I am done ?
I am done with this drama. How good the start and the main theme was. But they just ruined with love triangle. I wanted to drop this after ep 5 but can not because of ML and the child. They are the only positive thing in the whole drama. The FL and SML are the biggest annoying, red flag and shit that i can not keep watching this. I will miss the ML and the child bonding and chemistry. Was this review helpful to you?
There is another problem as well. Why is the male lead shown focusing more on raising the child, while the female lead sometimes comes home late at night and spends time with the second lead? I feel the story is becoming unbalanced and not giving enough importance to the main male character.it is getting frustrating with every episode still they are focusing on love triangle and only 3 episode remains 🤬. ep10 is little bit satisfying thank god.

WASTE OF TIME
If you’re expecting a cute baby and a meaningful exploration of two adults navigating parenting and domestic life, this drama may disappoint you. While the first two episodes showed strong potential, the story gradually shifted into a love triangle that feels unnecessary. The second male lead doesn’t seem to add much depth to the plot. With only a few episodes left, there has been little development in the main couple’s relationship, which makes their potential endgame feel unconvincing. It’s frustrating because the original premise had so much promise. Waste of time. Was this review helpful to you?

Wasn’t This Supposed to Be a Co-Parenting Drama?
My rant about this drama (Spoilers ahead — read at your own risk).Honestly, I liked this drama from episodes 1 to 5, but after that it went downhill for me. I started feeling like the drama wasn’t really about co-parenting or about U Ju and how his uncle Tae Hyeong and aunt Hyeon Jin raise him after their older brother and sister pass away. Instead, it felt more like a story about the second male lead, Yun Seong, trying to win back his first love, Hyeon Jin.
The love triangle started around episode 5. At first it wasn’t that bad — I could tolerate that much — but it kept dragging on until episode 10. Half of the episodes felt like they were centered around Yun Seong. At times it even felt like he was the male lead. I’ve never disliked a second male lead this much — not even the red-flag ones. I actually started hating seeing his face on screen, and now I don’t think I’ll be able to watch any drama where he’s the SML or even the ML.
His constant meddling and forcing his presence into their family matters made me even more annoyed. Now I understand why I stopped watching Korean romcoms. The writer really did a great job of making me want to avoid this genre in the future.
Also, the guardianship storyline in the last episode should have happened in the middle of the drama — maybe around episodes 7 or 8 — but instead they decided to put it in the final episode.”
Favorite Scene
In the last episode when everyone was preparing for U Ju’s 2nd birthday party. I loved how everyone came together to celebrate his birthday. I also liked the flashbacks of Tae Hyeong and Hyeon Jin’s older brother and sister. And the quote at the end was really touching.

Annoying FL ruined the Drama
The writers really ruined this series. I don't know what they wanted to portray or what kind of story flow they were going for. The plot just revolves around the second lead having a romantic storyline with the female lead. They should’ve focused more on woojoo – he’s the main character after all. That’s why the title is 'our universe'. The storyline should have been how both the young uncle and aunt manage this sudden parenthood, all the struggle, how both balance their work and home. The only one who is balancing both is the uncle, taking Woo-Joo to his workplace, faced issues because of that, sometimes sacrificing his opportunity for WooJoo, he even has character development, and developed chemistry with Woo Joo. Meanwhile the aunt is just having her own office romance drama( which has no connection with Woojoo)🤦♀️Really not loving this. Everyone is watching this drama for the baby not for the annoying FL.

Cute Baby, Okay Plot, Subpar Performance
this was propaganda made to help combat the child birth rates 100%. cute kid but… no. lolanyway! WooJoo is quite literally the cutest baby I’ve seen on television in awhile!
the hate for the fl is incredibly forced. I think the acting matched the script as it was very subpar.
the ml and sml were both great. never thought she’d choose the sml though.
this is a palette cleanser in between drama binges but I wouldn’t go in expecting anything earth shattering. just enjoy it for what it is!!!!

Even adorable baby could not save this drama
This drama is an example of love triangle done wrong. The story was engaging in its first episodes, featuring two in-laws hating each other in a forced cohabitation to take care of their nephew. However, instead of focusting on this storyline, the script devolved into an insufferable love triangle that made the second male lead the central figure of the romance...When the heroine is going into more dates over the course of the series with someone who is NOT the hero, you know that it is a disaster for any kind of proper romantic build up.The cast was a mixed bag. The adorable kid (Park Yu Ho) playing the role of baby U Ju was an incredible casting choice. Bae In Hyuk, as the male lead, was quite good but Roh Jeong Eui was insufferable as the female lead. None of her scenes touched me, and I got more and more annoyed with the character with every episode passing. Not all the blame can be put on the actress though, as the script was really not doing any favor to her character. Park Seo Ham, as the second male lead, felt also pretty mid but once again, it might be more due to the writing (forcefully pushing this secondary role instead of the male lead) that made him unlikeable.
In addition to the big disappointment that was the overall story, the production value felt in overall pretty low, even if the camera did a good job capturing baby U Ju cute moments.
I would not recommend this to people as it very much did not succeed in terms of rom-com nor family drama. The heroine growth was non existent and the overwhelming presence of the second male lead did not leave enough room for the male lead to shine much. The baby the leads had to care for became less and less central part of the plot, leaving the viewer with nothing much too look forward. Overall what's started as a cliche / full of well know tropes but quite nostalgic watch remindering of older Kdrama, devolved into a frustrating watch.

Our universe...
This drama is really bad... full disappointment why it was written like that, cos wdym she'll take custody for her nephew but proceeds to find love instead? It was awful to the point that I skipped the parts which Uju aren't in it. I love the actors tho, they really did a good job portraying their roles but choosing their scripts isn't their forte... I think 🥲
Music? I can't remember, the storyline is so awful to the point that all I can remember is Uju's cuteness all throughout.
I will definitely not rewatch but watch tt edits of Uju to make my day 💗
Lastly, I'm literally speechless for this drama... and the reviews, too. People are blaming the actors but please blame the writers or whoever produced this drama. We're annoyed in the FL and that's surely because she can act (hence, the annoyance) but the terrible scripts and why the drama spiralled like that? Blame the one's behind the film and the management of the actors who can't choose the best for their actors.

Baby Soo Cutie - Broken Promises
The real star of the entire series is the baby. Adorable. After the death of his parents, this child is cared for by his maternal aunt and paternal uncle.
She (the protagonist of "The Witch"), He (the protagonist of "Check in Hanyang/Park's Contract Marriage Story"), just to name the actors.
This aunt's character started getting on my nerves starting in episode 4, when she makes so many promises and doesn't keep a single one. In fact, when the new director, her first love, arrives, she never says no, passes the responsibility on to her roommate, is unavailable, and then apologizes! A FOOL!
After episode 7, I put it aside for a while and struggled to pick it up again.
The ending wasn't bad, but it wasn't a series that thrilled me.
I'd blame the female lead for having this beaten-dog look even when she smiles, which should convey happiness.
Luckily, the child's charm made up for it, as did his acting and his connection with the cast. (Chegueo) The best.
