maybe i was bias
I watched Blank as it was coming out and was not really aware of the plot of the show, all I knew was that Faye was in it. honestly she was honestly the reason I really tuned in. The first episode lowkey weirded me out since the other main actress looked so young, but found out she was of age, so I kept watching.1) I did see a lot of comments that said that "Yoko" the younger actress, and Faye looked like mother and daughter, and I would not say that was the case. yoko has a young-looking face, and Faye has a very mature "aura", so i get where the comments came from, but it was exaggerated. the grooming allegation were too much ( i would not say the same for that book tho...)
2) Maybe if they aged up the characters a bit, it would not be as bad? starting it off with the younger one in highschool was... definitely a choice, even if she was an adult but the plot got a little better from there.
3) I think blank was good at the time because of the lack of content at the time ( and Faye was in it). comparing blank with alot of shows that are out now, blank would have a pretty hard time.
4) I was biased while watching the show past the 3rd episode. NOW rewatching it was clear eyes, the show was mid, though not as bad as it was said online, it was not the GREAT either, and quite controversial.
5) Do watch the show before judging. some of you might not like it, and that's understandable, other might like it, and that's also okay. form an opinion AFTER WATCHING.
6) Nothing in this series should happen in real life, because it's fiction. its contains elements of stalking, abuse, and harassment, so that might be too much for some.

My God, Does Yoo Ah In Overact Sometimes
Hello to all the good, lucky people who know this drama exists, for it is brilliant and exciting and I love it!But my god, does Yoo Ah In overact sometimes. He's great, don't get me wrong, and he's great to listen to and to look at, but I wish he'd tone it down a few notches sometimes.
Moo Hyul's my favourite, the OST is wonderful - I actually listen to some parts of it on Spotify - and the story is great, and uplifting and sad in parts and moving and funny.
But my god, does Yoo Ah In overact sometimes.

suzy steals the show!
if I were scoring based on the plot, I would have given 7.5. because to be frank, the plot was a bit haphazard. but my overall score goes to a 9 because of Susie Bae. wow, not only was her acting fantastic whether comedy or tragedy, whether speaking or not, but she was absolutely gorgeous. from innocent pretty to sexy hot. easily the best performance I have seen from her. anyway back to the show. the side characters were great. The locations were also excellent. in most kdramas I fast forward quite a bit, but in this one I did not. also, the cameo by Song Hye- Kyu was fantastic. You want chemistry? her and Suzy's scenes together were brilliant. more please. Was this review helpful to you?
Certainly worth the high ratings!
I began to binge watch this series at the perfect moment; Thunderstorm outside the dark, cold and gloomy atmosphere made a 10/10 first episode even more enjoyable. It gave me the sense that this was going to be a horror show that just happened to revolve around gay men, it's not though, it is instead a beautifully told love story that knows no gender or sexuality and so strong that it can't be stopped, not by curses, Vengeful spirits or even death, with a little horror here and there just for funsies and a gorgeous cast for good measure. Though I did want more horror I can't complain about a story this good.
I got fully invested in the past lives connections, the mystery of the curse attached to Khem. How stunning the ladies were in their past lives, the adorable little boys, again the entire cast is so gorgeous. I have to applaud especially how well the casting of the younger versions of Khem, the shaman and Phrim was it's flawless totally believable.
Ramphueng is a perfectly written Villain, she's the kind of villain so awful, so ruthless yet you get where they're coming from and could easily root for them. Her curse is so petty so harsh and unfair, however, her back story is heartbreaking and just as unfair as the curse was. I wasn't expecting it to be this good, but for me this one is a 10/10 beginning to end.

BORING
I don't know, but I'll be honest, this is the drama I've been looking forward to this year. Besides the really interesting visuals and the great Reuters scene, but then when I watched it, I... Stopped in the middle of the episode because the storyline was slow and lacked direction. I know the Xian Xia theme is common. But this was boring. Aside from the stunning cgi and good OST, some of the episodes were... Not quite right. The chemistry is good, but I think Lu Yuxiao, the female lead, needs more practice. Her expressions are consistent and complex even when the scene or situation changes. Was this review helpful to you?

Unlikable boss becomes... loving boyfriend eventually? Not convinced.
(I rate vertical dramas on their own sliding scale. General spoilers only.) Meh for me. In the first 2 hrs the ML was only nice to the FL 5 times! He was demanding, unreasonable, ambiguous, and snippy with her the rest of the time. The last 40min slowly got more sweet but not enough for the FL's falling in love with him to make sense to me. Twice he told her that she should lose weight (she's already very thin). Especially hurtful since she was heavier in highschool and lost 20 lbs for her crush only for him to pick someone else over her; and the ML overhears this in office gossip and still says it. š¤¢The ML's "pursuit" of the FL, if you can call it that because he doesn't do it well or thoughtfully, is awkward because of the boss-subordinate dynamic and because she has a boyfriend and he has a family-arranged fiance. Instead of being nice to her, the ML is grumpy and petulant in his jealousy. There are multiple moments where he pushes boundaries and she even brings up that things would count as sexual harassment. He forces a kiss on her as well. But at least he immediately apologized for it (many in vertical dramas do not).
The only reason I made it through was because I like the two lead actors. Chemistry was okay but not great, and felt more lacking from the FL side. They had a couple good kisses later on, but I didn't feel a magnetic pull between them/their characters. I did like the FL's family and how her parents supported and rallied behind her.
Some slightly annoying side characters but they don't get too much screentime.
This left me feeling apathetic, but not annoyed, so I rated it a 5.

Good but confusing
The story at times was really good and at other times it was a bit "huh?". It was a new type of plot -at least for me-, and it had a great potential. The acting was good however i didnt like how the actress was showing emotions, it didnt feel as natural as the male lead. Would probably not rewatch as i think that would make me find more things i dont likeWas this review helpful to you?
Choi e a dra. Jeok. Baita drama!

*just my opinion*
Okay, so, how do i start this? To be honest, the 6.9 rating on dramalist seems a bit too high for this drama. No joke. It had potential despite there being many kdramas with sort of a similar plot. For the first two episodes, the drama would seem like something worth watching. However, after that, Iāve no words. If anybody requires a simple answer, Iād just tell them to not waste their precious time watching whatever this is.First of all, the FL seems to have absolutely no emotions on her face regardless of the situation she is in. Some of you would argue that thatās the whole point. I agree, however, her face doesnāt really give off that āemotionlessā vibe that actors like Han So Hee, Park Ji Hoon, etc give off. This girl just looks like she straight up doesnāt know how to act. But honestly, if you were to watch this drama, her acting would be the last of your concerns, considering the amount of flaws the drama itself has.
The only character that had some common sense was Kang Ha. At least, everything he said, his actions were justified and understandable. However, i CANNOT say the same for Jae-i. You know those kind of people that would witness a crime happening and do absolutely nothing to stop it, then go home and blabber on about how they feel sad for whatever happened? Thatās the kind of person she is. If you donāt agree, itās fine. But, honestly, I cannot find a better way to describe her.
She acted like she felt so bad for Kang Haās brother but still never left his side, stayed being friends with him, despite knowing the kind of mad dogs her boyfriend and his friends are.
how mean can you be, dude? Even after such a big tragedy happening, she continues being the same. Like, whereās the character development??Āæ Whole time she just uses Kang Ha to forget about Ri-an, leads him on, gives him false hopes and then when the time comes, tells him that sheād do anything to protect Ri-an. What the heck is happening here, exactly? To be honest, i also do not understand why Kang-Ha stood by her side because if I were him, I would just let her go to hell or smth.
She is nothing but a self centred, selfish, idiotic freak. Like, I get that you were and are in love with Ri-an. But how blind in love can you be to not see the bazillions of flaws he has? Like be so fr. This just doesnāt sit right with me. Itās unrealistic. Even if he may not have been directly involved in Kang Haās brotherās death, he still contributed A LOT to his death. How could you just sit down and ask the brother of the guy that your boyfriend was indirectly involved in K###ing, to sympathise with your boyfriend? What a freak šš It was just a typical rich boy obsessed with rich girl plot.
Also, the teacher sleeping with Woo Jin??Āæ!!!! Why is she so full of herself despite knowing sheās a low life gold digging pedophile whoās also a murderous b!!!tch???? I ABSOLUTELY despised it whenever she put on that innocent face around people and acted so clueless about everything happeningšš
Like be so fr. You need to be behind bars. I was already suspicious of her and Woo Jin the minute the drama started. They couldnāt have made it more obvious. She gave absolutely no flying f#ck about In Hanās death (like everybody in the drama lolššš) , just pretended she did, despite being directly involved. The only person she cared about was Woo-Jin, a minor who she taught at school and was sleeping with. A MINOR. ew. are you not disgusted with yourself? And apparently, Woo Jin was in love with Hae Ra which she didnāt like. what in the actual f#ck was this drama, really? Everybody seemed to be in love with each other. Just a sh#tshow of a bunch of wh0res, i feel.
Tbh, I donāt even have anymore words to say. Iāve already said ALOT. I want everyone reading this to not watch this, tyā¤ļø

Visually stunning with an engaging plot
From all yhe episodes out so far it is a 10/10!! itās so different to normal Xian xia or wuxia drama. I canāt figure out TLC powers , he seems to know everything. And loving the leaks to his past !! the drama is visually stunning ! My fav fight seen is still ep2 between TLC and LY, no one does better blood spits than LYX. The OST and bmg is also stunning esp the opening theme, itās constantly playing in the background especially when the gang sets off to another adventure!more to come !!

Khemjira Proves Novelty Still Exists
Full disclosure: This is my first time officially reviewing anything on MDL, but this drama is so deserving, I couldn't help myself.Khemjira is genuinely one of the BEST dramas of 2025. It has single-handedly set the standard for novel storytelling, bar none.
Damn, I could do without the same old tropes we've been fed lately. Honestly, after three (or ten!) other series repeating the exact same tired plotsāI could recite the script in my sleep, come on!āthis was a truly pleasant surprise.
I read they took a massive gamble by sticking faithfully to the novel's structure, and boy am I glad they did. I normally HATE horror, but in this one, it was so beautifully done. (Don't judge me, I still watched those scenes through squinted eyes and on mute ābut never mind that detail!) The romance was also perfectly handled; not forced or over-complicated, just right. The entire cast absolutely nailed it. Hats off to them.
If this doesn't sweep the awards, I am going to be damn PEEVED OFF!
P.S. Directors, take note: This doesn't mean we need 100 copies of Khemjira. It means we want ORIGINALITY. Where on earth has the novelty gone in being creative?

OMG IT WAS REALLY GOOD FR
It was a wonderful time that I spent watching this ongoing, it was very cool and good fr. I am satisfied with almost all the emotions that I felt during the entire viewing, and the spectrum was really wide.āļø: What about the plot? actually very interesting, good plot theme and development, this 1963, princes, country, money, fictitious marriage, falling in love with your fiancĆ©e's brother, homophobia, and many other problems are shown, and a lot of action, a little more action and also action. ( just what i can saying without spoilers).
āļø Filming, picture, acting everything was great. The cast amazing , the women are hot, the guys are beautiful. And the CHEMISTRY KILLING here was so much of it, the tension was so strong that the temperature was rising and I was sitting all my face red.
This project is noteworthy and worth watching. I recommend it.

Really hope this is the new standard for BL!!
I LOVE that they wrapped up the Rhampeung stuff within the first half an hour and spent the rest on the aftermath. Her stuff really didn't need to be dragged further. Charnjet were so cute ahhhhh!! Also peemkhem, omg my heart. THE WAY THONG AND AKE CAME BACK AS THEIR KIDS WAS SO ADORABLE!!!! ? I really really loved this series so so much. I actually feel contempt with this. Like ususally I am so sad because they resolve the issue and by the time that's done, we only get to see the characters for another 10-20mins. This was lovely though. It didn't feel rushed or dragged out. I'll miss them so so much though, it doesn't need a special ep but I would love one ? What a wonderful series. I really didn't expect anything going into this and feel like I won the lottery lmao. Hoping that other bls take notes on this series because wow. I love it with all my heart. So creative, and beautiful, and ahhh just I can't even put my feelings into words because it was just that amazing. I'll really really miss this series. I fell in love with the ost's, the characters, the storyline, the chemistry... It will be so hard to find another series like this, but right now I am so glad to be alive to have witnessed this beautiful piece haha. The gl storyline was so good too ahhh (honestly, I really enjoyed all the backstories) . The whole thing with the wedding and all that, Jin asking if there is a time where the same gender could get married... ahhh all of it was just so so good. They did such a good job I can't believe it ? This series made me laugh, cry, squeal, jump, all the possible emotions out there. I feel so thankful for all the emotions and moments this series has given me, from actually watching it, to discussing it with my friends. It was truly wonderful. I have watched a lot of bus, from really trashy ones, to genuinely good ones. But damn, this one really blew my mind. I had a wonderful time watching this, and I hope to see many more amazing series like this in the future, it will be hard, but I really hope it does happen. There are many more things that I could mention, because this series has so so many amazing features and I would be talking forever if I started, so I'll leave it at this. I feel like you could really tell that everybody involved put a lot of care and thought into this, and it really paid off.Was this review helpful to you?
Could've been great
For anyone that remembers, this was originally supposed to be a WabiSabi production, until WabiSabi dismantled their artist management and Boun and Prem moved to GMM. Part of me wishes that this didn't go to GMM , specifically because from the WabiSabi mock trailer, this show was supposed to be dark and serious originally, and under GMM it became a vampire romantic comedy. Now don't get me wrong, I love a romcom, but if you're going to give m a vampire show I want it dark and bloody. The fight scenes weren't great, and it really seemed like they could not figure out the tone of this show. I think if they had stuck to the original idea of a dark, serious vampire show - or if GMM decided to scrap the idea and give BounPrem a romcom - it would've been much better. When art restorationist Punn (Prem) is fixing up a painting for an upcoming exhibit, he releases Ramil (Boun), the leader of the vampires who has been trapped for a century. Ramil, unfamiliar with the current world, takes an immediate liking to Punn, who teaches him. Punn seems to have mixed feelings about Ramil, and his dreams of laying in bed beside him don't help. The two grow closer and Punn learns about the world of vampires, but not all of them trust this sudden mortal addition to their group. As hunters start to target Ramil and his family, Punn has to decide whose side he will take.
I love a vampire plot, and I was quite happy with the special effects in this show (especially compared to the god awful effects GMM had in My Golden Blood....yes I'm still mad about that show). However, it felt like they kept going back and forth between wanting this serious hunter vs. vampire action show and a silly vampire x human romance. There were a few episodes that had me really invested, especially as we learn more about Punn's secrets, but the beginning and end of the show were fairly mediocre. I won't put any spoilers here, but I did feel that the final resolution was a bit underwhelming. Still a fun watch, but I can't help but think about how good it could've been if the right amount of planning and money had gone into it.
