Be careful about labeling autistic people, there's a whole spectrum of them. The guy in the drama clearly was on the side of a spectrum that allowed him to present himself in court. And even those adults who are indeed lacking in mental acuity and have mental age of a child are still tried. If you don't like reading about it you can at least watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo drama - there were cases about neurodivergent people there and FL was on the spectrum as well.
How common is it actually with one dollar lawyers in Skorea?
They don't exist 🤣 Law education in SK and around the globe is so popular because everyone wants to become lawyers with their big salaries. That's why this drama is a reversal joke on that fact. The only cases lawyers don't take money for are public pro bono cases they're obliged to take by the state. Dunno why ML asks so little for his job and how he manages to live without money (he collects those small bills in a jar) while maintaining his suave appearance, but I'm sure we'll find out. Probably got pissed off at some injustice while working as a prosecutor.
Though it's a tired old plot about lawyers/prosecutors again, it's very good so far. The leads are doing a great job and script is funny. Even FL's grandpa is a familiar funny face from Suspicious Partner where he also played a law firm's chairman. He was also in this year's ABP as well.
This is a drama solely done for fanservice, which is not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind while watching.…
Sounds like nitpicking. It's not a court drama, but a rom-com, so of course legal cases are not the focus here, but leads relationship. And they've nailed it. However, everything related to law firm's and courtroom's inner workings is done in a competent way (there clearly was some consulting on the side) and few cases that were presented here were investigated seriously, especially about that murder/fraud. There's no dumbassery or circus in court scenes, like in many dramas that are actually presented as court dramas.
Pretty boring drama, it failed to captivate me with its slice of life tropes, but romance was ok. I especially didn't like that too much time was spent on the gangsters subplot. Feel free to attack this comment for differeing opinion, I don't care.
Main villain part was so cliche and cringe in the last episode, boohoohoo 🙄 The rest was okayish fluff.
Anyway, overall this drama isn't too bad, imho, but it sure is very silly, cheesy and made on the cheap. But it's not annoyingly dumb or boring like some others that came out this year, just a "watch and forget" entertainment.
Anybody else find that Yoon Sun Woo's expressive eyes make his Kang Tae Joon character not believable as a villain? He looks like a hurt worried puppy, not a cliche bad guy he's supposed to be portraying. It's been highly noticable in the later episodes. While Hong Woo Jin's Kim Jae Ha character always looks kinda surprised and pleading with those eyebrows of his. Only the father villain loooks the villain part, but I guess if you can guess who's the villain by his face it's not always interesting.
Whatever, don't care. Let actors have their private lives private. This is not the type of news I want to see on this site, especially reports about some criminal scum.
I kinda wasn't feeling it in the last episode, the sincerity I mean. Actors were too awkward with each other. And the episode felt kinda rushed, but it's only thirty minutes, whatcha gonna do. Not a bad drama overall, I wasn't bored at least, but too much time was spent on third wheelers and going back and forth between the leads. Other subplots were minor and inconsequential.
Don't tell me what to do. Anybody can express any opinions about dramas here, it's not just for fan raving. Jeez, there has to be at least one like you in every comment section that just has the urge to shut people up for differing opinions... 🙄
Director Hong🤣Yes yes I love the drama, but Oh Director Hong, I haven't enjoyed a character like this in a…
You should watch him in Touch Your Heart, I think he's even more hilarious there - a seasoned entertainment agency CEO who knows how to handle capricious actors through mastery of reverse psychology.
After a rough start this drama is getting better. However, I still don't like 4th wall breaking, ginormous time gap the leads were sitting on their feelings and unresolved problems (irl, I think any spark would have died out years ago) and how rowdy and reckless FL is (good for comedy, but not a good trait for a lawyer). The villain is a sad joke, but at least he's better than very samey villain with dad issues in another ongoing drama called Good Job. The highlight among actors is Kim Do Hoon - quite a transformation from a deeply disturbed character in Today's Webtoon into a cheerful lad here.
i just realized how this show just have 12 episodes and 4 more episodes are left!!..
Btw, if he's locked inside the asylum then what's up with that winch outside his window? If FL got down on it safely to the ground, it's safe to assume he uses it as well. Maybe he's not so sane after all and is also involved in murders.
I think her trying to expose PJS will backfire again and she'll consent to plan B - to just kill the guy as Do…
Tbh, I don't really care about Hyorin atm. She's a weak, sheltered and infantile character with whom I can't identify. As a character I hope she gets character development - stops hiding from her family's problems in drugs and denial, gets that money she's entitled to get at her 18th birthday, reports to the police that her parents are criminals and finally gets away from them to be free and mentally healthy.

I hope he will be exposed, not just killed and turn into a victim. But with this drama you never know - maybe he's not actually a villain and it was his crazy wife and her family all along.
