What would you describe the vibe of the drama as?Arclei:
Oh my goodness, I could endlessly sing the praises of this drama. The atmosphere is absolutely mesmerizing. Filmed in the 'exotic' locale Havana Cuba, and later in Korea, the opening scenes of the drama fully engage you with their gorgeous cinematography, a rich appreciation for culture, and the vibrant music that resonates with the local populace. The setting creates a feeling that is both tranquil and romantic, yet laced with a hint of sorrow.
( Park Bo Gum, is always a mood! )
This chance encounter, pays homage to love's unpredictability and the beauty of genuine connections and new beginnings. Both protagonist are discreet, respecting each other's situations, and are incredibly perceptive, showing their affection through acts of security, patience yet assertive when need be and empathic towards their partner. In essence, they embody well-rounded individuals. Their love is a romantic verse, exquisite and profoundly mature—a flame that burns slowly and steadily . It charms with its deep intensity and the alluring beauty it possesses.
Despite societal norms implying their relationship is improper due to their contrasting social classes, they engage in open communication about their struggles and unite to surmount any hurdles, which is incredibly charming. There is a touch of drama concerning the female protagonist's family, yet it never eclipses their bond in a manner that feels burdensome or tiring for the audience. Rather, it resembles a soothing cup of hot chocolate on a frosty winter day. As I previously stated, I could discuss this endlessly. This drama is akin to a warm embrace, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
I wanted to include some of the songs on my list, but I was afraid it was getting too long.potatocouch:
Oh, there’s no cap on this list. Feel free to go wild and recommend as many OSTs as you like, provided they’re from RR titles! The more OSTs we gather, the greater chance for old/new members to discover a drama through the sounds they’re enjoying. Don’t hold back. It’s perfectly fine to suggest more. <3
I'm sorry, how can I possibly be normal about a face like this? He looks like a beautiful prince in peril and I'm thriving!Arclei:
I gasped at the pics because...SHEESH! A beautiful prince in peril is the perfect description. He looks delicious! It's the big, watery eyes and the full lips. An unbeatable combo.
(and like, where's the forcing him to bed shit? Like hello? but whatever, maybe later).Arclei:
You know these dramas suddenly become puritanical when it comes down to the FL's sexual appetites. Even RRs, sadly.
It's sad that she's not actually evil, and just pretending to be to fool the court :(
I have something that'll offset your disappointment:

https://kisskh.at/799362-forever-love
I don't know what the reviews are talking about because this is soooo good! FL is a perfect red flag CEO, and she's chasing the ML the way red flag men do in other dramas. The chemistry between the leads is sizzling, and she doesn't suddenly become puritanical when the plot calls for more. Truth be told, she reminds me of the FL in Begin Again, but cooler and more suave. I'm not quite finished, but I highly doubt this couple is going to end up being traditional. This is a total gem! And only the second drama I've seen where a woman gives a man a piggy back ride LOL. I need to talk about it with someone. Watch just the first sixty seconds and let me know what you think.
Well, I finished The Princess Decree. I didn't end up disliking it as much as I thought I would after that bait and switch... But was it RR? Ehhhh- somewhat.
To those who want the spoilers... Surprise, surprise... she isn't actually evil. She's actually too good and was pretending all along to help her brother secure his position as the emperor (the child emperor was very cute. A shame he doesn't show up more). I... feel conflicted about this. I feel like she should've held at least SOME resentment. Like? Even if she understood that there was more to the politics at the time, she still suffered tremendously, and then came back and helps these people out? Idk chief, I feel like she should be at least a little angry and very broken. And ML continues to misunderstand her until the last few episodes, lmao. The drama wants me to think of him as smart, cunning, and wise, but he's just naïve and idealistic- Like how he was still clinging to his cringe ass mentor's honor and creating misunderstandings between him and FL for literally no reason??? Man, go marry your dead mentor then, ffs why are you here?
I usually love idealistic incorruptible goodboys, but this ML seemed just a bit too... idk... too in love with everyone else for me to root for their romance ig? He does cry like LITERALLY every episode so I love the emotional ML x stable and chill FL thing they got going on. He's also a very pretty crier so :P
Anyway. Even though FL is obviously not evil, they still have a badgirl x goodboy thing going on so that's nice. Obviously, the role reversal and femdom wasted away until only egalitarian embers were left, but I was expecting that much... It could've been worse... but I was hoping for better. Like you're deadass telling me this woman that was abused like hell for 5 years came back and didn't learn basic self-defence? Idk, I feel like she was purposely weakened to make the antagonist more powerful and to make ML more relevant ToT The role reversal itself was mostly based on abuse, so I understand why that didn't continue once the "HAHA-gottem" plot twist was revealed. Had it been more true femdom (smexual), I would've probably been more pissed off with the twist... cuz on one hand, any femgaze femdom is good for me, but also then it would immediately portray femdom as an evil extreme stemming only from trauma, which I would loathe, so I'm kinda glad they didn't do that... Even if we were deprived of a good femdom x malesub scene with this ML- like oh my god, can you imagine?
What I WASN'T expecting was for both of them to live and happily at that. Like, I was expecting them to kill FL off for having been domineering and shit (like they do in p much every drama ever), but no, they both get a lovely happily-ever-after <3
I will say tho, the first couple of episodes feel SO out of place with the rest of the drama. Like, the noncon kidnapping and abuse is just not addressed. They mention it in passing like "omg, you humiliated me and tortured me to figure out who in court was decent <33" but like GIRL, there are other ways?!?! Idk what was the intention with those eps...?? Was it just to bait me in that trailer? Like, I'm glad they exist because they're defs my fav but also- wtf??? XD
I thought I was gonna be GIFing this drama for weeks to come, but I'm almost done tbh xD
Both protagonist are discreet, respecting each other's situations, and are incredibly perceptive, showing their affection through acts of security, patience yet assertive when need be and empathic towards their partner.Simi_Tutu:
Sounds like an unusually healthy and mature romance! That's my fav kind!
Despite societal norms implying their relationship is improper due to their contrasting social classes, they engage in open communication about their struggles and unite to surmount any hurdlesSimi_Tutu:
Yaaayyyy society angst!! Love it!
Thanks for the info! It does sound like something I would like, so I'll definitely put it on my 2026 PTW. Fingers crossed I get to it soon, haha
It's the big, watery eyes and the full lips. An unbeatable combo.potatocouch:
You're SO right! FL is stronger than me, cuz wdym they're not making out literally all the time TOT I would not survive
You know these dramas suddenly become puritanical when it comes down to the FL's sexual appetites. Even RRs, sadly.potatocouch:
Always, bruv... She's never that bad, or she was always faking it, or she settled down, or... the worst one, she gets killed for her transgressions ToT
It's sad that she's not actually evil, and just pretending to be to fool the court :(potatocouch:
Right?! Aaugh, finally someone who also appreciates the red/black-flag FLs, cuz I feel so alone T_T Like why do literally everyone get some nice smexy red flag romance except for us?! We either get romcom levels of fluff or those irritating, just flat-out abusive with no smexiness FLs *sigh* I ALSO WANT CRINGE RED FLAG ROMANCE!! GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEE
I have something that'll offset your disappointment:potatocouch:

Bestie, those PICS?! oh my GOD!!!! immediate add to PTW!!
I don't know what the reviews are talking about because this is soooo good!potatocouch:
Passive ML: *exists*
Everyone: why is he so bland and boring and unsexy
Like chiiiillll, let a man be pursued for a change xD Ig people come to expect VERY traditional slop from verticals, because MOST of them are, so when they deviate and do so with more than just dommy mommy femdom, people are a bit lost. *shrug*
I usually know based on negative comments on RR-coded media whether or not it's actually good RR, because the haters go ham on their complaints of the one-in-a-million drama that does something differently XD Like, literally go *anywhere* else and you'll find what you like, why are you here?
FL is a perfect red flag CEO, and she's chasing the ML the way red flag men do in other dramas.potatocouch:
That sounds DELICIOUS!!!!
she reminds me of the FL in Begin Again, but cooler and more suave.potatocouch:
Ayoooo? That sounds hella promising!! Because I love the FL from BA, but as always, I kept hoping she would do more and not back down!!
And only the second drama I've seen where a woman gives a man a piggy back ride LOLpotatocouch:

I need to talk about it with someone. Watch just the first sixty seconds and let me know what you think.potatocouch:
Ok, I'll watch this one next XD
Besite... you CANNOT do this to me T_T That minute was HOT ASF OHMYGOD
I have so much to say already...
I mean, "I'm willing to get hurt for you" IM SORRRYYYYYY?!?!?! And the way she SAID it, brooooo- while he's tending to her wounds, too... I'm such a sucker for a caretaker man <33 And then him untying the tie to get away from her when she pulls him close?? Omggggggggg- the playfulness, the spunk, and then she pulls him down anyway and MARKS HIM!?!?!? SHE MARKS HIM OHMYGOD- WHAT?!?!?!
Fingers crossed I get to it soon, hahaArclei:

Squealing and excitement, if you decide to start watching it, I'm completely up for a buddy watch. I assure you, I won't give away any spoilers. We'll take it one episode at a time. This is one of those series that I will forever revisit due to my deep affection for it.
So I'm currently watching The Other Half of Me and You, and honestly, am I supposed to feel like I've stumbled into the twilight zone? This drama is so bizarre, yet the vibe, the fashion, and the over-the-top communication styles are like a visual feast! I'm totally torn. And don't even get me started on the male lead—he's just the epitome of everything I find revolting, probably because he screams toxic masculinity. I had to hit pause just to vent my feelings because while I'm enthralled , I'm also questioning my life choices, lol! And just to clarify, I'm not saying the drama is bad; I'm just saying I've never seen anything quite like it before.
She's actually too good and was pretending all along to help her brother secure his position as the emperorArclei:
Wait, so she doesn't get to become empress? Boooo. It doesn't even sound like she retains any real power.
she still suffered tremendously, and then came back and helps these people out?Arclei:
Okay, I was still thinking about watching it until I got to this line. I absolutely cannot stand martyr characters—especially since the majority of them tend to be women. It's even worse when they're not angry about it. If I wanted to watch Mother Theresa, I'd turn on a documentary about her. I certainly don't want to see her in my RRs because women sacrificing, especially for the men in their lives, is a very traditional thing.
What a bummer. The pics you posted, and the trailer were so intense and intriguing.
Like you're deadass telling me this woman that was abused like hell for 5 years came back and didn't learn basic self-defence?Arclei:
Not to, like, compare or anything, but the FL in Forever Love is a boxer who delivers fists like UberEats 😌
Even if we were deprived of a good femdom x malesub scene with this ML- like oh my god, can you imagine?Arclei:
Ugh, stop making me waiver lol. Maybe I should fast-forward through the drama for the juicy scenes.
Was it just to bait me in that trailer?Arclei:
Yup hahaha. Would've gotten me too if you hadn't watched it first and broke it down.
How were the kisses? Were they plentiful? Passionate?
I would not surviveArclei:
He wouldn't either... >:3
Right?! Aaugh, finally someone who also appreciates the red/black-flag FLs, cuz I feel so aloneArclei:
I tend not to like red/black flag FLs in realistic dramas. Example: Sniper Butterfly. If the FL were anything but green (with flaws) I would've cried because of the ML's circumstances. He grew up in a tiny village, and his parents and grandpa die so he has to live with his abusive uncle who sends him to work in the mines like a Victorian child. He's extremely smart and wants to go to college, but his uncle won't let him and steals the scholarship money the FL (who is ten years older) gifted him on a trip to the village a year or two earlier. The ML borrows a stranger's cell to call her for help and she drives all the way to the village and rescues him. Her kindness completely changes his life, and creates this beautiful bond that turns into one of the most satisfying love stories I've ever seen. If the FL had been a red flag to the ML after what he'd already been through, it would've broken my heart. But in certain historical/fantasy settings, melodramas and vertical dramas, I want a red/black flag FL so bad!! We should definitely get to enjoy them too.
That's why I'm dying for you to check out Forever Love. The FL is a red flag FOR REAL. Home girl only cares about the ML (but she's not above sabotaging his life to get him 😭), one friend (important to keep in mind), and her gramps. Screw everyone else.
Bestie, those PICS?! oh my GOD!!!! immediate add to PTW!!Arclei:
Right???? The drama has me FERALLLLL! Part of the reason I'm taking so long to finish it is because I keep rewinding...>.>
let a man be pursued for a change xDArclei:
I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying her chasing him because I adore the he falls first and harder trope, even in my RRs, but this is a pleasant, exciting change. I think the people commenting expected her to chase him for fifteen minutes and then he gives in, but the drama is over two hours long. He has to put up a valiant fight and "resist" her aggressive, feminine wiles. Besides in the traditional counterparts, the domineering CEOs usually chase the FLs for 80% of the drama before they get together. Why would Forever Love be any different? Yeah, sometimes it hurt seeing the FL get rejected because I love her, but I'd just yell, "Pick yourself up, girl and find a new way to catch him!" at my phone. And man, does she ever.
I usually know based on negative comments on RR-coded media whether or not it's actually good RR, because the haters go ham on their complaints of the one-in-a-million drama that does something differently XD Like, literally go *anywhere* else and you'll find what you like, why are you here?Arclei:
So true XD
That sounds DELICIOUS!!!!Arclei:
Things she has done to him that made me squeal:
- Yanked him into a sitting position by THE BACK OF HIS BELT (this got me so bad!!!)
- Sank her teeth into his shoulder like a Cullen
- Tied him up
- Bent him over (several times)
- Forced kisses
- Forced pool playing
- Kabedons
- That glorious piggy back ride
And more...
I'm almost done (and it's still good) but I kind of don't want to finish because I'm enjoying myself so much.
I kept hoping she would do more and not back down!!Arclei:
Well, this FL definitely doesn't back down...
Added >:)Arclei:
I've seen dramas where the FL carries the ML, but I have a soft spot for reverse piggy back rides. Can't wait to peruse this list for more.
Besite... you CANNOT do this to me T_T That minute was HOT ASF OHMYGODArclei:
I have so much to say already...
I mean, "I'm willing to get hurt for you" IM SORRRYYYYYY?!?!?! And the way she SAID it, brooooo- while he's tending to her wounds, too... I'm such a sucker for a caretaker man <33 And then him untying the tie to get away from her when she pulls him close?? Omggggggggg- the playfulness, the spunk, and then she pulls him down anyway and MARKS HIM!?!?!? SHE MARKS HIM OHMYGOD- WHAT?!?!?!
AHHHHH!!!! WERE YOU NOT SCREAMING????? CAUSE I WAS SCREAMING! I WAS LIKE HOW ARE WE STARTING OFF LIKE THIS?
I'm really surprised by how solid the writing is, especially the banter. That's a big part of the reason I love the drama. The FL has some fantastic lines, and she delivers them with this smirk and sparkle in her eye. She's so playful, and cool! Even the tie grab and her saying "Kiss me" right off the bat was brilliant. And then yes, him untying the tie to get away was so cute! AND THE BELT GRAB???? Don't get me started on the way she grabbed his belt and made him sit down. Such a simple action, but I was living for it. ML is a slippery little sucker. But every time he wiggles free, she just catches him again. I love their dynamic so much. Girl, you have no idea what's in store. Let me know when you finish. I have other scenes I'd like to discuss.
Sorry this was so long!
This drama is so bizarre, yet the vibe, the fashion, and the over-the-top communication styles are like a visual feast! I'm totally torn. And don't even get me started on the male lead—he's just the epitome of everything I find revolting, probably because he screams toxic masculinity.Simi_Tutu:
Arclei recommended it to me. I like how over-the-top everything is. It's intentionally cartoonish, but yeah the ML is gross at first. Don't worry, though. He's in for a big lesson ;)
I haven't finished it, but I like what I've seen so far.
Squealing and excitement, if you decide to start watching it, I'm completely up for a buddy watch.Simi_Tutu:
Aaaaaaah, not sure if I'd be able to buddy-watch it. Mostly 'cause I tend to watch romance dramas very slowly and put them on-hold for long, so I don't think I'd be able to commit to frequent updates 😅 But I'll still post about it as I watch, so we can still discuss!
So I'm currently watching The Other Half of Me and YouSimi_Tutu:
AHAHAHAHAHAHHAH- Sorry, not sorry. Without fault, every person whom I recommended this drama to had a similar reaction xD I thought it was one of those no-brainer 'this is peak' kinda dramas because that's how it was for me, so seeing others react so honestly is amazing.
It's definitely one of those off-beat, what-the-fuck am I watching kinda shows and I love that for it (I mean, I rewatched it multiple times so I think that's defs saying something). I think ML was probably the middest part of the drama, similar situation to Oh My General xD He does get better, but damn, what I wouldn't give for him to have been from that world from the get-go. But that's just kinda how these stories go. It's why I appreciate but still find issue with matriarchy stories presented more for a political point than for a genuine story. That it's like this, lol
But ngl, even outside of the RR, it's a really good drama. Like it's so unique. Ready, Set, Love tried but could not be this peak.
I'll still post about it as I watch, so we can still discuss!Arclei:
Absolutely! I'm excited to know your thoughts. When it comes to romance dramas, I'm your total opposite; I usually binge-watch them 90% of the time. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a romance junkie, haha.
It's why I appreciate but still find issue with matriarchy stories presented more for a political point than for a genuine story.Arclei:
That what makes the overall narrative interesting. The best comparison I can think of is a child visiting an ice cream parlor, overwhelmed by the array of candies, toppings, and flavors. The visual feast is so enticing that they go all out, creating a sundae that might look unappealing to anyone else, who would likely think, 'Just stop.' Yet, amidst all those vibrant colors and diverse flavors, there’s bound to be at least one scoop that resonates with them, leading them to enjoy the sundae as a whole. This analogy reflects my belief that there’s something in this show that I will appreciate, beyond just the visual appeal and the female lead's journey of humbling our male lead.
Sorry this was so long!potatocouch:
Love the walls of text, keep em coming! ^^
Wait, so she doesn't get to become empress? Boooo. It doesn't even sound like she retains any real power.potatocouch:
She doesn't. She's tired of all the suffering she endured and wants a chill, quiet life with her boo. Her brother begs her to stay and mentor him, and at the end, it's implied she doesn't, but it's also possible that it was just a temporary outing.
I absolutely cannot stand martyr characters—potatocouch:
That's valid asf. I was also disappointed with her lack of anger. I think she should've been at least a little bit angrier, vengeful, spiteful. I also think they could've still made her righteous, but actually made her cunning and resentful even if she ultimately does the right thing, like they did in say, The Princess Royal. This FL just suffered too much to then be so chill about it. Like, it kinda feels like her suffering was just there for romantic angst ToT
Ugh, stop making me waiver lol. Maybe I should fast-forward through the drama for the juicy scenes.potatocouch:
Overall, I think the drama was still better than others. Like, I'm usually quite unforgiving to bait-and-switch dramas, especially ones that baited me with RR, but this one was quite alright.
However, if you feel that strongly about her character, I'd probably recommend skipping. The good part? You can just watch the first couple of episodes for like 99% of the RR and none of the martyrdom ;)
So...
- eps 1-4 | PEAK SHIT. All the good stuff happens in these episodes!!! OHMYGODDDDDD
- eps 5-6 | Has soooooome moments, it's starting to fade, but there's still interesting RR angst.
- ep 9 | 1 angsty scene in the beginning.
- ep 10 | she saves him briefly
- ep 14 | scene where she pins him to a tree briefly
skip the rest :P
Yup hahaha. Would've gotten me too if you hadn't watched it first and broke it down.potatocouch:
Seriouslyyyy, they just used scenes from eps 1-4 for the trailer and omitted the rest of the drama T_T It feels so disconnected
How were the kisses? Were they plentiful? Passionate?potatocouch:
GIRL DONT GET ME STARTEEEEDDDDDD
There were two kisses. One was a quick dead-fish kiss, and the second was a far-away, mostly off-screen kiss. THAT WAS IT, LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! When this man has lips like THAT?! Diabolical.
Not to blame anyone because I literally have no clue, but from the vibes I got... it kinda felt like the FL actress was a bit uncomfortable? Like ML's actor lowkey going all out, putting himself in the most absurd situations half naked, abused, crying, sobbing, stripped again, abused some more, crying even more, and lowkey... she was giving me nothing. Her performance, too was just kinda meh imo. It didn't feel like she should've been the FL in a drama like this, is what I mean.
Defs don't watch for the kisses. Also, as I said earlier, their dynamic is role rev but I'd struggle to call it femdom since there was literally nothing smexual about it in the slightest. She implies she wanted to, but nothing happened (not even implied!!!!). She doesn't even forcefully kiss him ONCE!!! LIKE COME ON!!!
Not that it showed more of this... but if you want similar angst that remains mostly throughout, and that actually lowkey lives in my mind rent-free, you could try... A Dream like the True Love ? *insert pepe shy emoji* the leads' dynamic is mostly egalitarian with role reversal undertones due to outside circumstances, but... ML is forced to become a concubine of the princess royal, and the angst from that is just 10/10. If you want more info, let me know :P I will literally never shut up about this drama.
GIFs to entice UwU
He wouldn't either... >:3potatocouch:
Crying 😂 Why you gotta do me like that lmfao
Not to, like, compare or anything, but the FL in Forever Love is a boxer who delivers fists like UberEats 😌potatocouch:
I love that 🥺
I tend not to like red/black flag FLs in realistic dramas.potatocouch:
No, same here T_T black/red flag but in the smexy wayyyy!! (Cuz omg the way I wnted to choke-slam the FL form Trust is Love- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
who sends him to work in the mines like a Victorian child.potatocouch:
I'm sorry, but this is hysterical, plssss
The ML borrows a stranger's cell to call her for help and she drives all the way to the village and rescues him.potatocouch:
What the heck?! How did I never hear of this?! This sounds great!!! Knight in shining armor FL to the rescue!! Would you recommend it? How's the RR? I wouldn't mind a good noona romance right about now
Edit: Just watched the trailer. Looks promiiissiiiiiinnngggg and angstyyy but ML also seems a bit like one of those puppy-to-daddy types, so I'm conflicted TOT. pls halp
But in certain historical/fantasy settings, melodramas and vertical dramas, I want a red/black flag FL so bad!! We should definitely get to enjoy them too.potatocouch:
EXACTLYYYYYYY!!!
Home girl only cares about the ML (but she's not above sabotaging his life to get him 😭), one friend (important to keep in mind), and her gramps. Screw everyone else.potatocouch:
Absolutely love that for her, what a legend!
Part of the reason I'm taking so long to finish it is because I keep rewinding...>.>potatocouch:
I FEEL YOU!!! The way it took me literal hours to finish the first 5 eps of The Princess Decree or even the last vertical I watched because that shit was GOOOOODDDD!!!
I adore the he falls first and harder trope, even in my RRspotatocouch:
fellow puppy ML enjoyer, I respect it 🤝 Also lends itself to the "he fell first, she fell harder" trope, which liiiike- who doesn't love a moron (affectionately) woman falling face first into a lovely romance with a man that's already been smitten since day one and her dumbass just didn't notice?
He has to put up a valiant fight and "resist" her aggressive, feminine wilespotatocouch:
Maybe I'm too down-bad for sassy men because grrrrrrrrrrr I love this.
I'm defs someone who prolly has no preference over who falls and chases first, as long as it's RR, I'll eat it up either way XD

I'd just yell, "Pick yourself up, girl and find a new way to catch him!" at my phone. And man, does she ever.potatocouch:
So real!!! Don't give up, girl! That boy just needs a like a little more red-flagging, and he's yours for sURRE! XD
Things she has done to him that made me squeal:potatocouch:
- absolute peak shit- like omg I'm so weak for belt pulls~ Belts or necklaces are that shit. Ties are so last century
- Marking her man like tha alpha that she is, raaawwrr
- Is it even a femdom miniseries if she doesn't?
- I am... intrigued
- FUCKING FINALLYYYYYY- why is it SO hard to find good RR force kisses oMG
- Forced... pool playing... I'm guessing those pictures are from that... which... 😏😏😏😏😏😏
- We absolutely love to see it!!!
- WE LOVE TO SEE ITT!!!! C'mon, women are strong ASF, let her carry him!! I wish FL's carried their men more often 😔
I feel like imma be busy GIFing this one for some time... 😏 RIP my captures folder that I JUST cleaned up- three peak dramas back-to-back?!
I'm almost done (and it's still good) but I kind of don't want to finish because I'm enjoying myself so much.potatocouch:
I know the feeeeeliiiinngggg!!! But... consider.... rewatching! I keep timestamps of memorable scenes so I can rewatch. If it's a particularly scrumptious scene, I'll screen record it and/or GIF it.
but I have a soft spot for reverse piggy back rides. Can't wait to peruse this list for more.potatocouch:
Well, I'm glad to say I've found quite a few dramas where this happens, so enjoy! I'm always such a sucker for the bridal carries, but they're always a lil awkward and so so rare ToT
AHHHHH!!!! WE YOU NOT SCREAMING????? CAUSE I WAS SCREAMING! I WAS LIKE HOW ARE WE STARTING OFF LIKE THIS?potatocouch:
YESSSSSS I WAS SILENT SREAMING CUZ WHAAAATTTTT- HOW DOES IT START LIKE THAT!!! Way to HOOK YOU!!!
But I'm always skeptical about intros so I'm really happy to know it's not a bait! I'm so excited!!!
I'm really surprised by how solid the writing is, especially the banter.potatocouch:
omg, really? Good writing in my vertical minidrama?!?! That sounds promising ASF!
AND THE BELT GRAB???? Don't get me started on the way she grabbed his belt and made him sit down. Such a simple action, but I was living for it. ML is a slippery little suckerpotatocouch:
That belt grab was *chefs kiss*. Absolutely no notes. This was incredible.
Girl, you have no idea what's in store. Let me know when you finish. I have other scenes I'd like to discuss.potatocouch:
I will absolutely let you know! I'd love to discuss!
You apologized for making it long, and then I went ahead and made it longer... Sorry not sorry T_T
Absolutely! I'm excited to know your thoughts. When it comes to romance dramas, I'm your total opposite; I usually binge-watch them 90% of the time. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a romance junkie, haha.Simi_Tutu:
Ahaha, that's faiiirr!! My adhd makes it difficult for me to binge-watch, especially slower-paced things. Thrillers are usually fine xD
This analogy reflects my belief that there’s something in this show that I will appreciate, beyond just the visual appeal and the female lead's journey of humbling our male lead.Simi_Tutu:
I surely hope so! What I liked the most, overall quality aside, was just how thoroughly it commits to the matriarchy (like, the cherry on the top would've just been better femboy rep, but it's China, so I'll let it slide, lol). Now, this is coming from someone who has watched (and been disappointed by) a lot of matriarchy content, so maybe that'd be different for someone who doesn't watch it much. But yeah.
