whatever they were trying to achieve with the character dynamics I really think they aced it.

There were some really good twists and turns. i won't spoil any of them, but I also like how some of the characters who pissed me off really got some karmic final moments.

Something I wasn't a huge fan of was a lot of the focus on the science and the adult characters in the flashbacks. I just felt like it took away some of the drama of the here-and-now. Also I'd prefer not to be explained all the ins and outs, because it's more tense to not really know wtf is going on.

I didn't mind the petty arguments, because they're in stressful situations and that's what happens in these shows. Think of All of Us Are Dead, Battle Royale, Night has Come... Theyre still young folks with a lot of drama in their lives and that doesn't miraculously disappear just because they've got bigger fish to fry. If that was the case no one would ever have petty drama, because surely there's always bigger fish?

Anyways, definitely worth a watch if you like this kind of thing or enjoy the actors. I really hope there's a second season, theres more story to be told! But considering how long it took for the first one to come out I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

(Also I wish BL fans would stop bitching about things not being the story they wanted to watch. If it's not for you that's fine, but shitting all over it or fast forwarding most of the story and then complaining about it being boring... How short is your attention span that you can't sit through 7 episodes of a high tension show without thinking it's boring? Maybe stop fast forwarding it and enjoy it for the experience it is...)

Slow Burn Romance with Cute Interactions

I may have to stop saying I don't like romance dramas, because I enjoyed this. It had appealing leads, pretty shots, a pleasant soundtrack, and remarkably few ridiculous misunderstandings. The child actors were stellar, too, adding sweetness to a story about human loneliness and healing from trauma.

I gave an extra half star for intelligent, mature adults acting like intelligent, mature adults. So refreshing!
