Chemistry On Top, Romance That Actually Romances
I binge-watched this drama for a week without having any high expectations. And honestly, I can say this is one of the best C-dramas I’ve ever watched.I really don’t understand why people keep criticizing Esther Yu just because of her voice. For me, her voice is perfectly fine. It adapts to the mood and emotions of each scene. For example, during the Thailand arc, Mumu was still immature, so it made sense for her voice to sound more high-pitched. As the character grows, the voice gradually becomes more fitting.
But if you watch this drama with intense hatred toward Esther Yu, then everything she does will naturally annoy you. In that case, you simply shouldn’t watch this drama at all. There’s just too much time wasted hating someone over something as trivial as their voice.
And honestly, if you can watch Zhao Lusi’s dramas, even though her voice can be quite grating at times, then you should be able to watch any drama starring Esther Yu. Sorry I mentioned Zhao Lusi because you know....
Moving on to the story itself, the only thing I disliked was the moment Jiang Zhao decided to send Mumu back to Canada because her mother was sick. He made a decision for Mumu as if he were her. I understand that he was hurt and didn’t want to burden her, but he had no right to make that choice on her behalf.
Imagine finding out everything about the person you love through other people, while everyone else knows before you do. That hurts. Please stop lying under the excuse of “protecting someone.” It never works. The moment you choose to break up to protect someone, you don’t realize that you’re actually destroying their life—especially when most of their world already revolves around loving you.
That’s the only part I didn’t like, and thankfully, the conflict wasn’t dragged out for too long. Overall, I loved almost everything about this drama. The chemistry was top-tier, and the romance truly felt romantic.
The only recurring issue with Esther Yu’s dramas is the excessive episode cuts. Ski Into Love had the same problem, so did My Journey to You and A Romance of the Little Forest. Why do all her dramas have to suffer from heavy editing? It’s such a waste, especially when all her dramas are genuinely good.

Real Life, Unfiltered
A very interesting and truly special drama. This is not the typical light or silly K-drama at all. it’s deep, philosophical, and at times quite gloomy. Yet, this never takes away from its ability to draw you in. All the characters are compelling, but to be honest, I mainly watched it for Kim Ji-won and Son Suk-ku. After the halfway point, I found myself skipping scenes that didn’t involve them. It’s strange because I never thought I would enjoy this kind of drama, being such a big rom-com lover. However, its portrayal of human fragility and imperfection makes it incredibly realistic. Nothing feels fake or overly romanticized. There is very little physical contact, only one kiss that isn’t even clearly shown, yet the leads feel like two magnets constantly pulling toward and away from each other.
It’s important to say that this is not a “satisfying” drama in the traditional sense. if that’s what you’re looking for, this might not be for you. The ending isn’t really an ending at all: nothing sad, nothing happy, just life going on. And somehow, someone like me who usually looks for happy endings, ended up watching this, crying, smiling, doubting, and appreciating it.
A drama about real life, with all its growth and struggles. I was genuinely confused and bored during the first episodes, but I’m glad I kept going, because I eventually understood the depth of the story and every character. I’m sure this drama didn’t work for everyone, if you watch it superficially, it’s impossible to truly understand it.

Honest comment from a Go Younjung fan.
First of all, Kim Seon Ho and Go Younjung really excited me, and this drama felt very different to me; you know, considering the popularity of the screenwriters and the cast, it's impossible not to be excited. So I watched it as soon as it came out, and honestly, I didn't like the character of DO RA MI at all; it was better without her, and the romantic scenes felt very inadequate to me. I didn't like the lead actress's character either acted very childish and silly, which annoyed me sometimes, but it wasn't bad, watchable. I'd give this series an 8 because I love the cast ☺️☺️ Have a good day, take care of yourselves 🙂↕️🙂↕️Was this review helpful to you?
Nice, Warm, and Easy to Watch
This is a cute and pleasant romantic drama with solid character growth and a gradual dive into the leads’ personal stories. The actors are both talented and good looking, and the couple is sweet together. The work and friendship setting is enjoyable and keeps the story moving. That said, I didn’t find anything particularly special or memorable nothing that made me giggle or feel overly excited. It’s an easy watch, perfect to pass the time, but I think it could have benefited from fewer episodes to keep the story lighter and avoid unnecessary moments.
Overall, a nice and comforting drama. 8/10

Love Between Lines: A Masterclass in Mature Romance and Character Depth.
"Love Between Lines" offers a refreshingly mature and heartwarming romance, anchored by likeable, relatable characters and a narrative that delves into themes of life, dreams, friendship, and work. The unique premise, centering on two individuals who meet in a virtual reality murder mystery game and later connect in real life, sets the stage for a compelling exploration of how perceived differences can dissolve into genuine similarity and a positive, evolving relationship, both online and off. The plot masterfully balances intriguing mystery and tension with a grounded look at the everyday struggles and triumphs of its diverse cast, showcasing how mutual support strengthens them through life's challenges.
The characterizations are a standout, particularly the female lead, Hu Xiu. She's delicately and beautifully written – intelligent, kind, and soft-spoken, yet possessing an inner strength that prevents her from being a pushover. Her vulnerabilities don't equate to weakness; instead, they fuel a beautiful journey from uncertainty to self-discovery and a fight for her passions. Lu Yuxiao delivers a captivating performance, portraying Hu Xiu with an immersive and expressive quality that makes her transformation utterly believable. Equally compelling is the male lead, Xiao Yu. He embodies the ideal of a calm, collected, professional, and warm individual with high emotional intelligence. His aura is comforting, and despite past unresolved issues, he remains approachable, likable, mature, understanding, and respectful. Chen Xingyu's portrayal is so effective that one could easily write an essay dedicated solely to his nuanced performance.
However, the true heart of "Love Between Lines" lies in the relationship between the leads. It's a mature connection built on mutual understanding and communication, where both individuals actively help each other grow, offer unwavering support, and look out for one another. This is a refreshingly non-dramatic romance where the significance of small conversations and shared moments truly matters. He helps her find her confidence, and she wholeheartedly roots for his success, looking up to him. Their organic chemistry builds naturally, step by step, offering a blueprint for the kind of relationships we need to see more of on screen.
Beyond the romance, the friendship between Zhang and Hu Xiu is incredibly touching, bringing moments of warmth, healing, and unconditional love that are deeply affecting. I wholeheartedly recommend "Love Between Lines," a show that initially drew me in with its cast but ultimately captivated me with its exceptional presentation and writing.

The FL is so cute, ML is lovely too but please someone gives him longer pants, my man whenever he sits his pants flies up to his knees.
The story was nice, I loved the missions the most I wish there were more scenes with the FL doing some crazy missions instead of all the family/relationship drama, but generally it was a good watch.
I loved the chemistry and of course the cute height difference, I want to keep the FL in my pocket she is super adorable ~

It's mid. After ep9 I don't like. Not a romcom
I started watching it because I like Seonho. The actors are good. I saw some reviews saying that halfway through the drama it became bad, so I hesitated to keep watching. And I really didn’t like it toward the end. It was supposed to be a rom-com, but it felt like a horror movie. I didn’t understand why it took such a turn. Thankfully, the acting makes up for it.Was this review helpful to you?

Not the Light Rom-Com I Expected
I had high expectations for this drama because I love both lead actors and I’m a big fan of romcoms. I really enjoyed the first episodes, they were engaging and promising, but around the middle, my interest started to fade. I think the main issue was the shift from a light romcom to a more unsettling, psychological tone. In other contexts, I might have appreciated this change, but here it felt unnecessary. I was hoping for something sweet, comforting, and carefree, like old school romcoms such as Hometown Cha Cha Cha, especially after so many heavy K-dramas released this past year. That said, putting my unmet expectations aside, I still think this is a good drama overall. The cast is excellent, the actors are both talented and charming, and the story is worth finishing. I did expect a bit more chemistry between the leads, but perhaps the darker subplot affected that emotional connection.
I still recommend giving it a watch!

The concept is so unique
I just loved the acting of Lu YuXiao and Hao Minghao….The characters were on point and even credits to Situ Ling for the incredible performance…..there is a lot of on screen and off screen chemistry between Ming Yi and Ji Bozai…The story is very unique and the FL starts as a strong woman and even ends the drama as a strong woman unlike most dramas….Ji bozai is to die for…his love for her is just incomparable to anyone else….they stood for each other at all times and I definitely could rewatch it a 100 timesI just loved the ML character..very flirty but yet loyal to only Ming Yi
It’s a must watch show and I am still not able to move on from this drama♥️
Lu Yixiao and Neo hao are such underrated actors and their off screen as well as on screen chemistry is on point

S3 revenge and justice stories were pretty good
I love S1 and S2 and I thought they set up the villains and stories pretty good for the audience to hate the villains and root for those that hire the premium taxi service. There's no overarching story this season so there's plenty of fresh stories that the Taxi crew can get on top of.Yes, it's incredibly unrealistic and definitely exaggerated but they make the series funny and the cast has good camaraderie. The plots feel resolved, except for maybe the last one. Felt like they could have done more but it's not enough to tarnish this season. Hope we get S4.

Best Romance for me This Year
This year was a year of amazing romance dramas, but this one really did something to my heart and I have revisited favorite scenes countlessly since. The chemistry between Hou Ming Hao and Lu Yu Xiao was electric. Their glances, the build up of their story was completely and utterly believable. The writer took the time to build their story. You could feel one falling for the other and then the other one after. You could feel their struggles, the guilt, the desire, the sacrifice, the passion. It's not always about the kissing scenes --but the scenes were SO beautifully done you could feel the build-up and complexity of each of their kisses. I loved this drama and thought the story was really well-written, executed, and it also wrapped up well -- no small feat for a C-drama. My favorite romance costume drama for 2025.Was this review helpful to you?
Is the Moth and the Butterfly finally together end?
I binge-watched the part 2 in one day.It was confusing at first on what was happening but it all fell into places soon. By the episode 2 , it was quite predictable on what was going to happen. Still enjoyable yet haunting .
If you have weak soul, be prepared with tissues for the ending.

Under the Aurora
Can This Love Be Translated shines brightest in its first six episodes. Those episodes are beautifully restrained—rich cinematography, quiet tension, and two people holding back while secretly wishing the other would stay. Episode 6 is the emotional peak. With his unresolved crush suddenly back in his life, the ML drifts, confused and unsure. The FL, already in love, steps back and roots for his happiness, even when it hurts.
Yet after the “accident”, at dawn, it is the FL he reaches out to.
The aurora scene says everything without words. Her relief that he is safe, his choice to share that moment with her, and their desire to stretch time just a little longer—this is where the drama feels most honest and alive.
The second half loses that clarity and emotional precision. But the feeling left by those early episodes lingers—rare, aching, and unforgettable—reminiscent of Crash Landing on You or Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
For that one night under the aurora alone, this drama is worth remembering.
