'I can stand him, not loving me; I can't stand him, loving her.' ~Lang Leav

This series is so good , our power couple is back , after " Moonlight Chicken " I was waiting for their comeback and finally they came with a great series .

Disclaimer - This is my own review according to my own feelings , this review may contain spoilers , Go On .

Story - This is an adaptation from a very popular show " Ossans Love " ( Japanese) . After the succession of the Japanese one , I had a high hope for this Thai One ( no 1 reason was EarthMixx ) and I am impressed a lot . The love triangle is not toxic but actually funny and cute , the way Mo ( Mix ) and Boss fought over Heng ( Earth ) is really so funny and cute . Earth is doing a completely different character from his previous shows ( Moonlight Chicken and A tale of Thousand Stars ) and he impressed me 100 % . Talking about Mixx , hands down , he is a great actor . He has some magic in his eyes , the way he expresses his emotions through his eyes, is really so natural and realistic . Mr Krit ( Boss ) is a professional actor , he nailed his role completely , the way he did everything so perfectly , is so good .

Cinematography and Visuals - I liked Mixx's fluffy hair so much , he was looking like a visual king , his coolness fits perfectly with his style . Cinematography was excellent .

My Opinion - I liked this drama a lot , after watching so many bad shows in 2024 , this is my healing pill in 2025 . So happy that my new year started with a great show , for me this shows is 9.5 /10 .

Entertaining and big on laughs but ultimately falls short of emotional payoff and feels shallow!

The series had me on quite the rollercoaster. It started off feeling a bit cringey with its over-the-top comedy, but as it went on I started to appreciate the depth it brought to its characters. The middle episodes really stood out for me with some strong emotional moments and character development especially Heng's. I could see the growth in the characters overall and their struggles, which made me invested in their journeys.

But honestly, the last two episodes completely threw me off. Instead of wrapping things up with the deep, meaningful conversations the drama had been building towards, it just fell into all these tired, unnecessary tropes. The characters barely talked things out or solved their issues in any satisfying way. It just felt like the show took a huge step backwards, totally undoing all the emotional depth and character development it had built up before. It was like they just threw everything out the window for the shallow plot twists which was really disappointing after all the character growth we had witnessed.

Characters :

Heng : Heng started off as immature, impulsive, and just living his best “I’m clueless and don’t care” life. But as the series progressed, he actually began to show some heart. He started to open up, deal with his emotions, and work on his issues. From being completely oblivious to actually getting his act together, Heng went through some solid character development. However, after all that, the drama essentially hit the reset button on his progress, which was incredibly frustrating for me. I was left wondering if any of his growth had even mattered.

Mo : Honestly, Mo could have been so much more. He was that guy who was all about the feelings but never said anything at the right time. He had so much going on, so many layers as a character, but when it came to Heng, he just shut down. He could talk to everyone else about his problems, but with Heng? No. It was frustrating because I knew he cared, but he just wouldn’t open up. Instead of dealing with things, he stayed stuck in this awkward back-and-forth of distancing himself without properly explaining, followed by a sudden epiphany where he would just say sorry and everything would be forgotten. It held him back from actually growing in their relationship or fixing anything. For me, he was all about missed chances and staying quiet when it counted.

Boss : He plays an important role in the love triangle that complicates Heng and Mo’s relationship. At times, he adds humor to the story and his support for Heng though sometimes misplaced brings a sense of warmth. It’s clear that the boss genuinely cares for Heng and his courage in standing up for Heng when needed makes him likable, though it's evident that his relationship with Heng isn't meant to be the final outcome.

Acting & Chemistry:

The chemistry between Mo and Heng was so obvious, but it honestly felt like we should have gotten more of them as a couple. Instead of diving deeper into their dynamic, the story introduced new arcs and characters that distracted from their relationship.  They definitely had a connection, but it was kind of on and off, there one moment, gone the next. It felt like there was so much more potential to explore and it would have been nice to see their relationship get more attention.

I always thought it was Heng who took the extra step, gave the benefit of the doubt, and actually did the "talking," while Mo never did. Throughout the series, Heng was labeled as someone oblivious to others' feelings, but I found him to be surprisingly considerate when it really mattered.
I will not lie , at one point I was hoping Boss and Heng should have been the end game considering how much effort he put for Heng and how communicative Boss was throughout in comparison to Mo.

In my opinion, Earth and Mix did a pretty solid job and their acting (almost) single-handedly saved the show from sinking due to some very questionable writing. Earth has great comedic timing and made the most of what he was given. The supporting cast did well too, though there were moments that felt a little too extra for my liking. There were also some unexpected cameos that genuinely caught me by surprise.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the series overall. It was lighthearted and entertaining, providing plenty of funny moments. However, there was nothing to really hit home about. It lacked a deeper emotional impact or lasting significance.
I would recommend it if you are earth and mix's fan or want to watch something light in between of heavy watches.

Between workplace harassment, silly jokes, extravagance, laughter and love: not to be missed

'Ossan's Love Thailand' is an excellent adaptation of the Japanese BL comedy series of the same name about an office love triangle.
Heng (Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri), the main character, is a single real estate agent in his thirties. With a silly and naive personality, who has never had a girlfriend, aspires to be the best salesman at the real estate company Okaeri, while his younger coworkers surpass him in monthly sales.
His personal life is also in chaos. His personal life is also in chaos. Tired of caring for her adult son, whom she calls "big boy", his mother moves out, leaving Heng alone at home, hoping to get him to become independent.
Everything could continue like this in Heng's life, but one day by chance he discovers that Kongdechi (Yamnarm Chakrit), his boss and branch manager, has romantic feelings for him.
Unlike the original work, in which the manager, a much older man, divorces his wife to pursue his lover, in this adaptation he is a widower, since his wife died 10 years ago.
Another change in the story is that this time, the manager, who is affectionately called "Boss" by everyone in the office, has a daughter named Cher-aim Charanda (Parn Nachcha Chuedang). When she finds out that the father could be in love with someone at the company, she asks Heng to help her discover who the lucky woman is, which will lead her to another discovery: it is Heng himself who stole her heart father. After accepting that her father is in love with another man, the daughter will support him in confessing his love for Heng and pursue him openly.
My only complaint is that I will have to regret the absence of the story between the Boss and his wife, Choko Kuribayashi (Ohtsuka Nene in the Japanese series), since their relationship was full of very touching moments, exploring themes related to marriage, divorce, midlife crisis and how to deal with unrequited love.
What Kongdechi did not realize is that the departure from the company of a former employee who gets married would open the doors for Momo (Mix Sahaphap Wongratch), another sales agent, to confess his secret love to Heng. Kongdechi was also unable to know that Heng has proposed that Momo live in his condominium so that, in his innocence, he can replace her mother, who has just left home in protest of the very disorganized life her son leads, who at his age still needs maternal care.
It also changes in the story that while in the Japanese original Maki (Mix) falls in love with Haruta (Heng) after starting to work at the company and moving in with him as his roommate, in the Thai adaptation Momo has been there for 8 years keeping his love for Heng a secret, but due to a misunderstanding he assumed that he was his friend Chicha's (Kapook Phatchara Tubthong) boyfriend, so he decided to take a position at a branch in Chiang Mai, in an attempt to support herself away from him.
Another change in the story is the existence of something more complicated than the typical three-sided love triangle, because while Chicha (Kapook Ploynira Hiruntaveesin) is in love with Heng; Newyear (Ryu Phudtripart Bhudthonamochai) has feelings for Chicha, and Ten (Thor Thinnaphan Tantui) is still attracted and seeks to reciprocate his desire for union with Momo.
Heng is unaware of Momo's feelings and only sees him as a friend from work.
Following the path of the iconic Japanese BL romantic comedy with a strong cultural impact and great popularity both in Japan and the rest of the world, even among viewers who do not usually watch this genre, it was to be expected that Thailand would decide to adapt the original story of the same name told for the first time in an episode directed by Ruto Toichiro and written by Tokuo Koji, premiered on December 31, 2016 on TV Asahi, in which we enjoy for the first time the performances of Tanaka Kei as Haruta Soichi and Yoshida Kotaro as Kurosawa Musashi.
Subsequently, this story has seen remakes and compilations, collected in 'Ossan's Love' (2018), 'Ossan zu Rabu: in the sky' (2019), and 'Ossan's Love Returns' (2024), the latter two with Hayashi Kento as Maki Ryota, Kurosawa's rival for Haruta's love; without forgetting 'Ossan's Love Hong Kong' (2021), a Hong Kong version of the popular Japanese series.
To film the Thai adaptation, Au Kornphom Niyomsilp, known for directing 'My School President' (2023) and 'My Love Mix-Up!' (2024) and many other BL series, called on screenwriters Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong ('Last Twilight', 2024), and Pratchaya Thavornthummarut ('Bad Buddy', 2022), to bring us back to the characters known to the public, to through a story that, like its predecessors, does not lack hilarious jokes in each episode, silly humor, eccentric characters and comically funny scenarios extravagant that will make everyone laugh.
Two confessions of love in a single night, with a kiss included, in the first episode, mark the path that the series will follow from now on. Heng, who admits to not liking men, is overwhelmed with two men fighting for her heart.
The characters, immersed in their roles and very well played by the actors, give us a story that, although exaggerated, with quirky humor and extravagant settings, explores surprisingly mature themes.
The first impression that the viewer takes away from the characters, especially Heng, is that they are extravagant caricatures, who fulfill their function of making people laugh.
Heng's clumsiness, lack of ambition and business intuition lead him to do his job poorly, which is why he constantly seems to receive criticism from his boss, who hides in his qualms his loving feelings for his subordinate.
I celebrate the casting that chose Earth for the role of Heng, because this actor, far from all the roles he has played so far, delivers a performance that borders on perfection due to his exaggerated reactions and his eccentric and clumsy behavior. The character is designed in the script in a cartoonish way, but the actor relies on his talent, ductility and professionalism to not only convey feelings and emotions, but also provide him with genuine charm.
Ossan's Love would not reach the solidity it has without the joy and contagious enthusiasm that Earth gives to its character.
On the other hand, the character played by Earth has qualities that humanize him in front of viewers, as he has a cheerful character and an optimistic attitude. Despite being clumsy and absent-minded, he cares about his other co-workers. He is not attracted to Kongdechi, however he is able to understand that his boss is in love with him, which leads him to experience sadness and discomfort, but never hatred or rejection.
Earth plays very well as an overwhelmed man who doesn't know how to navigate the work dynamic after his boss's confession, or how he suddenly finds himself faced with two romantic suitors.
Mix, for his part, plays another of the great roles of his artistic career as a friendly, affectionate and trustworthy person, who, fearful that his love will never be reciprocated, or that Kongdechi will take away the person he secretly loves, must face his boss for the love of Heng.
Mix's portrayal of Mo is a little stronger, and his chemistry with Earth is on par with this pair's performances in 'A Tale of a Thousand Stars', 'Moonlight Chicken', 'Cupid's Last Wish' and 'Our Skyy 2'.
Against all logic if we take into account that he is an older person, who radiates respect and treats his staff well, in addition to being the leader of the company's employees, Kongdechi also acts as a singular and bizarre being in his plans to conquer the man he has fallen in love with. Although his behavior seems inappropriate and borders on workplace harassment, everything is aimed at provoking thoughtful laughter.
The theme songs "Stuckling", performed by Earth, Mix and Jennie Pahan; "Lucky Fan" and "Untill", sung by Earth; "False Awekening", vocalized by Mix, and "You Are my Best", voiced by Earth and Mix, are part of a soundtrack as hilarious and extravagant as the story itself.

HENG, THE CHARACTER; EARTH, THE ACTOR

Defining Earth is a challenge, as he is a versatile performer, capable of moving naturally between drama and comedy.
From his acting debut as the endearing swimming captain Waii in 'Water Boyy' (2017), the serious and enigmatic forest chief Phupha in 'A Tale of Thousand Stars' (2021), the friend-turned-foe Korn in 'Cupid's Last Wish ' (2022), and his most recent Jim, the Hainanese chicken rice seller in 'Moonlight Chicken' (2023), the actor has demonstrated his ability to adapt to the demands of each paper. In the last three series he is paired with Mix.
Accustomed to playing characters with nuances of formality and reasonableness, Earth takes a turn in his career with 'Ossan's Love Thailand', a series that, according to him, has taken him out of his comfort zone, by embodying a character without the psychological depth that others that he has interpreted.
However, he overcomes the challenge of balancing the extravagance, clumsiness and naivety of Heng, the character who carries the story line. This contrast with the seriousness, serenity and emotional depth characteristic of other roles allows him to give the character a maturity and sobriety that reflects his experiences. Both styles of characters share a very human spirit, but they express it in very different ways: Heng does it from joy, clumsiness, extravagance, gloating and humor, while those do it from pain, suffering, nostalgia, longing...
Earth manages to connect emotionally with the audience by identifying the two fundamental emotions that the character goes through. Heng moves between simplicity and surprise. While simplicity can manifest itself in many ways: naivety, innocence, candor, purity, spontaneity, simplicity, inexperience, unconsciousness, among others. Aware that each one brings a different nuance to the performance, for each scene, Earth selects a variant that fits the moment. He does the same with surprise, adapting it according to the feeling that each situation requires.
The character of Earth transmits values such as love, companionship, integrity, solidarity, honesty, loyalty, kindness and humility, and he achieves this by adding a good dose of humor. In these turbulent times, laughter is a balm that refreshes the soul and provides a necessary respite.
The comedic dynamic that Earth and Krit create reminds me of the silly, naïve clown in extravagant clothing, and the slightly more serious-faced clown trying to maintain order.

Ossan's Nonsense

First off, who keeps putting Mix in those old men cloths? Like does he owe money to someone working at the Gmmtv costume department, cuz it’s getting ridiculous. Every time Mo was on screen I checked behind him, wondering if someone was going to pop up and take him to a retirement home. They made him look so dull and boring.

MO
Mo was annoying. Yes, he had some trust issues, some self-esteemed ones as well, but really Susan? This dude would make a dumb decision and then be all moody about it the next second scene and disturb the viewers about it. Yes, yes, I liked when him and Heng were together, but still, super effing annoying. Cuz one of this problems literally went like this:

MO: OMG, I don’t want you to tell your mother we are dating. Instead pretend date your best-friend who you were in love with, and who is in love with you now.
HENG: No, I won’t. Let me tell my mother.
MO: Please, date her. Really, this idea is just the best, trust me.
*Two-seconds later*
MO: They look like a family. *sad, crying* Heng let’s break up, because you and your pretend girlfriend looks like you are dating.
ME: 🤨

We all know Heng was portrayed as the not so smart character, but really the dumbest person on this show was Mo. Even in the finale when Heng was like, "I’ll honor the engagement and marry you Boss." Mo said and did nothing, going ‘what’s the point he won’t remember anyway.’ Do you love him or nah? His stupid hero complex, which really was a stupidity complex was annoying as hell. You won’t say anything, but expect different results. Pick an effing struggle Sharon.

Yes, Mo was annoying. Every episode he was like: 'Oh no, look at me, look how sad I am. I sacrificed my love for Heng, so he’d be happy,' Sacrificed what Bob? All you did was kept your mouth shut and looked real sad at the camera. Go sit somewhere. Meh. Between those ugly arse outfits and his dumb decisions I was almost disappointed he ended up with Heng. If he’s gonna be so dramatic every time, then what’s the point? All he’s gonna do is stress poor Heng out. This role wasn't Mix's best, and unfortunately, those outfit didn't do him any good either.

HENG
Naive and dumb, and talked like he was standing beside a washing machine. But, I liked him. Can't say Heng was my favorite character, but he was a close, cuz he was the only one I could tolerated enough to care about so I guess he's number one by default.

Earth’s acting here, I know might not be for everyone cuz we all saw him when he was being typecast as the cool brooding type, but personally I think the character he played in Moonlight Chicken had the personality of a tablespoon and was very annoying. He was always like: 'Brood brooding, I’m gay and I am poor. Cry crying, my ex-boyfriend is cheater. Me me me, I sell chicken.' We get it, your life is sad, you’re not that special Sharon, move it along.

So yeah, this to me was refreshing, I liked it. He made me laughed at times and shook my head with shame the next at his stupidity/naivety. Don’t care about what anyone says, he did well with this role. As for the character himself, his pure naive heart is too good for this world.

BOSS
Creepy. Man couldn’t take no for an answer, and just kept forcing what he wanted on Heng every time. Also am I the only one who threw up a little in their mouth every time he said Hengney? Was that supposed to be cute? EW.

Yes, he was funny at times, made me laugh, but most of the time I found him very very creepy and also annoying. Like, he couldn’t see he was coming out as a desperate, creepy loser? Literally he must have seen he made Heng uncomfortable right? From the creepy stalking pictures, to the forced dating, to the living with him, to the proposal, everything he did was just wrong.

Yeah, I'm glad he didn’t end up with Heng, cuz… no.

PLOT
Well, we got what we got. I haven't seen the original Japanese version and this adaptation in no way made me wanna watch it. As a matter of fact, it made me wanna remove it from my to watch-list. So...

Still, let me just add, having an amnesia plot in the last episode was so effing unnecessary and made me rolled my eyes. Such a waste, if you don't have enough plot to make a full episode, end it at episode 10, it's not by force to do 12 episodes. All that constant flashbacks, waste of time. Whoever wrote this… actually whoever approved this, count your toes!

FINALE
Anywho, my thoughts on the finale.

- P’Ten: “He let you go because he loved you.”
HAHHAHA, make someone’s son come tell me such nonsense, na prison we go both sleep that night. Nothing vexes me past stupid romantic gestures.
- Also his best-friend, that bartender girl, who knew the truth that Heng loved Mo and vice versa, literally shut her mouth so her best friend, who has amnesia would marry his creepy boss who makes him uncomfortable. May this type of friendship never locate me! Though, that could be her revenge for her broken heart, you know the: if I can’t have him, you can’t have him, and he can’t have the one he loves either. Good for her.
- Boss screaming at Heng to go to Mo. Like? Boss went through the whole ceremony, vows and everything, then he finally sees Heng is still hesitant and then stopped it. What, was it his fantasy to be left at the alter? And were we supposed to feel sorry for Boss that he told Heng to go to Mo? Yeah, I don’t do sympathy on Mondays. The audacity, going through a wedding you know the amnesia victim doesn’t want and trying to play some sort of good guy. Miss me with that sh!t.
- I’m sorry but HAHAHSKSKKSKS what the hell was up with that clapping that the quest did for being Boss rejected?
- Also is it just me or did like only two people came to this wedding? At first I was like, oh no, all the money he had wasted, gone to waste, then I saw the venue and went: ah, never mind, wedding on a budget, we move.
- Mo running home and playing the victim again in that grandpa knitted vest. Seriously, was the original Japanese character this indecisive and annoying? Bish do you wanna play the hero or the goddamn victim, pick an effing personality. At this point, Heng should just be alone. Heck, he’d have a better chance married to one of those ugly toys/plushies he liked for an episode and the writers completely forgot about.
- Mo running after that carriage. Not gonna lie, my eye-roll turned into laughter, cuz… I just… yeah.
- The Boss randomly showing up with a carriage to help Mo. Again, stop forcing the redemption arc cuz this dude literally said ‘I’m helping you guys cuz I’ve been your Boss for years and know how much you two have been through’. Then WHY the eff were you adding to their problems every chance you got, Janet? Literally, two seconds ago you were trying to marry Heng, like???
- If this boy don’t stop this ‘Ah Heng, Ah Heng.’
- Me throughout that whole shouting confessing scene: "It’s Monday, please don't add more anger on top of my own." Then the Boss showed up and I lost it laughing. Also, why he keeps popping up? Did he ran there?
- Boss giving Heng and Mo hands to each other, like he’s approving it and giving them his blessing. Why? What right did he have? Nothing vexed me past when he walked away in slow motion with a smile like he did something. Well, at least his outfit looked better than Mo's, so there’s that.
- This magic of True Love’s Kiss out there working overtime, cuz it works even when all the lovers do is touch their eating holes to each others. To the singles out there, next time you need true love’s kiss, just use a pillow, would probably work just as fine.
- Heng: “Thank you for waiting for me Mo.” ME: “Dafug is you talking about? That dude did not wait for you, he immediately left your amnesia arse to marry your creepy boss and went home to cry to his mama.”
- During that whole dancing, singing rapping scene, I was like, ‘It’s gonna be real unfortunate if Mo get’s proposed to in that purple and ugly brown vest.’
- All that for Heng to leave for Japan...good on him, Get away from Heng and his drama for a bit.

Listen, when all is said and done, this show was at least watchable so there's that. There were some good laughs and a whole lot of nothing filler episodes, but it had its moment. Personally, this wasn't EarthMix's best work, but we did get to see a different side of Earth which I enjoyed.

Overall, I know not all the shows would be my fav, and I kept watching this cuz I like EarthMix, so this one is on me, but damn this tested my patient. I'm super looking forward to seeing them in Only Friends: Dream On. Please be good. Anywho, if you love them too, watch this one too, it’s worth at least a one time viewing.

Fun and wholesome adaptation, carried by 'Hengney'

For me, as a big Ossan's Love (Returns) fan, this is an unexpectedly good adaptation of the Japanese BL in many ways. I think this is a hard show to adapt because unlike shows like Cherry Magic, the humor is just so Japanese (which I think is part of the reason it never got that popular outside of Japan compared to other JBLs). But I'm glad that I gave it a chance. It's funny, it has heart, and...

The characters and performances are great. Earth is wonderful as Heng - funny, annoying, charming, with a surprising amount of depth; truly a loser trapped in a hot man’s body brought to life. Shahkrit as the Boss is a total fox and so naturally funny, sincere and obnoxious as heck. Kapook, Meow, etc. are adorable and sympathetic. Truly everyone, from the supporting characters up are endearing and fun. So despite my issues with the ending (Mo and Boss-induced irritation), it was a fun watch. Commit to the show’s zaniness and enjoy the charm & sweetness!

Over the top but still shallow...

I'm not a fan of the japanese original, because over-the-top comedy is always just cringy for me.
But while the japanese version was a bit over-the-top it also had some real emotions in it.

In this, I feel it's just polished but steril. There is never a point where there are real emotional connections.
They tried very hard to make it a good show, but they failed in the emotional departmant. All three characters were annoying as hell, one just stupid, the other a tsundere and the Boss is just creepy and overbearing.

So as always, I'm not a fan of thai remakes, because while polished in production the lack in the story and the characters. They also "dumbed down" this series. Did they do so to make it more appealing for the masses? I don't know.

Overall it's a medicore show with no real heights, with a stupid plot twist in the end and the finale was more of the category "WTF is happening"... at least the OST is nice in a funny way, going full India style 🤣. So if you have nothing other to do, there is some entertainment in this, but you won't miss out if you skip it.

Best Earth/Mix Acting, Mid Earth/Mix Show

I remember when Ossan's Love was announced, and I remember thinking "damn, am I gonna like this?" I'm here to say that I actually decently liked this. I think there were a lot of tough points to get through, I think you have to look at this through a completely different lens then what we're use to with these two, but nonetheless, they had another successful series and I can't wait to see them in the next one.

Let's Dive In.

This is coming from the perspective of someone who has not seen the original Ossan's Love (and probably won't), so I won't comment on what was changed or what difference the series' had, as I believe they were both most likely good in their own way. So, starting off, Heng is this young dude whose pretty bad at his job, but accidentally finds out his boss is in love with him. Through a couple of crazy mishaps and lucky guesses, Heng's co-worker Mo, moves in with him and then falls for him too. In the battle of "who gets Hengney?" Mo inevitably wins.

This series is incredibly silly and makes fun of itself numerous times throughout. You really have to throw away what you're use to from Earth and Mix. Usually we get dark, and brooding, and lust, and tragedy, but in this, it is the complete opposite. It was hard to make that transition within the first two episode, but once you get use to the acting (especially Earth's acting) you realize that this is some of Earth and Mix's best performances yet. Acting is hard, being funny and sad is hard, and they master that so well, especially Earth. It just goes to show how versatile these vet actors are, and they nailed this out the park. None of it was cringey, none of it seemed too much or too little, it was just perfect.

Which is why I feel bad also saying that the plot falls short in so many ways. In terms of their best series...TOTS all the way, and honestly, probably forever. But this series plays too many cat and mouse games, and honestly, it gets pretty old. Mo was very indecisive, and because of that, caused a lot of hurt for him and Heng. And some of his reasoning for why he does what he does is just really bad writing. It was like the writers couldn't come up with an authentic reason for Mo to leave or break up with Heng so they made Mo out to act out like a child would in these scenarios. But, nonetheless, Earth and Mix brought the chemistry, and I loved that Mix got to play the initiator in their relationship, the "top" if you will.

Krit, besides being the hottest man over 40, did an amazing job in his role. It was a little hard to feel sympathetic towards a man that basically coerced and used his power as a boss to enter into a relationship with one of his employees, but at times, I did feel for him. I have no idea why they didn't have him and Ten get together, but they would've made an incredible endgame.

I loved all the cameos we got, First and Khaotung, Drake, Fluke, just to name a few. Even one of the original actors from the Ossan's Love made a cameo, which was pretty cool.

Overall, I think this series did best with what it could do, with quite a lot of bumps and hurdle, but for what we got, I'm not upset.

Ratings:

Story: 7.5/10 - worked well in the beginning, not so much towards the end.

Acting: 9.5/10 - Like I said, some of Earth and Mix's best acting performances. I also really loved Meow's character and Cheraim. Krit as a vet actor also did really well.

Music: 8/10 - Okay, so I actually loved the theme song. It was so out-of-the-box to what I'm use to hearing, but I actually really enjoyed it.

Recommendation Value: 7/10 - I don't think I would recommend this series outside of an EarthMix lover. It's not something I think would garner a need to watch, but if you like comedy, and more so a few scenes with a shirtless Earth, then here you go!

Fun but uneven chaos

1. The plot: Overall fine and met expectation with the original. However, comedy or not the amnesia thing was dumb, I’m sorry. Still the show had some strong character arcs in Heng and Chicha
2. The Acting: Earth as Heng was incredible; he made Heng so charming and adorable, kind and sweet, but also layered, especially in the second half of the show. Heng’s arch over the 12 episodes was wonderfully done and Earth played every character beat well. Also, it’s kind of wild how easy it is for Earth to generate believable chemistry with literally everyone. P’Shahkrit was also a clear standout; he was so funny but added so much depth to Kongdech, especially in his interactions with his daughter.
3. The Characters: I loved these characters like they were real people. I love deceptively tough Chicha who used to beat up her bestie Heng’s bullies, I love gossip queen Meow, I love ready to quit at any moment Newyear, I loved dramatic unhinged Cher-Aim… I just loved this quirky band of weirdos and the one brain cell they were normally sharing.
On the flipside, Mo… was a problem for me in the latter part of the show. Overall, I liked HengMo’s love story, but I didn’t enjoy Mo. I understand Mo’s insecurities, but I found him exhausting and weirdly immature for all that the narrative told us otherwise. Heng really deserved better than what Mo kept doing to him. Boss’ insistence toward Heng also became more grating than funny toward the end of the show
4. The relationships: I like the relationships between the character, Kongdech and his daughter, Chicha and her brother, Chicha and Heng, etc. Their interactions were so grounded despite the chaos they were generally creating. I finished the JP OL not really ‘liking’ any of the characters (except queen Choko); in the Thai version I like nearly all of them and find them all sympathetic
5. The humor: This show gave me some solid laughs every episode. Additionally, while the humor remains appropriately silly, it’s also smart and the references (Phupha Salotorn!), from imagery to music, are so fun to catch.
6. Production: In general, the production value was surprisingly high for a non-spicy GMMTV BL. The coloring was vibrant, the OSTs were great, they didn’t overuse sound effects, and the ambient sounds generally made sense. Still some opportunity for improvement here - sometimes the music was too loud / too quiet over certain scenes, or the mics weren’t properly calibrated, so you catch too much background noise and there were some odd editing moments, but nothing too egregious.

Lol, lol, lol... OK, hear me out.

While this was ridiculous and stupidly, it was also super entertaining. I was laughing so hard.
But you'd think this was just a funny and fatuously series... yes! Тhis is it’s so deeply unserious that it feels like a dream your subconscious mashed together in the midst of a Sunday nap.

I won't go into too much detail about the plot and characters from the series, but here are my quick thoughts:

The plot
A chaotic love triangle with elements of real estate.

The characters
Heng was amazing. Like, he made me laugh so hard. He even made me tear up towards the end. He was so hilarious, nice and messy. He made me relate to him in many different moments (which is strange, if you know the plot). But I loved him so much for just being himself throughout. I loved Мо. He was cute, affectionate and at the end of the series, I felt like punching him. All I need is just one punch. Just one. I also loved Kongdech. He was the "I love you despite everything" vibes guy, and I was 100% here for it.

And ultimately, this is a fun, fast-paced, silly, and heartbreaking rollercoaster of goofiness. Did I like it? Yes. This is a very quirky and charming (somehow) romantasy ... but also and has some undertones in it as well.

PS
I like the soundtrack. Apologies to anyone that heard me singing.

PS1
I loved all the Easter eggs that appeared in the episodes.

This show genuinely gave me such... JOY.

It did a great job balancing the unhinged humor, with real moments of emotional connection. I genuinely laughed so much watching this show and certain lines really stuck with me, both humorous (“Why are you buried vertically like this??”) and meaningful ("Being your boyfriend is not something I would be embarrassed about.")

And I've said this before, but this show would not work at all if literally anyone but Earth Pirapat played Heng. Earth is incredible in this role, and I left it understanding why all of these people love confused, sweet himbo Heng, because Earth made me love him too, faults and all. Earth was giving range - humor, heartbreak and everything in between, he did it all so well. Earth deserves the praise he’s received for his performance and more.

All the actors are firing on all cylinders. P’Shahkrit is clearly having so much fun with this role and is so funny and did such a great job swinging between the unhinged comedy and the more grounded, human moments. And Kapook, Dada, etc. had great moments as well.

Overall, I enjoyed this show and the viewing experience. I knew exactly what I would be getting into, having been a fan of the source material, and I've been pleased with where it’s improved on the source and never walked into any viewing expecting it to be anything but what it is: chaotic fun

I wasn't expecting much, because I used to hate the japanese version (sorry If you like it but it wasn't made for me). But it was okay.

It was a little silly and funny. But it was so longgg for nothing. I'm sorry.

Thanks to EarthMix, I didn't lost my motivation to watch it but sometime I was a little bored.
PS: I hate how they treat the boss harassment as funny..
